Bob Lester's Tree Service Inc. is a very, very professional company. They took out a tree that was in a bad spot. It could have caused damage coming down, but they were excellent.

I sought several estimates for tree removal, pruning and other work. They responded promptly, politely and professionally. I had forgotten to add a request to review or estimate for a third situation and staff nicely telephoned me back to check and confirm all potential work with no pressure but professional throughout.

One of the trees encircled a telephone line. I watched them carefully avoid damaging the line. I was very impressed.

We are buying a foreclosure. There is a tree that is leaning towards the house and already is touching the roof of the house causing damage to the roof. We had an inspection and got a list of recommendations from the home inspector on contractors he uses. I called Bob on Wedesday for an estimate to remove the tree. Was told by Bob's wife that he would be out on the following Tuesday. Bob calls on Thursday, two days after the date the wife had told me to get directions to the house and says he will fax the estimate to me, does not do text, GPS, or email. His wife calls that Friday and says sorry, we are too far out. She said she could recommend us to someone but we are too far out in Bowie to recommend to. Needless to say that Friday was our storm of the century and the tree fell on the house. Not saying anything about their work, never made it that far, but I would have got someone else out there if I knew they would jerk me around all week. Maybe if they were not a referal or just told us up front they would not take our business, we would not right a review.

He did all the things I needed on my trees. My previous experience was very bad. He saw some things that needed to be fixed and he did it well. He did everything right and as I asked. Nothing was damaged.

I watched them do the work and was very much impressed. They were very careful not to cut too much, too fast. The stumps were removed, and mulch was used to fill the craters left by the removed stumps. Quality work and well planned.

They brought in a boom and a mulcher, approx 6 guys, and had the whole job completed in one day. Clean up was fantastic, especially around the driveway. They also dealt with a very difficult neighbor, who originally wouldn't allow them to come through his yard. We were extremely happy with the service. Everyone spoke English and he was fully licensed and insured, unlike other tree service providers who approached us for the job.

The job was fast and to our satisfaction.

Mr. Lester kept his original appointment on time. He provided a cost estimate nearly one-half that of another company we liked and had used previously. His crew arrived on time on the scheduled start day and completed the work in less than five hours! A more professional, well-coordinated crew we have never seen. Stump ginding was scheduled for a second day and that crew arrived on time and completed the job with dispatch. To protect the lawn, this company places plywood tracks for its machinery to traverse. Clean up was excellent. We were pleased to note that several neighbors have also used Bob Lester Jr Tree Service.

Service was performed on the agreed upon schedule.

He did everything that he promised. On down side was that when I tried to call, I got an answering machine and had to wait for a call back. They came on a Monday and completed the job on a Wednesday. When I went out to check on them he let me know that they were not going to be able to complete the job in one day. I think the communication could have been better. We would have liked to have been more informed as to the next step in the process. We didn't know if he was coming back the next day when the job wasn't done on the first day. It was a lot of work, and I think the price was fair based on the difficulty of the job. Bob was very professional and knowledgeable when he talked with us about the job.

He was timely, polite, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to help. His price was very reasonable. He was so good, I have already referred him to fiends.

Gave us a reasonable estimate. Showed up on time. Everything was done in one day.

Bob Lester promptly called when he realized extenuating circumstance would keep him from being on time for estimate date set. He showed up on time when rescheduled. Crew showed up on time to do the work. The clean up was good. The attitude of everyone was great.

BOB LESTER TREE SERVICE TOOK DOWN NINE TREES IN FRONT AND SIDE YARD, AND FIVE TREES IN BACKYARD. THEY DID THE JOB IN LESS TIME THAN I WAS TOLD. THEY ARRIVED ON TIME, AND WITH A FULL CREW OF WORKERS. THEY WERE FRIENDLY, RESPONSIVE, AND VERY CONSCIENTIOUS. THEY WERE ALSO VERY NEAT AND SAFE.
