Their teams were friendly, efficient and all work was performed in a very professional manner. "I got an estimate for yard work from Hometown Tree Experts about 7 months ago. One of the early estimates included pruning some tree branches on my neighbors property because they were growing into my property. My neighbor later did the work himself and rescinded permission for Hometown Tree Experts to prune his tree. I corresponded with Jacque in the Hometown Tree Office by email and she verified that my neighbors property was removed from the quote. I then paid a deposit and signed a contract for work in my yard only. The work in my yard was fine. Unfortunately, the Hometown Tree workers apparently did not have the updated version of the work order where neighbor’s property was removed. They cut off several additional branches from my neighbor’s tree without his permission. I was very upset to hear that Hometown Tree Experts had gone into my neighbor’s yard and cut additional branches off after he had already done the needed work himself. I have called and emailed Hometown Tree Experts many times over the past 7 months to ask what they were doing to address their error. They told me repeatedly that they were working with my neighbor to resolve the issue. I am very disappointed and frustrated to hear that this this issue is still not resolved. My neighbor ultimately hired another company to fix the work done by Hometown Tree Company. I was not involved with discussions with other company so I cannot comment on that. All I know is that my neighbor and Hometown Tree Experts still have not resolved their dispute 7 months later."

"SBC did a fantastic job building me a new deck and re-paving the patio area underneath. Justin was great in coming out to measure the area and discuss options for both the deck and the patio. Steve's teams did a wonderful job with the work itself. Everything was done exactly as stated and the end product was exactly what I had hoped it would be. The reason for this not being a 5 start review is two-fold. First, all of the work was scheduled at the last minute, with less than 24 hours notice of when the teams would be out to deliver materials or do the work. Luckily this didn't end up being an issue, but it could be difficult if you're trying to schedule explicitly around the project. Second is the difficulty in getting the final piece of work completed, for installing an exterior electric outlet. It took an extra month after the completion of all other work to get that done. If electrical work is required, I'd recommend contracting that externally to SBC."
