I met with Rose in January to get an estimate to clean the entire house before move in. She showed up on time and gave me a good idea how they would clean each room and what type of cleaners they would use especially in the bathroom. The ladies showed up on cleaning day ready to go and cleaned everything that needed cleaning. I would definitely hire A Step Above again.

The cleaners were very pleasant and professional in their work. They did arrive a little early and I was not quite prepared with moving everything. I also had never had a cleaning crew before and didn't realize how much you had to move to have things cleaned. For this reason I would probably not hire this or any service again, although it was nice to have the bathrooms cleaned.

I bought a coupon for these services and then called to schedule the visit. The team came, cleaned and left. It was fine. I then called, and called again, and emailed, and called again, to schedule bi-weekly cleanings - but I cannot get these folks to return my call. So, it has soured the experience. I can say that they are not responsive and do not return calls, and don't act like they care about getting my business.

Megan and Heather were personable and professional. They did a terrific job cleaning the house. Would hire again.

I initially contacted Rose to set up an appointment for her to meet me at the townhome so that she could see the home and determine the level of effort to clean it. She arrived just before I did, so there was no need for me to wait on her. She completed the inspection of my home and rattled off the list of tasks her staff would perform (e.g., clean the baseboards, vacuum carpets, wipe down appliances, etc.). She was very professional and explained everything clearly. I called her a week or two later to set up the actual cleaning date. I arranged with her to leave my key at her office so that her staff could enter my home. Her staff of three housecleaners arrived slightly late, which meant that they were still there when my realtor arrived to begin taking pictures for the rental listing. Not a big deal as the realtor was able to work around them. When I visited the property a couple days later, I observed that the job was generally pretty good. The refrigerator and oven had been cleaned and looked great. The carpets had been vacuumed and the floors swept. The baseboards and tops of ceiling fans were clean and free of dust. My only beef was that some areas of the Pergot floor in the kitchen located beneath the counter driplines still had some spots of tacky dirt and accumulated build-up. The top of the hanging light fixture over the sink was still very dirty with accumulated kitchen grease deposits (although in fairness I can't recall if that was supposed to be included in the cleaning or not). Everything else was clean and looked great, though. In summary, I would use this service again but I do feel that they are slightly on the expensive side.

I used them just once. They got back to me right away. They came out when they said they would for a one-off cleaning. It was a complete housecleaning from top to bottom that included the bathrooms, kitchen, and rugs. I liked them. They did miss a few spots, but I thought the girls were really nice. They came on time and worked hard. They cleaned everything at the time they were here. The bathrooms were immaculate and the kitchen was really nice. There were a few spots on the sink, but that might've been because there was also a rug cleaning going on at the time. They were good and seemed pretty professional. Their price was fair for what they did.

The price is right, but the quality has been inconsistent and overall poor. We have them come every two weeks and have had them for a few months now. There has only been one time that I have been satisified with everything. I have called to complain about the quality of service several times and each time most things get a little better on the next cleaning but go back to being sub-par. For example, they don't clean behind the faucets on the counters or don't clean the backsplash (both are caked with dust and grime) -- I complained and next the very next day when they came out to clean they still didn't do it. The attention to detail isn't there. It's all about getting in and out as quickly as possible.

They are great. They are our cleaning service. So they come every two weeks. They actually spent an hour when they first came out. So it was like four and a half hours from top to bottom and we didn?t have a very dirty house. They cleaned the detailed areas and they did a lot of dusting. Then they started coming out every other week and they do a beautiful job cleaning the house. They are very flexible about their hours. The person who cleans our house has actually been very kind. We haven't seen her face to face. They will even accommodate certain things like they will put the dog in the crate. They will then take the dog out of the crate and will walk up to the kitchen. They kind of go above doing what they just have to do. They not only do a good job, but they are also personable and they seem to be very flexible. They come on the day they are supposed to come. I would use their services in the future too. In fact, I use them on a regular basis.

It was fine. The crews are always very friendly, thorough, and accommodating. They do a good job.

They come out and do the cleaning every other week. They charge each time they come out. I spend $80 every time they come out. They do an excellent job with the bathrooms. It is very important to me. I can?t think of anything negative about the company. They are very friendly and prompt. They were very prompt when they came out to give the estimate the first time. They are very accommodating. They are a couple of young girls in their 20s. They are very cooperative. I have already recommended them to someone. Their price is very reasonable for cleaning two bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, family room, kitchen, laundry room, living room, and dining room. It does cost a lot more the first time. There were a few things that I wanted done and they took care of it. I wouldn?t hesitate to recommend them and I will continue to use them in the future.

They are very good. Other cleaning companies have trouble keeping the good people, but I think because of economy they have less trouble. They go out of their way to be cooperative. They do a very good job. They try to give the same team every week so you get to know the people who work for you. Some teams are better than others, but most of them are very good. The price is excellent. The team I have now is fabulous. I have had a very positive experience with them.
