On the first visit, one plumber came to diagnose the problem. Because of its location and what needed to be done, a second plumber was needed. Being shorthanded, they couldn't do my job that day. On the second visit, two plumbers came and fixed the issue. Both were hardworking and clearly knew what they were doing. They went to work immediately and finished the job in less than 1.5 hours. The coordinator Patti (Patty?) is a true asset to the company. She always responded to my Angie list messages within half an hour, much quicker than I expected. I gave Chesapeake plumbing a B rating because there were a few things that held them back from being an "A" rated company in my mind: Needed two visits for what could have been done in one. I'm willing to let this slide as they were apparently short handed and my appointment was sort of last minute (made 2 or 3 days in advance). No "heads up" call to let me know they were coming- For the first visit I was given the window of 8 to 12. The plumber showed up around 10 30. It would have been nice if they called to say, "hey, I'm about (5, 15, or 30) minutes out" whatever the case may be. It would help people know they were truly on their way and could arrive soon instead of just showing up. When the pipe was first cut, the plumber had a tarp down to catch the water. He left with his materials even though there was still a slow drip coming from the pipe. He either should have left a bucket or told me to place something underneath the hole until it stopped. Luckily I was home afterwards and noticed, otherwise my carpet would have been wet. They needed a piece for my setup but used their last one at a job earlier in the week. Both plumbers took off (nothing else could be done here without it) to buy the piece. On the one hand the piece was needed to complete my job, so it seems somewhat justified to charge me for this. On the other hand, I paid to have both of them to drive to the store and buy a piece that they should have had available. Overall it was a good experience with Chesapeake plumbing. With just a few minor improvements, our next encounter (which I hope doesn't happen soon) will be great!

Need a new hot water tank. Will install next day and will receive a credit for the service call. Have used this company in the past and they have always been very responsive to fixing our plumbing problems on the same day that we placed the call.

Terrific. Keith was very professional and helpful, explaining steps and condition of equipment all along the way. I highly recommend them based upon this experience.

Keith, the plumber, was right on time, super-nice, and very, very helpful! He did an excellent job, and also took the time to help me with another long-term problem, a very old outside faucet, even though this wasn't on the "ticket". This was, by far, the best plumbing experience I've ever had.

Service was very prompt and water flow restored. However, pressure was not fully restored. Second request for service was immediately reacted on and problem resolved to our satisfaction.

I called many many plumbers on Angie's List, and some were going to charge up to $500.00 to install a new garbage disposal! I knew that the garbage disposal is only around 75.00, so I could not believe it was a $400 charge to install! Finally, Chesapeake said they would install it, as long as I provided the new one. I saved hundreds of dollars, they were easy to work with and super nice. I will be using them again. They were on time and very easy to communicate with.m

Very well. Identified the source of problem - broke through soffit for access and repaired problem so quickly that I had him do a toilet repair that I had put off for doing myself. The entire project was fixed in less time than I had budgeted for the frozen pipe.

The plumber called before he was set to arrive. He arrived an hour early, which worked out fine. He was professional and fairly quick with his work. I've used Chesapeake Plumbing in the past and will definitely consider using them again in the future!

Very friendly plumber showed up on time and took the sprayer off the end of the hose. He then screwed it on tightly and turned the water on. No leak! That's all it was. It needed to be tightened. Although he was there for 15 minutes and did no actual plumbing work, I still was required to pay the $150 service call. Ridiculous! A local, reputable plumber would never have charged me for no work.

I purchased the $105 for one hour of plumbing labor deal and two days later they were at our house performing the work. We simply needed a gas dryer replaced. The gentleman that came out was punctual and friendly and he was honest and explained that he would need to go get some extra parts and it would incur a small additional charge. I would highly recommend this company to others!

Our sump pump stopped working, the pipes burst, it was a mess. We went through a few names on Angie's list, but Chesapeake Plumbing was the first to respond, the first to state they could come out within an hour or two. They arrived on time, explained the problem, why it happened, and fixed, replaced everything that needed replacing. Very professional, very informative, excellent service.

It went great, he was very helpful and explained things. Worked quickly, cleaned up after himself, very polite.

Plumber found the problem immediately after I turn on the outside hose, he got a little wet. Within half an hour all was better. Very pleasant to deal with and we talked about doing similar work in the front of the house in the future. The work wasn't done today because it needs to be set up for a 2-3 hour job.

Excellent. Got an appointment within a few days. Technician came when we expected him, even called ahead to let us know he was on his way. Finished the work quickly and explained the process to me as I watched.

John arrived promptly and quickly sized up the job saying. "It's an easy fix." He had to go and get the parts but once he came back, he got right to work and completed the job in a timely fashion. He cleaned up after himself-all I had to do was put everything back under the sinks! I have used your company twice before and will happily use you again. I highly recommend this company.

Fast, precise, cleaned up and was friendly and answered questions. John was able to get the cable through another drain and clean stoppage.

This is the second time we've used Chesapeake Plumbing and we'll continue to use them for any future needs. The service is always very professional and courteous and at a fair price. Highly recommended.

It went great! They came out quickly and I'm impressed with their speedy responsiveness. It was freezing outside and they were able to quickly fix my issue without having to tear up my back patio by rerouting the new pipe. They are the ones to call in a pinch.

I called on the morning of the 18th. The receptionist said that because of the weather, The technician may be at my home after 2 pm, but he would call me at work to let me know he was on his way. Keith did call me and he was there at 4pm. He worked on the problem until 7pm and told me that the problem would require him to come back on the 19th for further adjustments, but the repair was fixed until then. On the 19th, Master Plumber Ryan came to complete the job. Ryan and Keith were absolutely the best and most professional gentlemen, explaining the situation, what the repairs involved, and fixed the problem, cleaning up the mess, presenting the invoice and thanking me for using them again. I recommend Chesapeake Plumbing to anyone needing their service!

initially called Chesapeake Plumbing because my sump pump was constantly running and I had water in the basement. The plumber found that a water filter had fallen into the sump pump pit and was blocking the float. While inspecting the area he noticed the corroded pipe on the well tank and recommended it be replaced. I was impressed by his professionalism and very satisfied with the work performed. I recently recommended Chesapeake Plumbing to a friend/neighbor based on my experience with the company.
