A peanut butter dipping cup was flushed down the toilet causing the bowl to drain very slowly. Chesapeake Plumbing came over the same day I called for service. They were punctual, professional and very courteous. They were in and out quickly, solved the problem, cleaned up very well afterwards and all at a very reasonable price. Two large plumbers made easy work of this job. I highly recommend Ryan and Chesapeake Plumbing.

Ray was great! He found two problems when researching where our leak was coming from. Our toilet on the main floor had been leaking (a small valve was cracked) and it was leaking down into the basement. Insulation covering the pipes down there masked the problem initially, but Ray tracked it down. There was also a small pinprick hole in one of the pipes coming from the hot water heater. Ray came exactly when he said he would, and was very thorough. I think a different plumbing company may not have discovered both problems. He removed the insulation, wiped down all the pipes and made certain that the toilet was the culprit. By being so careful, he discovered the second problem. We will definitely be calling Chesapeake Plumbing again.

Chesapeake Plumbing were very professional and prompt.. From the receptionist to each plumber. The work required two visits and each time we did not wait long at all. Each individual that came to our home was top notch. I would highly recommend them.

There was a leak under my laundry tub. In an effort to save some $, I replaced a pipe and j-trap myself. But it was still leaking, so I knew I had to give up and call a plumber if I was to ever use my washing machine again. I first called another plumber who was highly rated on Angies List, and while I was waiting I called Chesapeake Plumbing, also highly rated. Ray called back after a couple of hours (and the other plumber never did). Ray said he could come out that afternoon between 2 and 4 - a nice, narrow time frame. He was very flexible with me: I was at work and said it would take me about 25 minutes to drive home, so if he needed me to be home, give me some advance time. (My son was at home but was sleeping.) Ray called a little after 2 and said he was going to stop at the hardware store and then be at my house. I told him what the problem was and what I had already done, and he said he didn't need me there right away and would go to my house first. If he needed me he would call me and then go to the hardware store while I was driving home. He called me again and told me what needed to be done. He was gentle about my attempt to fix the problem! He said there was a pinhole leak in the copper tubing and he replaced the parts. I made sure he knew I had a 10% Angies List discount coupon. He called me when he was finished and told me what he did and the prices for labor and materials, minus the 10% Angies List discount. I never even had to take off work. When Ray left I called the company and paid with a credit card over the phone. I faxed them my 10% Angies List discount coupon which I had printed that morning. Same day service, and Easy Peasy! I thought the cost was very fair: Less than $29 for parts, $160 for an hour and a half of labor. Next time I'll call Chesapeake Plumbing before I make 3 trips to the hardware store and buy another pipe wrench!

Our water heater was slowing draining and making a hissing noise. We called Chesapeake Plumbing on Monday morning and explained what was happening. They gave us a 1:00pm appointment for that same day. We were called before the plumber arrived and he was on time. The T&P valve on the water heater needed to be replaced. Also Ryan (the plumber) installed an expansion tank (in accordance with Anne Arundel code). He kept the area clean while working. We have used Chesapeake in the past and are completely satisfied with their work and pricing.

What I liked was, when they came and did the quote, he was very honest on how everything was going to work and what was going to happen. They pointed out areas that might be complicated and that might take more time than your general plumbing areas. We had some pipes ripped out that connected to our septic system. He gave us some suggestions on other areas for other plumbing needs that weren't even related to the job they were quoting on, so it was nice to get other feedback on other things on the house as well. He will be the plumber that we will call when we have an issue from now one. They were not the cheapest but they gave the best package for the price. The worker they sent out for the day was very professional and very good. He explained everything to us before he did it. He was very courteous and asked for permission before he did things. It went very well.

Ryan came out on a Saturday and did what was necessary to turn off the water. Finished the job the next week to keep costs down.

Everything was really nice from the lady at the office to the repair man. He was understanding about my dogs & called before arriving at house.

They were very good. I called them and within hours they were at my door. They finished the job for us within half an hour. They were absolutely excellent.

They did a good job. They came out the same day we called them. The work took about an hour and a half, and they hauled off the old water heater.

I have to say, we adore Chesapeake Plumbing especially Ryan. He's always on time and relatively quick but thorough with the work. We are able to get appointments within a reasonable time after calling which makes life less stressful. Most recently, we discovered water damage on the ceiling of our first floor bathroom. Ryan examined the house trying to locate the source of the leak. He had to cut into the ceiling but discovered the leak vey quickly. Apparently the pipes were not sealed/glued properly, but it was a relatively simple fix. He even provided me a number of a contractor for a drywall recommendation. Although I hope not to need them (for a while at least), I would definitely use and recommend Chesapeake Plumbing.

Very pleased with Chesapeake Plumbing - I will use them again the next time I have a plumbing need!
