Terminix - Owings Mills -Termite & Pest Control

I was doing their service for 2 years and at some point I switched it to a quarterly service as there wasn’t anything that they did and there were no issues at that point. They were always there when they said they would be there. The only issue that I’ve had sometimes was coordinating them being here when I was at home but other than that they were fine. The people that came were very professional. I felt comfortable and safe having them in my home. They are overall a good company to work with. I was happy with their service.

They do a professional job on the bait systems. However, their marketing is too aggressive. They installed the bait system and still maintain it well but they send unnecessary letters regarding the systems. I understand they are trying to up sell additional services but they send letters that are inappropriate.

I first hired them about a year ago and I've not had an problems with the service

I like the people who service my house and the products are very good. The technician, Tameka, who comes to my house is very good.

My overall experience with them has been excellent. They're responsive and punctual. I'll continue to use their services in the future.

They do a very good job. I have had them for about year.

They did a really good job in taking care of the ants and termites. When the ants went away, I felt like I didn't need their service any longer. The still come twice a year and check for termites. So far we haven't had any further infestations.

Prior to settlement (late December), termite damage was found in the garage of my house by both a home inspector and by Terminix. The termite plan was still in effect and was not due to expire for several months. I attempted to contact this local Terminix office on several occasions to find out how to get the damage repaired per their guarantee. I also wanted to talk to them about getting the plan transferred to my name and to extend it for another year. After many attempts, a technician came out and verified that it was indeed termite damage and Terminix was indeed responsible for fixing the damage. After several more weeks of not being able to contact this local Terminix office, I tried calling the Corporate office. On one particular occaision I asked to speak to someone in a managerial position so that I could register a complaint. At that point I was hung up on. Finally after several more attempts I finally was able to get a number for Terminix's Executive Services office. They were finally able to convince the local office to contact me to get the issue resolved. Even at that it took almost two to three weeks of my calling Executive Services every 3 or 4 days before the local branch finally called me. To make a long story short, it has been 6 months and the damage still is not repaired. However, the past month of so of the delay has been trying to find a time when I am available for the contractor to come out and fix the damage. Still, there is no way that it should have taken this long and there is no way that I should have had this amount of trouble getting the local office to return my calls and emails. Once this damage is fixed, I will be contacting one of Terminix's competitors to provide termite protection for my home.

I like their service. I like the fact that when I call them they come out and they take care of things. I don’t like their contract system. I get confused about what is covered and what isn't covered because there are two different contracts. One of them is for the general house and one of them is for termites. They send me bills for both the contracts, and it is under the same account number. It is really confusing. Their billing system really is poor.

They are hard to get hold of. The first time that they sent somebody, he drove into the driveway, turned around, and drove back out. They guy never came in the house but turned in the paper work that he had been here. It took us 4 calls before I got a supervisor to deal with it. I am hoping the supervisor might have fired that person by now. I do not have any complaints about the quality, they finally did their job. The person they did send out finally was a very senior person that had been in the business for 30 years and gave excellent customer service but they were making up for definitely a bad one.

They are fine and as we live in California they are pretty consistent.

I have a contract with them for annual check ups. I have not had any issues with them.

They have been doing wonderful. They stopped our ant infiltration right away. They are also very professional and punctual.

I have been using them for 3 years. They were supposed to come in May when we were about to move so I put my service on hold so that I can transfer it to Colorado where I am moving to. I don’t remember the price; I am on a contract with them. They have been easy to work with. They are very professional. They have taken care of any problems we had inside the house and outside the house. I don’t know if it is the same people that come out or different because I don’t see them. They come when I am not at home. It is just an outside sweep so I don’t have to be there. I am pretty sure the price is reasonable because we have continued to be with them and I don’t remember what it is and I think it is pretty good.

They are okay overall. Their termite treatment and extermination is very good, but for rodents I guess the mice are too smart for the traps. The baby mice have been caught, but the older ones seem to be over smart.

They only come in the home if they see anything on the outside. I got the termite contract just to make certain my house stays termite free. They came in the home initially to make sure there was no termite infestation. If there are no termites, they will award you the contract. Anything that goes wrong from this point, Terminix is responsible. The guy who came to do the evaluation on my home was very knowledgeable, and very easy to talk to. He was able to answer questions. He also sent e-mails to follow up to see if I had any more questions. I was satisfied with the agent who came out, but I can't speak for the whole company. I did some research and found out that the contract I have and is very affordable, and I know a lot of others were charging a lot more. He kept his appointment as he should. The price is excellent, for what is covered.

They came, did their business, and left. They have done a good job for me. I would use them again in the future.

We have not had any problems with them. They always call before they come, which is great. They are very nice and very professional during their appointments.

We like the fact that the contract guarantees that as long as you keep using their services and inspections, Terminix will pay for any damage to your home from termites. We highly recommend them...they are professional and explain things and they don't pressure you.

They’ve been reliable and consistent and they come once a month. When we first contacted them a number of years ago we had a severe meal moth problem in the house. They took care of that and kept coming back until it was gone. We kept them on for regular monthly visits. That has kept everything at bay; we haven’t seen any other problems. They are doing what they are supposed to do. We don’t have any bugs; I don’t know if that’s because we have them or just because we don’t have any bugs.

They came in about two or three weeks ago and we are in a quarterly program with them. They charge us $107 each visit which is fine and we would use them again in the future.

I was very pleased with them. They were very nice and polite; they even called me ma'am.

I thought that I might have termites and called them. They went through the house, the basement, all up in the ceiling and through the little cracks outside. They did an excellent job looking at the pavers to see what was going on.

I've been using their services for two years. They keep their appointments very well. The quality of their service is excellent. I will continue to use their services in the future.

They have been fine and we haven’t had any problems.
