I am very sorry that you would go on Angies List here and put an F review for someone that you have never spoken to. Not sure but I am certain that we have never communicated before. So maybe this is just a a mistake on your part. Thanks and have a great day!

Description of Work: Contacted this provider on 3/29/16 via the option to message it though Angie's List. Questioned its service area and asked to be contacted about providing an estimate. Sadly, no one responded to my inquiry. Why would the company provide this contact method if its not going to be responsive? Had to give an overall rating of D since the only applicable attribute received a rating of D.

Description of Work: The owner came to our house to look at our project prior to preparing his bid. He said that he would send his quote within the end of the next week. I called his office a week after his dead line and a week after that asking to talk to the owner. I never received any response to my phone calls, via mail, phone, or e-mail

Description of Work: Robert has redone my guest bathroom - tiled the walls, new bathtub and installed new shower nozzle and head. He had also installed a vanity in my powder room, he did my backsplash in the kitchen and finally hung my television into the wall. He did this all in a few days, very timely and punctual. I liked Robert's transparency with everything, he never tried to put pressure on me with up-selling. He gave raw answers to my questions. I will use Robert again in the near future to continue the great work he's done to my house. It's hard to find a great contractor, but if you read this and I give Bottom Line a 100%. Absolutely no question.

Description of Work: I worked with a bottom Line and Rob Nally last year on a bathroom remodel, so this year when we were ready to remodel our basement, we didn't hesitate to reach out to Rob again!! Rob returned our call within 24; hours. He came out to view the remodel we wanted and offered great suggestions. He provided a reasonable and detailed estimate. He gave us an estimate when work would start, and called us the day before to confirm. He took care of some critical extras (patched a small leak found after work began, removed a broken faucet outside, new outside outlet). Gone are the old floors, old paneling, old windows, even the old bar!! Custom made new bar, new energy efficient windows, beautiful tile, installed new home entertainment, new lighting, newly carpeted steps, new dry wall/ceiling and beautiful paint, even new ventilation!!! Oh, and a gorgeous refresh to a full bath as well (tile, pedestal sink, toilet and lighting)!!! You name it, he did it and did a very good job. Old and 70s is now new, efficient, modern and gorgeous!!!! On time, on budget, top quality work!! Looking forward to our next project!!

Description of Work: I believe this was his first major kitchen remodel, during demo mode he started ripping apart trim I asked him to save. (ie old chestnut trim). Other than that, the demo and rough work went well which I will give him an “A". As for the finish work I give him a ”C". I expected high quality finish work for the price I paid him. I will not use him for finish work again.

Description of Work: Robert and his team did an incredible job for us! We asked them to provide a quote and do the work to take down part of an existing brick wall, install French doors, and install and paint the trim. As you can see in our pic, we have a one year old who needed the work completed fast and finished safely! Very pleased with results

Very well. No complaints.
Description of Work: We got a free estimate. The contractor was puntual and courteous. We received the estimate by email the next day. The price was more than fair and the estimated time frame was appropriate as well. Unfortunately something came up so we cannot have the work done at this time, but we would certainly consider this company in the future.

Mr Nally came and gave me an estimate. I accepted the estimate, which then had to be modified slightly, because the stairs were not in the original estimate. Several weeks later (this was scheduled for my convenience), Mr. Nally and two workers showed up to remove the wooden door covering the 2 x 3 ft entrance to the crawlspace. They then, over the next couple of days, dug out the crawlspace, installed the footers and cinderblock walls, and backfilled around the walls. In the meantime, Mr. Nally had ordered the Bilco doors, and had them shipped to his location, so that they could be painted before installation. (It was too cold to do onsite). The painted doors were installed (and caulked where they met the house), along with the stairs, and the handrail. The site was "policed", and the job was complete.
Description of Work: The company dug out the crawlspace under my house to 6 ft, poured concrete footers, installed cinderblock walls to support the doors, and installed Bilco doors. They also installed stairs into the crawlspace, and a railing.

