We met with Scott Sheldon to get an estimate for patching holes in our ceiling and wall made by our electrician in order to run wiring for a new light fixture. He was friendly and competent, and assured me we'd have an estimate by the end of the next business day. While a pleasant and prompt follow-up email was received promising the estimate by separate email, no estimate came. This morning Scott called before 9 am to say his company could not handle our job but he recommended some other person do it, provided his contact phone number, and proceeded to announce that he'd given our number to this other person, and that we could expect a call from him. I was appalled by this utterly unprofessional move. At no point did we give Scott permission to give our number (and address too? Who knows?) to a third party. If Scott wanted to provide us with a subcontractor's information to use or not as we wished, that's one thing. However, handing it to someone without our consent is quite another. Needless to say, we shall not be using this subcontractor, about whom we know nothing, though he is not to blame for Sheldon and Sons' unprofessional conduct. We will be hiring a different professional who came highly recommended by people we trust and provided us with a proper estimate.

Sheldon and Sons did an amazing job on my kitchen. I chose to not only paint the kitchen walls but paint the original kitchen cabinets instead of getting brand new cabinets. I’m glad I did because the way the cabinets were painted made my kitchen look brand new with only half the cost. The crew was incredibly friendly and professional. I felt very comfortable with them working in my home. Everything was done in a timely manner with both quality and efficiency. I am very happy with the work and will definitely be using them again.

Walter is the most meticulous and perfectionist painter ever! I sustained fireplace soot damage to walls and ceiling and he made all look brand new! Even places I didn't notice, his eagle eye caught all subtle color differences. He is amazing. Gals on the phone - Nancy and Sandy - are very kind and efficient.

A Facebook Referral with pictures of cabinets and kitchen taped and plastic-sheeted is what prompted my call. Scott Sheldon gave me an estimate, it was the 2nd lowest. He explained that the cabinets would be sprayed. Walt, the painter, was punctual and very professional. After 5 days, the cabinets looked wonderful, however there were 3 different surfaces, the doors were sprayed-some of it silky smooth, some of it gritty, the cabinet frames were brushed, silky smooth, but with brush marks visible, and the large expanses of flat sides of the cabinets were roller painted which yielded an orange-peel surface. We did get a partial refund after I requested an adjustment. My advice, be sure to inquire how the cabinets would be painted. IF you can afford it, refacing would've looked better.

Sheldon and Sons does a terrific job, from the estimate (by the President of the firm), to the fast and efficient crew.

The office personnel were rude. I got an estimate and then I had to wait until a specific person could schedule the appointment. When I didn't hear from the scheduler, I called several times to try and reach her and she was either out of the office or not available. I didn't understand why the office manager who kept taking my messages for an appointment couldn't schedule the service. When I finally got a hold of her, she was unfriendly and dismissive. I thought her behavior was unwarranted as I didn't complain and tried to make polite conversation. There were three painters who came out to do the work. Overall, they did a good job and were very professional. We had our full bath, powder room and exterior door frame and windows painted. When the paint dried, I noticed some areas that needed to be touched up. The lead painter came back and addressed my concerns and touched up the areas and we were very pleased with the quality of the job.

The job was done very efficiently and looks great. They arrived promptly, were very polite, and treated the furniture carefully, cleaned up well and were generally helpful throughout the process.

Excellent quality. The only difficulty was scheduling because of weather & my being out of town frequently.

Awesome! The recognized that the deck is mahagoney and wouldn’t hold a solid stain. They worked w sherwin Williams to determine the best solution, and knocked it out.

Painting was done in a timely manner. They did an excellent job- very professional, thorough and a pleasure to work with. A few hiccups with the backsplash work but once done, looked great. I would definitely hire this company again. Very pleasant and easy working with them. Definitely willing to work to satisfy the customer.

Pretty good. Just a few small issues about areas that needed touching up because of insufficient coverage. I and my next door neighbor did have a professionalism issue. When the two painters needed to rinse out their equipment, they didn't ask me where either of my two outdoor water faucets were located. Instead, they used the outdoor faucet on my neighbor's house, waking her up and making her husband very angry. To the question about whether or not I would hire them again, my response is actually "perhaps," depending on the options available.

I was on a really tight time crunch and they were gracious enough to fit me in. They were punctual and very professional. The painter they sent was very nice and answered any questions I may have had. The job looks great and I'm planning on using them again in the near future.

OK. They did a good job but their rates were higher than other bids.

We had a very good experience with them. They were here for 3 days. They were very professional. They were prompt. They showed up every morning. They were easier to communicate with and worked really well. They did their work very efficiently. I would use their services again.

Excellent job. Technician made extra runs to pick up needed supplies to create perfect outcome. House looks great.

Couldn't have gone any better!Technician Tim and helper Paul were very cooperative,courteous and efficient at their work.Caulking around windows and sills was "straight and tight".Painting of window frames around surrounding glass was "crisp and straight lined.Paint was applied evenly on all work with good coverage.Over all a great job all around!I sincerely offer my recommendation to anyone seeking quality paint work to use Sheldon and Sons .You can't go wrong!

I haven't yet contracted any services with them. They were on time. It was an easy, effortless estimate process. We may end up using them but we just haven't gotten around to it. The price was fair and reasonable. They were really good at responsiveness. We'll probably end up using them but for the amount of painting we're getting done requires the proper amount of preparation and scheduling and that just hasn't been possible yet. They were great and we are still in talks with them. We send them emails and they respond right away.

They are like super expensive. I probably wasn't going to use them. I am only painting 3 windows and 4 doors and they wanted like $5,000. I was like really. Besides being expensive, the estimate was good, it was detailed. They were very responsive. I would use them again for estimates. They are a little bit expensive. I would probably not use them but if I needed a comparison I would throw them in there knowing they are going to be to high.

Very well. They worked as a team and did a nice job. Hard working and very pleasant to have around. There were a few minor issues but they came back and fixed those quickly. I'd definitely recommend this company, in fact I've already done so.

Great! They accommodated my limited time frame and brought in an additional painter to complete the job even faster than promised. The office staff and estimator were great to work with, and the painters were professional and competent.

They did an excellent job at a reasonable price. I will use them again.
