The plumbers arrived on time and fixed the toilet in a matter of minutes. They also answered a question about avoiding burst pipes and showed me where to turn of the water to my house when I go on vacation -- very helpful and reassuring.

Dan and Kyle were very professional. They even showed up early. :-) We have used Chesapeake Plumbing before and have always been very happy with service and price. They don't try to sell you things you don't need like other companies have done to us in the past. Thanks for another job well done!

After completing the repairs for the emergency call, he recommended moving the pipes to an interior wall to prevent any problems in the future. I agreed and called that day to schedule their return visit. I was told that someone would arrive between 8 AM to 12 PM. On the day of the appointment, work was in progress by 8:30 AM! All employees were pleasant and very patient with answering any questions. All repairs and alterations were made and my house was left clean. I will certainly call this company again for any future repairs.

I called at 9am and they had someone to my house by 10:30am that same day! Justin was professional, thorough, and friendly. He found the clog right away after doing a few tests! He cleaned out the clog and did not make a mess at all! He also discovered a leaky sink and fixed that as well for me! I would definitely recommend Chesapeake Plumbing to all of my friends and family!

They are good people to work with. The first that I called them, I called them just out of the blue and I was told that I had a gas leak and I let them know this. They were available quickly and came within 45 minutes. They did a gas leak repair about four years ago and that was the first time that I had used them. Their prices are certainly reasonable and they are very thorough with the work.

(I've always appreciated Chesapeake Plumbing for responding quickly to calls, doing a thorough job when they arrive, and for their reasonable fees. The plumbers are always friendly and willing to answer our questions patiently.)

Did everything in the quote well. Timing of the project was excellent - 51/2 hours.

Called as soon as business opened at 7:30. Told us they had another drain clog scheduled at 10, and would then show up between 12 and 3. Called about 30 minutes before arriving at 2. The plumber (Justin) explained the cost beforehand. Snaked the drain to remove the clog and performed cleanup. Took about 45 minutes in all. Also looked over our sump pump drain and provided a rough estimate of installing back-up pump. Took down email so the company could forward a formal estimate. Pleased with the entire transaction, will definitely use them again.

I had an issue and they came the same day. They helped me out as I needed immediate help. They did a great job and I was very happy with the service. The cost was not cheap but it was well worth their time and service. I spoke to the owner and he was very nice to work with and he was open to coming out quickly to fix the issue. They were very professional as well.

I found that the valve that he had installed was faulty. They honored the work and he came back to fix it. The original guy had stopped working for the company and it took him about an hour to complete the work at that time. The new guy it took him a few hours and that was kind of strange to work with and I probably would not use them again. The first guy that came out I would give a B for the quality and for the second guy I would give a D.

The service was excellent. Everybody at the place was excellent. They were recommended by another service provider that we had used from Angie's List and that company was Tiffany Builders. I have recommended them to others. I called them at about 10:15 PM and they called back around 7:15 AM the next morning. They were very responsive and they helped quickly.

They were here within an hour of the time I called. The technician was extremely polite & informative. We will have Chesapeake Plumbing back to install a new kitchen faucet and install a water regulator.

Fantastic work, super quick, and crazy reasonable. While I don't wish for future plumbing issues, I know who I will be calling wen they arise.

Mike (not sure of last name) was late. Gave a hard sell to upgrade existing sump pump. Then changed the price between quote & bill write up. Increased from $400 to $450, then reduced it to $400 as the Angie's List discount.

Justin called before he came. Very friendly on the phone and after he arrived. He realized he would have to go get a jackhammer to remove some of the old concrete around the sewer pipe. There was another man who came back with Justin to do the jackhammer work. The finished job looks nice, and now the protruding pipe is no longer 4 inches above ground level. The entire thing is level with the driveway, and in case I ever have to have access to the sewer, the cap will be easy to remove. Entire job was finished in a little over two hours, and it looks nice.

It was outstanding. Ryan was wonderful. He also installed a kitchen sink and garbage disposal in another home during the same week. Both jobs were done very well. He is a great employee, a real keeper!

Chesapeake plumbers were knowledge-able, professional, and on time. They replaced the water heater in 1.5 hours and cleaned up afterword.

We called Chesapeake plumbing to come look at a variety of plumbing problems on the foreclosure that we had recently purchased. They were offering 10% off for Angie's list members at the time. Ryan came out and started in the kitchen. He fixed the dishwasher drain line which was leaking under the sink. He ended up replacing the whole kitchen drain assembly because it was broken. Then he snaked the kitchen drain line. He told me that he thought it was slow because of grease buildup. Next, he identified that the main level tub was slow due to a broken piece of the drain blocking the flow. He removed the piece and reinstalled it correctly. Finally, he went to work on the slow toilet in the basement. He attempted to run the snake through the toilet but hit a check valve not far down the line that blocked the snake. He located an access to the check valve but was unable to open the check valve due to it having been rusted and it being in a tight space. He told me that he could not help me any further since he could not inspect the operation of the check valve but suspected that the check valve was the source of the problems with the slow toilet. Later, I bought an ratchet extension kit and was able to open the check valve easily with my ratchet and long extension. I was disappointed that Chesapeake plumbing did not have this equipment on the truck and was unable to fix or further diagnose this issue. The issue turned out not to be the check valve and he should have been able to identify this as easily as I was as soon as I got access to the valve. Finally, on price, I was disappointed to see that Chesapeake plumbing charges a snaking fee of $125 plus labor. I thought that the snake would be standard plumbing equipment and should not be extra on top of labor. I was told that there are maintenance costs associated with the snake and that this pricing was the company policy. I would not call Chesapeake Plumbing again for drain clearing. However, I would call them again for other plumbing or fixture problems.

The owner of the company came out himself because all of his employees were already dispatched. He arrived within 20 minutes. He was very kind (which meant a lot to me because I was in tears) and identified the source of the problem quickly. He made sure we received same day service. They squeezed our job into the schedule and they arrived that afternoon. The price was very fair and the job was done correctly. I will definitely call them the next time we have a problem. UPDATE: I should point out that we continued to use this company over the years (we have since moved out and are now renting the home). They continued to provide outstanding, responsive service. There was even one time, they came out and declined to do what we were asking for stating that it wasn't really the problem and wouldn't have solved the issue. How many times lately has someone told you that they didn't want to take your money?! Honestly is a rare and treasured thing these days. We left their number with our renters and instructed them that if a call has to be made, it should be to Chesapeake.

Servicemen arrived early and were very professional during the job. They finished up in about 20 mins. Answered all my questions and were very professional. Test has to be done yearly so I will be calling upon them again next year.

Overall the service was fantastic. I called Thursday they came out Monday between the agreed time. Ryan who performed the test was very professional and explained what he was doing every step of the way. I would recommend Ryan and Chesapeake Plumbing for this particular test if you need it.