The work was a little pricey, but he was good. It wasn?t a simple job. We had already bought the vanity, so it was more of labor like the water lines. He took out the old vanity and the old medicine cabinet and installed new ones. He had to move the water lines and drainage pipe because the previous owners had messed it up. He was good and very professional. He seemed to take a lot of pride in his work. I would recommend him.
Description of Work: We used Bottom Line Remodeling for kitchen and bathroom remodeling. We had a vanity replaced.

I initially contacted Robert (the owner) by email and he called me within a few days. He made an appointment to come and see what I wanted and to price the job for me. A few days later he sent me by email a very detailed proposal that listed every item he would be installing, every aspect of the job he was proposing, and the price. I responded with a revised list - for instance he had that he'd install a combined ceiling fan and light fixture whereas I wanted the light to be a bar over the sink and the ceiling fan independently switched. He then submitted his revised proposal with the final cost. We spoke and agreed on a final price with the work to begin on or before a certain date. He had said the job would take one week. A couple of days before he started Robert came to my home to present and have me sign a contract setting out the exact job he was going to do at what price with a schedule of payments; the final payment due upon completion. He and his worker showed up the next Monday as agreed and by Friday morning of that week they were done. Robert is not only the owner but the primary craftsman. He was onsite throughout the entire job and kept me fully informed of his progress throughout the week. When it was completed I did a final inspection and was more than happy to make the final payment - he did a wonderful job in a truly professional manner. He told me he has been in business for himself about twelve years and it is obvious to me he is successful and I have no reason to wonder why - his work is excellent!
Description of Work: Installed a new powder room in the basement where there had not been one previously. Work involved removing some old metal wall studs that had been erected years ago but never used . They then put in 2x4 wood studs and enclosed the room with sheetrock and moulding and spackled and painted the room. They ran water and electric to the room then they broke through the concrete floor to reach the sanitary drain system and installed a "comfortable height" toilet, a pedestal sink, a GFI electrical outlet, a light bar above the sink, a ceiling vent fan with exhaust duct running to the rear of the house and seperate electrical switches for the vent and light. They installed a ceramic tile floor with marble entrance step and then a door. When they left we had an extremely well built basement powder room with significant attention to detail.

The quality of the job was excellent, the bathrooms look better than they did when they were new. I will use Bottom Line again, and recommend him without reservation.

Overall the job went well. Rob and his crew were exceedingly polite and friendly. Rob provides good work for a reasonable price. He is always focused on keeping cost down and will not nickel and dime you. Rob and his crew performed excellent rough work (electrical, plumbing, framing). In addition to work specified in our contract, Rob and his crew often provided extra services at no charge (e.g., cleaning up poor wiring by the home builder, building a simple closet in our foyer). They went out of their way to accommodate our family by keeping an operational kitchen sink and washer/dryer accessible during the six weeks between demo and cabinet setting. While our experience with Bottom Line was exceedingly positive, it was not without shortcomings. We did have a refrigerator water line leak after installation while we were away and the crew was off the job due to weather. The leak caused major damage to flooring that needed to be replaced. Rob took full responsibility and even gave thank you gifts to the neighbors who spotted the problem and limited the damage. The re-installation of the flooring was satisfactory, but not as good as when the crew originally laid the flooring prior to the cabinets being set. We would probably not recommend Rob's crew for detail work such as painting, staining and door casing/ trim, as such detail work had some obvious cosmetic flaws. When performing outside work, the crew left a lot of nails an debris underneath windows and on our deck that we had to clean up. Those shortcomings were the only reason Bottom Line received a B instead of an A. Given the scope of the job, the positives far outweigh the negatives. We would certainly consider Rob for work at our home again.
Description of Work: Rob Nally and his crew remodeled a kitchen, family room, powder room, mud room and laundry room. The demolished the existing kitchen, performed framing work per architechtural plans, performed re-wiring, installed appliance and electrical fixtures, major re-plumbing and installation of bathroom fixtures, kitchen cabinet installation, removal and re-installation of manufactured hardwood flooring, laid tiling, removed/installed windows and a sliding door, installed hardwood interior doors, stained hardwood doors, installed crown molding, installed casings/trim around unfinished interior archways, painted.

have been fighting water damage of wooden trim bay window for many years. finally realized that I am not going to win. So decided to call the expert for help. Robert Nally was very professinal and knowledge on the matter. He recommanded to replace the wood with vinyl (AZEK material). He was very prompt on his schedules. His work is execellent. I would definitely ask Robert Nally for future work.

