Terminix - Owings Mills -Termite & Pest Control

Description of Work: Have had this contract for many years. After buying our house in 1976 we discovered we had termites. They took care of the original problem and we have kept the contract in force ever since. However they raise the renewal price EVERY year and we may soon decide they are not worth the money ( $228.00 last year), to come out and stick a stick in the ground. They also don't tend to call to ask about a good time to come out, they just show up.

Description of Work: Performed annual termite inspection and treated as needed.

Description of Work: We have been satisfied Terminix customers ever since we bought our house in the woods 15 years ago. We have a termite contract since we have a wood frame house in the woods, and a contract for interior and exterior pests, which is very comprehensive. When we suspect a problem with a specific pest, we contact Terminix and they have always been very responsive. We have never considered going to another company.

Description of Work: They tried to get me to sign a yearly contract which I didn't need. No termites were found and I had them termite proof my home because I had a big log pile in my backyard with termites. I learned later I shouldn't have to do this again for about 10 years. Description of Work: We used Terminix for many years. If the service person was diligent, then the service was good. But too often the service persons were not completely doing their job. When the price went up the last time, I decided to switch and found a better deal on Angie's List. When I called them to cancel service, they were then willing to give me a deal. I do not appreciate this kind of pricing or policy.

Description of Work: I have been using Terminix (termite bait system)for over five years, and have been satisfied (so far no signs of termite infestation anyway). Can't say how they compare with other termite control companies.

Description of Work: They came when I said not to, bcs I would not be there to let them have access to the back yard, or doorways. So they were not able to treat. Then they charged me for the service that was obviously not done. Then I called to tell them so. This has happened 3 times. This more recent time, they made another appointment, and this time, I ws home and waiting for them. Then never came or called. I called to tell them so, and they said they were there. I explained that that could not have been so, bcs I was home and listening and watching for them by the sliding glass window, and further, they could not access the back yard without my letting them in. This recent time, when they finally did come and treat, they sprayed for centipedes as always, and I have had to kill more centipedes since they were here, than ever before... sometimes 3-5 a day. I'm looking for a recommendation for someone else.
