Everything went well and thought the plumber they sent did a good job.

My garbage disposal jammed and was leaking on the Labor Day holiday weekend. Chesapeake Plumbing promptly returned my Sunday phone call. We agreed the repair could wait until the next business day (averting higher holiday rates). The company called first thing Tuesday morning and scheduled me for later in the afternoon. Jimmy, the repairman, was very professional and friendly. He quickly diagnosed that although the disposal had been leaking, the leak was caused by the jam. The disposal did not need to be replaced, but merely needed to be reset to unjam it. We only had to pay the reasonable service fee (discounted 10% as an Angie's List customer), and also received an education in garbage disposal troubleshooting.

Went fine. Came on time and quickly. Very professional

Though over an hour late, as an initally agitated first-time customer, my opinion was swayed once Keith arrived to install new faucets in my upstairs bathroom. Keith was very quiet, but very informative and professional. He was very patient with my questions, and even offered suggestions for other potential bathroom fixes before he left. He did an excellent job and I was very pleased. I was initially told that it would take approximately one and half hours to complete the work, but Keith was out in much less time than that. Would definitely hire this company again...and plan to do so in the near future!

Their tech Keith was very professional. He contacted me to give an estimated time and he shown up right on the dot! The job entailed the replacement of two corroded copper pipes that Keith replaced for the tub faucet an installed two cut off valves as well using PVC. Time of completion was two hours. The price compared to similar work performed by Jiffy was half the price. I would use Chesapeake Plumbing again.

I called around 8am after finding that my ceiling had water damage and was leaking over the living room the night before. I turned off the water to my house that night since I didn't know what was leaking. They were out around 9:30, quicker than anticipated. Service was super friendly, they took their shoes off, moved furniture out of the way, placed plastic sheets down just in case and got to work. They had to cut the drywall of the ceiling out so they could see where the leak was coming from. They found that it was from the shower seal. They fixed it, tested it, and tried drying off more of the drywall with rags. They asked if I wanted to keep the plastic for when the drywall repair guy came and so I did. They cleaned up and put the furniture back. They were very knowledgeable and courteous. Would definitely recommend using them!

Jimmy from Chesapeake Plumbing was coming on time. He was nice and knowledgeable. He wear a cover for his shoes since it is hard wood floor. He located the problem and fixed it. I am satisfied with his service.

I had a great experience with Chesapeake Plumbing and would use them again in a heartbeat. I requested an estimate through their website over Labor Day weekend and received an email with the estimate on Tuesday morning. I was able to book everything through email and was able to schedule service later in the week. Jimmy did a great job removing the old toilet and installing the new one. He did everything in an hour and frankly it would have taken him less time, but I asked him if it would okay for me to watch him so that I could learn how to install the next one myself. He was so incredibly nice and patient and explained everything that he was doing and why he was doing it. I feel very confident that I can do the next one myself, but would not hesitant to call them for my next plumbing project.

John the plumber came the very same day our new coutertops were installed, so there was no downtime for the use of our sink, disposal, dishwasher. He was truly professional.

Jimmie, the plumber, was on time and called before he came. Wore shoe covers and greeted me with hand shake. Right to job and answered my questions. Asked him to see something downstairs unrelated to original call. Gave me his opinion on problem. Would definitely use this company again.

The plumber came early and looked at the problem. He needed to get more tools but returned shortly and was able to fix the first leak without having to tear up the tile even though the plumbing had been tiled in so you couldn't get to it without chipping some space around it. He ran into another problem with the second leak because our plumbing is so old and couldn't be removed easily. He had to find some outdated parts that most places don't sell and use special tools to get everything apart but was able to do it in a reasonable amount of time. He didn't charge for any of the extra time it took him to find the parts or tools, only the time at the house and was very reasonable in that price too. He was very friendly and always kept me updated on what he needed to do and how it was going. I paid more to have a drain unclogged before so I was very happy overall. Will use them again.

I called for service at 8:00 am and someone was at my door at 10:00 (pretty impressive considering that we had a wicked storm last night and I am sure I was one of a hundred people who called this morning!!). He was professional and went right to work. I appreciated the prompt service and professionalism. It was a first time call and the service professional acknowledged that I took a chance by calling them and told me he appreciated it. I will surely call them for my future plumbing needs!

From the beginning it was a great experience dealing with everyone at Chesapeake Plumbing. Jen at the office was very helpful, she answered all of my questions and e-mailed all the information about specs and cost so I could make an informed decision on purchasing a new toilet. Jimmy arrived within the time slot given and was very professional, informative, and polite. He worked carefully and with precision and still did it in an affordable amount of time. He also performed (at my request) some additional work that I had not originally requested. I will definitely be calling them for any further plumbing needs that I have.

Chesapeake Plumbing was absolutely superb from the very start. I called on a Friday afternoon to request an estimate, and Amanda was incredibly friendly and eager to help. She told me that they had a serviceman in my area who had just finished a job, and he could be here within 20 minutes. Not only did he show up exactly when expected, but Paul was extremely professional and informative on how they could easily make the changes we needed. I received a call first thing on Monday morning from Amanda, giving me the price, which was better than all other estimates we had gotten through our general contractor. Not only was the price very fair, but I was told that they could be out the next day to get it done. Shawn showed up on Tuesday - on time - and got the job done quickly and efficiently. He left no mess, and was extremely polite and professional. I not only recommend this company, but I will absolutely be using them for all of our plumbing jobs in the future.