I called three times over the course of a week or two and got the answering service each time. The answering service was always polite and took the message asking for a call back to schedule an estimate. I never got a call back from Bottom Line, despite saying on the third call that I really wanted to give them business given their ratings on Angie's List and proximity to my home, but that this was their last chance. I'm disappointed that they didn't at least call to say whether they were all booked up, not interested, etc.

It went very well! All the work looks beautiful and functions properly. The contractor was very accommodating when we would alter the plans and he worked hard to create a renovation that would meet our expectations without exceeding the planned budget.
Description of Work: Bottom Line Remodeling renovated a full bath and half bath. In the full bath, they removed a wall, replaced a single sink with a double vanity, replaced the tub with a walk in shower, replaced the toilet, installed a fan, and completely tiled the floor, walls, and walk in shower. In the half bath, they replaced the sink, installed a custom made granite vanity to match the granite in our kitchen and wet bar, replaced the toilet, replaced the tile floor, and installed wainscoting.

Robert Nally and his brother Kenny were professional, courteous, funny and I felt that I could trust them. I would hire them again. Robert showed up promptly to do the estimate and started work three weeks later and it took another three weeks to complete the work. Robert is competent and made some suggestions that I would not have thought of, like installing the pocket door between the master bath and bedroom so as not to interfere with the door to the new linen closet and it seemed to enlarge the bathroom. They showed up early each morning and thoroughly cleaned up at the end of each work day. Generally I was pleased with the end product. Two suggestions I would make is to be sure you are completely comfortable with the placement of everything (recessed lighting, cabinets, etc.) prior to installation and the floors could have been smoother. I don't recommend using a drum sander for sanding floors. We have used a belt sander in the past with better results.
Description of Work: Master bathroom was completely gutted and a wall between the master bedroom and bathroom was moved back six inches to make room for a double sinks vanity and a linen closet to be built. Plumbing for two sinks instead of one, new vanity installed, light fixtures for two instead of one plus new ceiling light and fan installed, new soaking tub and surround and new toilet installed, all new fixtures and two medicine chests installed, walls rebuilt and painted and a pocket door was installed between master bed and bathroom. In the master bedroom: a closet was rebuilt, recessed lighting and light in closet installed, walls painted, crown molding installed, floors sanded and redone in master bedroom and another bedroom and ceiling in den repaired.

Contractor arrived exactly when promised for estimate and produced estimate quickly. Estimate was a little lacking in detail and was missing one item, but overall was above average for this type of work. We selected another contractor for this job for various reasons, but we would definitely get an estimate from Bottom Line in the future for remodeling work.

The job went very well. Rob, the owner of the company, was able to work around my schedule when meeting with me as well as scheduling men to do the job. The men that worked were punctual and focused. I knew that there would be a few cans of worms as the house is 21 years old. The very first day, after demolition of the master bath, I panicked. The master bath was down to the studs and the attic was exposed. The attic was covered in mold. The guys told me not to worry that they would fix the problem. They found that my exhaust fan was venting into the attic because of a leak and the roof had a hole in it thus causing the mold. They told me how they would eradicate the mold with a bleach mixture. I bought new insulation and they installed it, they fixed the vent and the roof. The rest of the job went without a hitch. They were done in 10 days. Everything turned out better then I imagined.
Description of Work: I added additional cabinets to the kitchen as well as new counter top to the entire kitchen. I bought the cabinets and counter top from Churchville Kitchens but Bottom Line did the installation. I also had the master bath completely gutted and a new tub and shower enclosure, toilet, vanity, and floor installed. I had the bathroom doorway changed from a 30" to a 24" and a new 6 panel door installed. In the master bedroom I had the whole room painted and then I had crown and baseboard molding, a new 6 panel bedroom door and frame, and a new ceiling fan installed.
