+ 0 moreHow'd it go? We want all the details The company returned contacted me promptly when I requested an appointment. The work went well and the cost wash much less then I expected. The repairs were not complicated. I have many problems in the past with companies not showing up or cancelling at the last minute. Chesapeake Plumbing was great setting up an appointment and giving me a small waiting window. I would recommend this company!
Description of Work: The plumber listened to my problems and checked the list of problems I discussed with him. The repairs were more simple then I anticipated. Inspected my water heater - it did not require any work. I had no running water in one bathroom sink. Faucets in both bathrooms were replaced. (I purchased nice fixtures ahead of time) Fixture to one shower is out dated and corroded and to avoid ripping out all tile, plumber can get replacement of current fixture. I still need to have work done to replace corroded water fixtures attached to the water line of my washing machine and need basement utility sink replaced. I have scheduled another appointment. The company called to verify the work I requested ahead of time and verified appointment. Plumber gave me a 2 hour window - he also called same morning stating he might be running late but was still there in the 2 hour frame! Very polite and didn't try to sell me work I did not need. Plumber did not leave any mess after he completed the work. I thought I would need major plumbing work and the repairs were mostly problems due to lime build up and old corroded fixtures. I was very satisfied with this company and would recommend them to any one!

+ 0 moreFirst time i've used Chesapeake and am very happy with the service. The appointment was easy to schedule and Ryan showed up right on time for a first thing Friday morning appointment. Although I missed the call, he called while enroute to let me know he was on his way, which is something I appreciate. He was clean, neat, and professional and completed the work quickly after taking the time to explain exactly what he was going to do and the costs. I had some dissatisfaction with the company I had used in the past, opening the door for Chesapeake. I will certainly call Chesapeake for any future plumbing needs - they were great!
Description of Work: Chesapeake cleared a clogged bathroom sink and replaced a broken trap that was leaking.

+ -1 moreIt went great! I called Chesapeake Plumbing because one of my new employees took a pair of vice grips to the hose bib for whatever reason... and then started to turn it the wrong way..... It eventually gave in and snapped under the pressure causing me to nearly have a heart attack when I noticed a fountain of water shooting all over the lawn... After explaining the issue, we got the repair scheduled for a time the homeowner could be home and Chesapeake Plumbing came in and made us look great by providing the customer with a flawless repair, quickly, and with a very reasonable repair cost for us. While I hope we never have to call again for the same reason, I wouldn't hesitate to call them or refer them to any friend, family member, or neighbor when the need arises.
Description of Work: Repaired / replaced a water spigot that was damaged by my cleaning company.

Since many of my neighbors have sprinkler systems and require the backflow testing yearly, he suggested we get together and try to get a group discount for having him come out and do the test all at once. Second year in a row for calling Chesapeake and I will call them again next year.
Description of Work: Ryan came out and did a Backflow Prevention device test. He also replaced the stopper on two leaky toilets.

They are efficient so it keeps the price very reasonable. They were also able to replace other piping that looked bad in the vicinity of the leak, so I got bang for my buck. Highly recommend!

+ 0 moreAwoke to a pinhole leak in my hot water line near my water heater on Friday morning. After closing the nearest hot water valve, I called Chesapeake Plumbing because they were listed in Angie's list AND they were local. When I called at ~7:45 AM the crews had just left the shop for their first work locations. I was told that the first crew\guy to finish would give me a call. Sure enough, at ~9:30 I received a call and a man was on the job at my place by 10:00. I had a specific request that the offending water line be replaced with cpvc and an additional cut-off valve be installed. All was done to my satisfaction within a couple of hours. I wish I could compliment the plumber by name but the amazing thing is: All of this was done by phone on my part. I never met the man. I didn't lose a minutes' work. I have lived in Pasadena for 14 years and hired a different plumber every time I had a plumbing issue in that time. They all came up short in one way or another. Not any more! I have finally found a plumber who I will call back the next time: Chesapeake Plumbing.

+ -1 moreRyan, the young man who serviced our plumbing issues was not only polite. He called 20 minutes before arriving, took off his shoes, kept us apprised of the issues at hand. We showed him a third problem in the shower and he not only told us what he thought it was but that it was not the problem we thought it was but something else. It turned out to be a minor problem which he fixed with sealing the area. We were so grateful! We definitely will use this company again. And have told our other neighbors in our condo community to hire him. And also our daughter!

I called Chesapeake Plumbing early Monday morning (7:00 a.m.) and they were able to get someone to our home by 12 p.m.! The man who came to our house (Sadly, I can't remember his name) was courteous, thorough and prompt! We learned that we have to replace our outside water pipes. The plumber gave us an estimate for this & suggested we call in April to have it done. We look forward to having them back! I highly recommend Chesapeake Plumbing!