On-call plumber responded to emergency Saturday call promptly and professionally - he was unable to fix the extensive plumbing problem without additional tools, but he calmed my frazzled nerves. When I called the office on Monday morning to schedule the follow up service call, the office knew exactly who I was and were in the process of scheduling the visit. Ryan came back to my house with reserves (more tools and an additional plumber) and together they were able to unclog my pipes without having to cut through any drywall or ceilings. Chesapeake is prompt, responsive, professional - they will always be my first and only call!! They also give a 10% discount off of labor for Angie's List members - they value their customers!

The fitting to the toilet shut-off valve started leaking & spraying water early this morning. I contacted Chesapeake Plumbing & made an appointment for 1:00p. I asked Jennifer if someone could come out earlier if possible. Jimmy showed up an hour earlier for which I am grateful. My bathroom doesn't have much space so Jimmy was twisted like a pretzel most of the time while he was working. When he finished I had a new shut-off valve and no leaks anywhere!! After all his work I felt the price was reasonable. Jimmy & Chesapeake Plumbing now hold the "Plumber's Position of Honor" among my refrigerator magnets. I highly recommend them and I will definitely use them again.

After calling ahead, Ryan arrived earlier than scheduled which was very convenient as the project took 4.5 hours. He identified the problem with the leaking pipes draining the tub and replaced galvanized pipes with PVC pipe. This project was very difficult as the maze of 60 year old pipe was crowded, rusty and difficult to remove. Next, after locating a stud, he fastened a second shower head holder to the shower wall and placed the existing shower head into it which appeared to be a good match, but, not really snug and the next day the shower head fell out of the holder and broke. I called the company and explained what had happened. Ryan returned the next day and placed a different shower head and hose. It appears to be a snug fit. He changed out the outdoor spigot and so far, no drips, runs or errors. I had purchased the 1.5 hour labor coupon and was glad I did. However, I just realize that for Ryan to pick up parts for the tub I was not given a credit for his time away. He had mentioned that his "parts truck" was being worked on and I believe this most likely cost me. Ryan did a very good job and was very professional. He knows his profession. I will hire this company again, but, will ask more questions about parts and labor fees.

The ceiling of the main floor 1/2 bath had a wet area. I thought the water was coming from a bath tub upstairs as it only leaked down to the other room when I turned on the water for the tub/shower, but nothing was visible. I called Chesapeake Plumbing (found them on Angie's List) on 7/21/2014 and got an appointment for the next day between 8 & 12; which was fine as it wasn't an emergency. Shawn called 1st and then arrived at 8 AM and started investigating the problem. Instead of assuming the leak was coming from a pipe inside the wall, Shawn thoroughly checked out other avenues first. He discovered that the hot water faucet on the upstairs tub had a leak and water was backing up into the inside wall and dripping down to the ceiling below. Shawn re-adjusted the hot side cartridge and the leak was fixed. Shawn was very professional, friendly, and courteous. He explained everything to me and answered questions that I had. Thank you Shawn and Chesapeake Plumbing.

I chose Chesapeake Plumbing because of all of the positive reviews. There were a few minor repairs that needed to be done. They were on time, very pleasant, and even gave me straight forward advice on what to fix and what to replace. It was a good experience. The only thing I didn't like was the price structure. I was not aware that if I purchased a 1 hour plumbing repair thru the Big Deals, that what was actually included is only 30 minutes of work. Apparently the first 30 minutes is for travel, and 30 minutes is for work. This was not explained to me when I made the appointment, but the plumber was so very nice about the misunderstanding and he made sure he got to the 2 items that I really needed fixed. I appreciated his efforts.

Showed up on time. He was very nice and professional. He went the extra mile when he realized there were issues with the install and came back the next day to finish.

On time, excellent work. Technician overcharged by counting not counting the coupon. It was caught by the company, they called me, apologized and refunded the money in a couple of days. Very nice customer service, integrity was terrific.

The response was great. Because it was not immediately evident where the water was coming from, a plumber had to come to the house. Ryan who answered the phone identified someone (Shawn) who was going to be in the area, and Shawn came by within 1 hour of the call. Shawn was able to quickly identify the leak which was a small pinhole leak in a pipe and fixed it within an hours' time. I am very thankful and appreciative of the quick and professional response to the emergency call. Had it not been for the quick response the damage from the water could have been far worse. Both Ryan and Shawn were wonderful to work with.

I used an Angie's List Big Deal for $105 for one hour (normally $117, so a $12 discount--not huge, but it's something, and Chesapeake Plumbing had good reviews). My tenant said there was a leak under the sink. Chesapeake Plumbing was easy to work with. I called on Friday morning and made an appointment for Monday; the person on the phone was easy to speak with and estimated the job should be an hour. She actually offered to have the technician call when he was about 30 minutes away since I didn't live at the property, which was great. The plumber, Shawn, found the problem, explained it to me, and fixed it in about 10 minutes. Since I had paid for an hour he walked around the house with me and checked out some other plumbing areas of the house (sump pump, water tank, etc.) to give his opinion. I'd definitely use them again.
