Description of Work: I was very happy with the service I received from Sheldon and Sons and plan to use them next time I need painting done. They repainted our basement and I thought the price was reasonable for the job they completed.

Description of Work: I needed cut work done in my kitchen, touch up and some repair work too. It was done nicely! Plus ceilings painted in both baths and cut work done in one of the baths. Again it was done nicely. |My only problem was one of the men cleaned his brushes in our new kitchen sink and did not asked permission were as the other gentleman asked if we had a sanitary tub he could use (professionalism). I did not say anything to them about it because my wife was around and she would have blown a gasket. They did professional work and I am very picky!

Description of Work: We purchased our home, a 12 year-old rancher, and needed the ENTIRE interior repainted before we moved in any of our belongings, including all the ceilings ( mostly 10 ft high) I chose Sheldon and Sons because of their great reviews on this site--- my phone calls were returned promptly, everyone was very courteous, and Paul met us at the house to discuss paint colors, etc and gave us an estimate. I appreciated the education in paint choices!!! Over the next week or so, Roger and his team of 2 or 3 painters would arrive in the morning, patching and painting room after room, always protecting floors and cabinets with dropcloths, then would lock up the house for the day when they were done. They did 3 bdrms, den, DRm, kitchen, 2 bathrms, laundry room, hallways, and foyer---the house looked amazing, and we never could have accomplished what these fine people did, if we had attempted it ourselves!! I did a "walk-through inspection" after they finished, found just a few spots missed, and they promptly came back and did the touch-ups--then said to let them know if they needed to come back again. Sheldon & Sons were amazing--- thank you!!!!!!!!

Description of Work: I had to come on and update!! I'm so sorry Sheldon and Son's! It looks like Angie's list never sent them the email from me to request services. I didn't want to give them an F for not contacting me but if you write N/A on everything and then put an F for one thing - they won't let you give them less than an F! Anyway, we now have an appointment for an estimate. I'll keep you posted.

Description of Work: Sheldon and Sons has maintained our deck for about 10 years. This year I learned of a product that is used on decking at marinas in Florida. I asked them to check it out and see if they thought it would work on my deck. The product is supposed to eliminate the need for sanding and restaining every couple of years. Scott and Jim spent 2 days sanding the deck down to bare wood in blistering heat. The product takes a bit longer to apply but dries in 30 minutes. The end result was perfect. It remains to be seen whether this product will eliminate further sanding/staining but I am pleased that Sheldon and Sons was willing to give it a try and that Scott and Jim were so meticulous in the process. While Scott and Jim were doing this work, I had a leak in my kitchen ceiling. They quickly repaired the drywall and painted the ceiling while on site. Sheldon and Sons also repainted the interior of my home last winter after we had damage from ice damming. Sam was in charge of that project and did a remarkable job keeping the painters on target and following directions from me long distance. I was living at our place in Florida while this project was in progress. Per my recommendation, my son and daughter in law used Sheldon and Sons for some painting in a house they just moved into in May. I highly recommend them for their professionalism, punctuality, and care they take of your property while they are on site.
