The shed had suffered a bit of initial damage from the tree falling, and Bob's crew did a great job of removing it while avoiding further damage. I just asked him to cut the tree into manageable sections and leave it for me so that I could re-purpose the wood. He did exactly what I asked for and was communicative throughout the process from estimate to performing the work. Would definitely use this company again.

Bob was very friendly and came and explained the work to be done. He told us when the work was to be done and that was when it was done. Although the job didn’t get finished in one day he didn’t let it linger and promptly finished the work. Very satisfied with the job and the professionalism of his staff.

This was a wonderful experience for us! Bob was super-responsive, and really helpful and courteous during the walk-through. Bob's crew of several men completed the work in a morning. They expertly removed the fallen tree, taking care not to damage the lawn. They also trimmed nearby trees that had been damaged by the falling oak. They climbed the double-trunked oak and topped it, and left the trunks standing for habitat, as I had asked. They also cut the branches into firewood lengths. They did a beautiful job of pruning and thinning, and cleaned it all up. I added a couple of other smaller trees to the job as they were working, and they took care of those, too. I would recommend this company most highly!

Bob and his crew were awesome. We bought a new house with many trees that had not been touched in several years. Bob walked the property with me and identified some problem areas. Based on conversations with other folks in the area, I know I got a great deal. They took down the dead or diseased trees, trimmed all the deadwood on the others, ground the stumps, and even filled in any divots with some topsoil and grass seed. I should mention there weren't too many divots because they used a good deal of plywood to protect my yard. A+ and Thank you Bob.

Bob was a pleasure to work with. He was extremely knowledgeable above the various trees in question and offered several options for us to consider. There was no pressure as to which option to choose. The crew was all work and completed most of the work Saturday and completed it Monday. Aside from the missing trees, there was little to indicate they were there as the crew did a thorough job of cleaning up after themselves.

I was very impressed with him at the estimate. Very honest. Got to work quickly which was very appreciated since one tree was rotted and I didn't want it to fall onto anything. They came the day after the estimate to do the 2 smaller trees then another day soon after to finish up all the rest of the work.

Unlike a couple competitors, Bob Lester did not try to gauge me for storm cleanup. The whole interaction was pleasant and professional, and I appreciated that the company took great pains to ensure their heavy equipment did no damage to the boardwalk pathway in my yard.

We had 3 bids on the work all were fairly similar, but Bob lester's quote did included a little more in the pricing. We decided to go with Bob Lester partly because of the pricing, but also because Bob appeared to be very honest and was extremely helpful. When they came out to do the job they were very prompt and did the job as expected, the were extremely well organized, clearing as they were going. They even did a few extra things we were not initially anticipating to help us out. Overall we were very impressed with Bob Lester and his team and we will definitely use them again for our tree maintenance.

He is one of the best I’ve ever met in my life. He’s honest, on time and does the job very well. I appreciate his work. I’m going to keep him as my tree service man. I’m very happy that I have him. He’s so nice. He’s so knowledgeable. He would ground down the stump on the sugar maple. He knows what to do. He does a neat job. He does it very reasonably. Everything he did was good. I would have him again and again for as long as I need him.

Great! Our community contacted five tree service companies. Three companies were chosen for bids. Bob Lester was knowledgable, suggested which trees to remove and advised which ones to keep. Two trees we thought needed to be removed he advised to trim because of the good health of the trees. Both of these trees provide major shade to our home and we appreciated the time he took to inform us. Two of the trees spread into our neighbors yard and again we learned that limbs extending into another's' property had to have their permission to be removed. Three more of our neighbors joined into removing trees. The two other companies just marked the trees, never knocked on the door, and one sent us someone else's bid. We feel we got the right company for the job and will use this company again.

Bob Lester's Tree Service Inc. called the night before they were scheduled to do my job and canceled. They said they were going to call back to reschedule, but they never did. I was very disappointed. I had three estimates and his was the best. I was really disappointed. They're very pleasant, but they're not reliable. They were professional and gave me a written estimate, but they didn't follow through with anything. I had no chance to hire another company to do it, because I had to go away for a couple of weeks soon after that and they only called to cancel at the last minute.

Bob showed up for an estimate & gave a very detailed explanation of exactly what his crew would accomplish. They did arrive within 48 hours and cut down 2 dead trees, removed another dead tree that had fallen overnight, & cleaned up remanents of a past tree sevice that didn't entirely finish the job. Two days later one operator brought stump grinding equipment and make short work of two huge stumps with no problems. Bob & his crew were prompt, professional, friendly & cleaned up before leaving.

I was unable to be on my property when Mr. Lester came to inspect for the estimate. However, we talked by phone as he walked around, and by the conversation, we were able to agree on what had to be done. The team arrived on time. The work was completed in a timely manner. The dead wood was cleared away.

Very professional, Careful and detailed. They took their time and were professional. They went out of their way to be sure we had the yard looking as close to the way it had been when they were done. Would highly recommend them. This is the second time I've used Bob Lester and he is great to deal with.

They were on time, very informative about what to look for when shopping for a service, followed up quickly, and did what they said they would do. We have recommended them to our neighbors.

It went great. The yard was so clean when they finished and the work was so well done that a number of neighbors asked who had done the job. When I mentioned the price they were really impressed as they gotten some huge quotes for a similar amount of work.

Bob Lester is a truly knowledgeable professional. He came to evaluate the dead oak that we called about and checked the yard for any other potential problems. He made suggestions and explained the reasons. He gave a very fair estimate and when we agreed on the contract he took care of the permits and scheduled a date for the work to be done. His crew arrived promptly on the day scheduled and worked through the day. Due to the amount of daylight, the crew was not able to grind the stumps that day but they came back later in the week, completed the job and cleaned up. The work was well done, Bob was great to work with and we will definitely call him first when we need tree work done.

I used Bob Lester's Tree Service several years ago and thought they did a great job. I had two large pine trees in my front yard that were dying, it was winter time (January) and snow and ice were on the pine trees weighing them down, pulling the roots out of the ground. I thought I might have a hard time getting someone to come out & take the trees down since it was very cold outside, but Bob Lester's service came right out and took the trees down for a great price.l

There was a bit of confusion about how the job would be staged at the beginning, but that was resolved and the work was performed well. The price was reasonable, and Mr. Lester voluntarily trimmed several other trees at no additional cost. The crew did a good job cleaning up and restoring several areas that were disturbed.

The crew came and did a fantastic job topping, thinning and trimming back the trees. They were very responsive to any request I made of them. The yard was cleaned up well of all the debris. I recommend this contractor for the quality and price of the service.

Everything went great. Bob came out and gave a pretty competitive estimate. I felt pretty good about Bob and his company, so I decided to go with him. Everything was performed in accordance with what was agreed upon in the contract. Bob went out of his way to make sure everything was completed to my satisfaction and for this reason I will use him again and I would recommend him to others as well.

On Sunday morning we woke up to a huge tree limb laying on our house. Bob Lester was the only emergency tree service out of the 5 that I called that responded early that morning. Within one hour Bob arrived at the house and removed the limb from the roof to make sure no leaking would occur in case of rain. The rest of the tree was taken down the next day. Would highly recommend.
