Due to being out of town and unable to communicate face-to-face and show them what we wanted done, there was some confusion with the contract and what exactly the wording of the contract meant. However, Sheldon & Sons has excellent customer service and worked with us to resolve any outstanding issues from the early miscommunication. They clearly took pride in their work.

Making a decision to paint the kitchen cabinets and the kitchen walls and the hallway at the same time was a little overwhelming. It took a long time to decide on the right white for the cabinets (I kid you not here are a MILLION shades of white) and then the walls (even more colors to choose from) and then the hallway (not too bad since it matched the kitchen color on the chart) but there was never any decision making about who would paint. Sheldon and Sons painters have painted multiple parts of the our house from my husband?s office to the deck surrounding the entire house (twice the last time with special paint and always with a power wash) to the house itself and the patio furniture, Sheldon and Sons was the go to people. From the estimator to the painters inside and out it was a great experience. All the painters were professional as well as kind and patient as they completed the jobs. The painters who did the deck just plain enjoyed eithers company worked like one person. The painter who just completed the kitchen was extremely neat in all he did in the house to remove cabinets, sand them then repaint all in the house without a bit of mess outside his work space. He was so polite and careful with all the furniture that I was very impressed (so ask for Walter). Seriously no matter who you get as your painter from Sheldon and Sons you will be pleased, impressed and happy with the outcome. Oh and you will appreciate the price for the product you will get.

I could not be more pleased with the experience of doing business with Sheldon & Sons. The estimator was pleasant, prompt, and thorough -- he answered every question I had. The office staff were delightful, easy to get along with, always friendly and courteous. But the painters who did the work were truly a "Dream Team." I am extremely particular and have always done my own interior painting, so I was reluctant to hire anyone. But Sheldon did the job faster and, frankly, better than I would have. The quality of the work is excellent, and the painters were so conscientious about cleaning up that they swept, vacuumed, and backed out the door on hands knees, wiping the hardwood floor! Now, that's beyond good service! I would recommend Sheldon, without any reservation, and would hire them again.

Fantastic top to bottom service. A large team came and painted our whole house in one day before we moved in. They came back promptly and patched up one area that wasnt finished to our satisfaction. Sheldon & Sons is our go to painter from now on.

Fence: Began work as soon s the weather warned. They were finsihed in about five days. Excellent job of prining and painting. Pillars: This was a tricky job becuase the interior concrete rrepair work on the exposed bricks had to be specially mixed because of the age of the brick and mortor.) They folowed our specificatinos to a tee. The columns, now mewly stuccoed look great. Workmen were competent and pleasent. Cleaned up every day and at the finish. this is the third time we have used Shedlon and Sons. Our historic church, First Unitarian , is located in downtown Baltimore at the corner of Charles and Franklin. (mailing address is #1 Hamilton) You are welcome to come by and see the results.

They were great. He was polite, professional, fantastic and did everything in four hours.

They were good and they did a very good job. They were very professional, on time, and the price was competitive.

The entire project took approximately 4 weeks. Sheldon & Sons was on site every day. Sam supervised the painting crew. He was very thorough, detail oriented and a pleasure to work with. They cleaned up the job site at the end of each day. Scott Sheldon was always available with any questions we had about the work. He backed their work with a 3 year warranty for cracking & peeling paint. We would recommend Sheldon & Son Inc. We would not hesitate to use them for future projects.

We were originally scheduled for 2 days being on 11/20 (Thursday) but the painters ran late on another job. I was notified that it would be Friday to begin and finish on Monday. I called to let them know that this was a concern. We would not be able to really use the rooms including the kitchen over the weekend since we had packed up breakables and movables. Also, the dog would need to be boarded for additional days. On Friday, we were surprised when they showed up with eight painters and finished in little over half a day. The painting was fine but the service was exceptional. It is unusual to find that level of concern with customer service.

Arrived promptly as promised. Went over project and proposal before beginning work. Explained potential problem areas and came to agreed upon solutions. Crew moved and covered furniture and covered floors. Paint job was neat and well done. Foreman insured that entire crew was respectful of the home and home owner. Crew requested home owner inspection before leaving and corrected an area of concern without hesitation. Entire job took 6 hours, but crew took few breaks including lunch. Very well organized operation. Put furniture back in place. Used homeowners vacuum for clean up and missed a small area of clean up as well as failed to replace one of three window blinds that had been removed, but I was overall very satisfied with the work, professionalism and courteousness of the crew. Left surplus paint for home owner's use.

Price was very good. I used them because my realtor recommended them. The work performed was excellent. There was one issue with the work which owner promptly came out, evaluated, and sent someone out to fix it. I would definitely use them again. Only thing I would change is the guy who did the painting work for me clearly expected a tip which made me very uncomfortable. I did not tip and I let Sheldon & Sons know and they told me that their workers should not be doing that. I think it just happened to be the guy...i.e. not representative of the company itself. Not a big deal. The 2nd painter who came out did not linger for a tip.

Sheldon and Son’s came out and gave us an estimate of $4,700. We were shocked it was so low and a little suspicious. Maybe they didn’t mean the whole house. But they did. They got the job done fast and with relatively little mess given how much peeling paint there was to deal with. It’s a year and a half later and no peeling or problems at all. We were completely satisfied.

It was very nice. We asked for the estimate in the fall of 2013 and came out promptly. They held to the original estimate when they came out to do the work. The quality was very good. They were quick and neat. The two gentlemen were very pleasant to interact with. The price was reasonable. I would recommend them.

It was great. Their team is really professional. They know their product and come with the right tools. For example, they won't put flat paint in the family room and put something that's more durable. The clean up is perfect. We have used them for 6 or 7 years.

I was satisfied with the jobs that they did. The painter did nice work. They were nice and so friendly. One the shutters split and I called them to see if they could come to look at it to see if it needed to be repaired or replaced. I told I was willing to pay for the work. They were uncooperative. The owner was going to come out to look at the shutter. They called the morning he was supposed to come and said he could come and would come later in the fall. It was obvious that they didn't want to deal with it. I would not use them or recommend them. 11/19/14 Since my initial review, they came and got the shutter, repaired and repainted it at no cost to me. I will now be changing the grades I had left for them.

It was pretty good. They were courteous. They did nice sharp lines. We changed paint colors and they didn't tell us that we should have put primer on first. They cleaned up very good. They are expensive.

They were working on a very tight schedule but agreed to schedule which they had trouble adhering to because of holidays and problems with their entire crew showing up. Very responsive to any issues we raised. Very nice people, very easy to deal with.

They knew I had redwood siding and the paint was coming off. I bought some of the paint myself. On the can it said that the redwood siding should be sealed with oil based paint so it won't bleed. They wouldn't agree to that. The woman was nasty. I wasted 3 weeks of my time. They preferred to return the $500 rather than do what the information on the can said to do. The estimator was very nice.

It went very nicely. They were meticulous. They took good care of things. They asked questions on what we perferred. There were two painters. The clean up was good from the beginning to the end.
