Description of Work: "They insulated my attic. It was supposed to be one and a half day job but took them for 3 days. They said the machine didn't work right. First of all, they didn't show up at an appointed time and they came a few hours late after I called the office. |They completed the work anyway, but made a crack on the ceiling. They repaired it after 6 weeks. I had to call them several times while I didn't get even a call back from the project manager. The office people sounded nice and responsible whenever I called, but they just couldn't get in touch with the project manager. |The only person reliable was Fransois, the sales person, who took care of fixing the ceiling and follow up appointment while it really wasn't his job. He was the only one who answered my call and responded right away. I give a credit to Francois. But I will not use this company again, not because they made mistakes ( they were probably not so professional on insulation work yet)but they were so bad at working together and contacting w each other which was so frustrating. "

Description of Work: We have used Terminix for many years originally for a problem with carpenter ants. We maintain a yearly service program with them and have had little issues with pests. They have been very responsive when we have had specific issues and have come out to do special treatments if needed between scheduled treatments.

TERMINIX VERY CAREFULLY INJECTED A CHEMICAL INTO THE YELLOW JACKET NEST. THE APPLICATION WAS COMPLETED FROM INSIDE OUR HOUSE, WITH ACCESS FROM OUR BEDROOM WINDOW. THE MEN WERE VERY CAREFUL WITH OUR BELONGINGS AND THE SPRAYING OF THE CHEMICALS.
Description of Work: TERMINIX REMOVED A HUGE MUD HORNETS NEST THAT WAS LOCATED OUTSIDE OF OUR BEDROOM WINDOW. THE NEST WAS OVERSIZED AND DANGEROUS. THERE WERE THOUSANDS OF HORNETS THAT LIVED IN THIS NEST. THEY ALSO SPRAY OUR HOME ANNUALLY FOR PESTS.

UP TO THIS POINT, AND AFTER 7 YEARS OF THIS SERVICE, NOT SURE I WOULD RECOMMEND SAME TO OTHERS. YEARLY COST IS MINIMAL BUT INITIAL TREATMENT IS VERY COSTLY AND VERY QUESTIONABLE. TERMINIX DOES WHAT THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO, JUST NOT SURE IT'S ALL WORTH IT, OR ARE THEY AFTER THE $$$.
Description of Work: TERMINIX PROVIDES US SERVICE WITH A YEARLY CONTRACT TERMITE PLAN. HAVE HAD THIS SERVICE SINCE 1998, BUT DON'T THINK THEY EVEN OFFER THIS EXACT PLAN ANYMORE. THEY CHECK TWICE YEARLY FOR ANY ACTIVITY AND TREAT IF NECESSARY. PLAN PROTECTS US AGAINST DAMAGE TO THE HOUSE STRUCTURE AND CONTENTS.

DIDN'T DO A VERY GOOD JOB ON THE ANTS. DID A FAIR JOB ON THE MOLD. THEY COULD NEVER GET MY ACCOUNT STRAIGHT FOR BILLING ON THE TERMITE CONTRACT. ENDED UP CANCELING THE CONTRACT. THEY WERE NOT RESPONSIVE AND NOT ORGANIZED ENOUGH TO STRAIGHTEN OUT MY CONTRACT.
Description of Work: INITIAL VISIT WAS FOR EXTERMINATION OF ANTS. ALSO HAD A MOLD PROBLEM IN THE BASEMENT TO WHICH THEY ALERTED US. ALSO WANTED TO ESTABLISH TERMITE SERVICE CONTRACT.
