After learning our general contractor installed drywall over the heavy mold we paid them to clean from our basement joists, we needed the work done fast to keep our down-to-the-studs reno on schedule. Keith immediately responded to our inquiry, met us on site within days and provided a competitive estimate in writing less than 24 hours later, promptly sent us a written contract and scheduled the work, and ultimately completed the job in about a week. Keith's workers explained what they planned to do and eventually did, made sure to clean every inch of the basement ceiling that was reasonably accessible, took care not to damage our walls, and went above and beyond by independently taking the initiative to remove and replace batt insulation that was in their way, which other contractors said would be extra. In the last few months, I have hired numerous contractors. There are contractors who do the minimum and contractors who take pride in their work. I highly recommend Peake Restoration without reservation.

He was cordial , and very informative. Took the time to explain possible causes of mold, and what to expect from the lab analysis. He was honest , trustworthy and I had complete confidence in the outcome. Fortunately, results indicated no elevated levels of mold. A happy ending!

Absolutely professionals. We were contacted within the hour, had an estimate the next day and work completed the following day. All work prior to starting was communicated, pictures were taken, before and after. The workers advised of concerns, and noted their remedy. They cleaned up after they were finished, and advised that if we had any concerns or was not satisfied, to let them know. Every service was documented in writing. Testing was done and sent to the labs with expected response of three to five days. Overall satisfied with this company, and highly recommend if you want the job done right.

I was left with the replacement of drywall which I was not told was my responsibility. After a lengthy conversation with the owner I did get a $200 reduction in the cost. After this call I found out that the removal of 1/2 of a large wood window frame was missing. I E-mailed the owner but got no response as to what was done with the framing. I now have to add the cost of that replacement and the total is more than the $200. That does not include the time I have to spend to return my home to the original condition. The owner of this business needs to be more thorough in the information about what will be done on a job and what total responsibility the home owner has.
