After leaving several messages with a few companies for mold remediation, Keith was the first to call me back. He scheduled a free estimate right away, and was also the timeliest in getting the estimate to me to review. Keith's estimate was not only the most reasonable, but he was also the most professional and was extremely knowledgeable in explaining everything to us. He didn't try to scare us like the other mold companies with some crazy sales pitches. He was able to schedule the work to be done in a shorter time frame than we had requested, and even came back to do more tests to ensure the levels remained not elevated. We couldn't be more pleased with Peake Restoration's quality of work, customer service, and overall experience. Hoping we never have a mold problem again, but if we do, we know who to call! :)

We were extremely pleased with the entire process including the cleanup and would be pleased to recommend them to anyone who is in need of their services.

My only concern was that one of the workers turned off my water pump in the craw space. When I returned from vacation, I had no water. A call to the plumber and one hundred dollars later since I was unable to go into the craw space I had water. I asked Brian to reimburse but he did not. That was the only negative element. Check to make sure you have water before they leave.

Great job performing mold remediation for the entire basement (cinder block walls and ceiling joists) and also painting the walls. What a difference a couple of days make in looking at the before and after. The team did a fantastic job.

Keith was very thorough in explaining the process and what was to be completed in the remediation process. His team led by RJ was extremely courteous and did a great job in the applying the moisture barrier and the clean-up. All mold is gone but unfortunately that did not remove the odor coming from my vents so I will have to look further the determine the cause.

Removed all old Attic Insulation. Sprayed for Mold and let sit overnight. Next day installed new Insulation. Looked good and smells so much better.

I had this work done last year and totally forgot to do a review because I moved to Florida. I was going through old emails dating back to 2014 and apologize for not sending this sooner. They did a fantastic job and were very reasonable. I needed the work done quickly as I was selling my house and after the estimate, did the work 2 days later.

They made an appointment for the next working day, did the job well and cleaned up afterward nicely.

Keith came out same day and provided us with a quote and answered all of our questions with knowledge and detail. He was understanding and helpful and clearly empathized with the situation we were in. The staff came out within a few days and worked quickly and were helpful and professional. I wish we could hire them for all of our contracting needs!!! Hopefully I never need this type of work again but if I do, there will be no question on who I call.

If you have a mold issue of any kind, and you do not hire Chesapeake Restoration, SHAME ON YOU!!! I would absolutely, unequivocally recommend them to anyone and everyone! Following the move-out of a disgustingly filthy tenant in my rental house, I had a horrible mold issue in two large bathrooms, and the cathedral height ceilings of the basement stairwell, and a pervasive musty smell of mold and smoke and pet and two years' worth of bad hygiene built up in the HVAC ducts & furnace. Keith Bock was amazing from the start!!! Initially, not only did he give me an estimate...he gave me an education so that I knew what he was talking about and fully understood my situation about what types of mold I have and in the context of why I didn't have other types. Then he explained how mold works in terms I could understand so that I could make a more informed decision and be comfortable regarding which treatment option(s) I should/wanted to select. When he presented me different solutions, he did not just try to scare me into thinking that I must go with the most expensive approach. He gave me the pros & cons, as well as the risks and benefits of each solution as the applied to MY SPECIFIC situation. He didn't just give me some "cookie-cutter" answer of "oh, you have mold so you absolutely must do this". He learned about the context and parameters of my property and what I needed to accomplish, and then coached me through the options. He also encouraged me to contact other vendors...and when someone has the confidence to do that, you KNOW they great. He helped me align the other bids I received into "apples to apples" and then proceeded to crush the competition on price and services offered. THEN, he and his team went and EXCEEDED his delivery of those services. What's more, when he inspected the job the first time, he himself was not satisfied that the level of odor subsided enough, so he had his team perform another round of the cleaning AND took a more aggressive approach to the cleaning the HVAC ducts. At NO ADDITIONAL COST...who does that these days? ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. If you can't tell by now, this is an unambiguous, unwavering, RESOUNDING THUNDEROUS ENDORSEMENT and testimonial for Keith Bock and the folks at Chesapeake Restoration!!!! Thank you Keith!!! I was particularly pleased with the professionalism and courtesy of Keith. He would respond to all of my email inquiries and even apologize if he did not respond sooner. On the day of the project, the men arrived at exactly the time (8 am) that was designated. They were both kind and helpful. The price for mold removal is high, but they also cleaned all of my ducts and replaced the vents with the new vent registers that I had provided. I would not hesitate to use this company again.
