Description of Work: Steve was awesome! Not only did he install a beautiful gas fireplace for us, but he had his team correct a previous gas line installation that another contractor had installed incorrectly for a new gas oven. He also cleaned our old fireplace doors and when they were reinstalled they looked like new!

Description of Work: Installed a LP manifold in basement. Did all the necessary pipe work. Ran a long flexible pipe to the other side of the house for installation of a home backup generator, to be installed by another company. Purchase and installation of a gas fireplace. Once work began, Steve and his workers were very proficient and professional. At one point they even came out to fix an unrelated problem that a second contractor wasn't able to check in a timely manner. All-in-all, we were VERY pleased that we chose to use Steve the Fireplace Guy.

Description of Work: Kyle, from "Steve the Fireplace Guy" came out to my place to investigate why my gas fireplace was leaking gas. He identified the problem, helped me order a replacement part, and then installed it when the part arrived. Kyle was punctual, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and fixed my fireplace. Couldn't ask for more!

Description of Work: I'm not sure what is going on. Steve and his staff did a great job last year repairing our gas fireplaces and I recommended him to several neighbors. This year, when we had trouble with one of the fireplaces (through no fault of their work), we called three times over 3 weeks and we have not received a return call. So no service was provided, I can't even get a return phone call.

+ -1 moreWonderful experience. My husband wanted this done, but I was apprehensive and concerned about damage from the process. They did a great job and were delightful to work with. Courteous, respectful of our home and efficient. When we had another contractor look at the scope of work he lead to believe it was going to be a very difficult process with significant repair work necessary afterward. Steve and his crew were just great and found a way to do the work without cutting up our walls and ceilings as the previous contractor indicated would be necessary. We are totally satified.
Description of Work: Converted two wood burning fireplaces to gas logs. Cost includes the logs, gas company contact and gas line hookup, the labor and their being present when necessary county inspections occured.
