They came when they were supposed to and finished on time. Everything worked out perfectly. They try to give you a hard sell, you get money off if you sign up on the spot. That was the only thing I didn't like about it. But as far as the job they did a good job. The door has worked great and we have never had any problems. Our room has even been warmer since then.

I was introduced to Red Carpet Remodeling at a local home show. The gentleman called me within days after the show to confirm an appointment I had made when I was at the show. A consultant came to my house. He was very professional and knowledgeable about product options and the installation process. He created a design for the deck right there on the spot so I can visualize it on the back of my house. He also explained to me the energy savings of getting attic insulation. I was very pleased with the estimate and decided to trust Red Carpet Remodeling with my home after receiving a few more estimates. Within weeks the process began and I never felt like I had to chase them down. They were always there when they said they would be there. I am very pleased with the end result and I would definitely use Red Carpet Remodeling in the future.

It was a great experience. They were easy to deal with, and didn’t take forever to sell. They scheduled the work and were true to form; no delays. They finished the work when they said they would, and once the work was complete, they cleaned up so well that I couldn’t even tell that they were there. The windows are terrific!

They did an excellent job. They installed flooring that had to match precisely with an existing, old floor. It took about 3 months for the stain to settle for the end result, but it ended up matching perfectly, and the flooring seems to be good quality. Three years ago, and the floors still look great. We’re very impressed. We wouldn’t hesitate to deal with them again.

We recently completed our second home renovation project with Red Carpet Remodeling - replacing our old siding, capping trim, replacing the gutters and downspouts and soffit vents. From start to finish, my wife and I were extremely pleased with the quality of the products and high level of service provided by all involved in the process. Michael Del Sontro?s knowledge and experience with your products made it very easy to select colors and siding, and his ability to offer us no-interest financing made the decision to complete the project this year very simple.We were very impressed with how efficient the job was completed. On the start-day, Andy Jo and his crew were prompt and courteous in their arrival and the siding and materials arrived not too far behind them. Each morning, the crew arrived on time and the installers were polite, neat and cleaned the site daily. The work was finished in the time promised, and Andy oversaw the project until it was completed to our satisfaction. Andy was very knowledgeable and gave us status updates throughout the project. During the course of the residing he discovered that our original gable vent was decorative only. When installing the new vent he made it fully functional, and that was one of many contributions that demonstrated the professionalism of Red Carpet Remodeling team. The new siding has already gotten numerous compliments from my neighbors. Our home looks like a new house, and we can hardly wait to see a savings on our heating and cooling bills. We would highly recommend Red Carpet Remodeling.

They provided an estimate to replace 20 vinyl windows. The price was ridiculously expensive. Their presentation was high pressure and lengthy (hours!) They used all the regular sales tactics, which I hate. Though polished and extremely professional, it was very geared to make a sale....that night. They tell you that if you sign right now, they will give you a 10% discount. However, if you balk or say no, they drop it down, even days later. But the funny thing is that no matter how much they dropped the price, it was still higher than every other estimate I received....by several thousands. I suspect most of their sales come from those who call them first and sign that day or those who are willing to pay dearly for their red carpet treatment. I must admit that I believe they would have done an excellent job and would have provided excellent service, but the price was simply outrageous.

Mike Del Sontro, the salesman that we had, suggested a picture window and two side windows to replace our bay window in the kitchen and the effect is stunning. The work crew did the installations from 9:15 in the morning until 9:15 at night and cleaned up afterwards. Everyone was positive, courteous, friendly - they all reflected great pride in working for Red Carpet Remodeling. We certainly would use them again and have referred them to others.

The sales guy made a good presentation. He told us how the company owner had met with Traco and had been so impressed with the brand, quality etc etc that he was now only selling that brand. He went on to further articulate the quality by explaining each window came with a LIFETIME bumper-to-bumper warranty which included, among other things, free glass breakage replacement. In all, we were sold based on everything he was telling us, and the fact that this company was so confident in their windows they backed it with a LIFETIME warranty. Moving forward -- Red Carpet was suppose to coordinate with my alarm vendor for remove of the window contracts from the old windows and installation on the new. They didn't. After several discussions with Guy, he cut a check for the security company to come out and remedy the situation. Problem solved. When they replaced the windows in the kitchen, rather than replacing the frame which had metal backets in them to secure the (old) windows, they choose to take a short cut and cut out the brackets and fill the resulting holes with wood putty. Needless to say, they wood putty job they did on the windows looks like crap, is cracking and generally looks like something a total hack would do. I've communicated my unhappiness about this to them several times, without response. They email me a couple times a year asking for references - each time I tell them about the issues with the wood putty cracking and stuff, and each time they tell me they will have Guy reach out and make things right. Needless to say, my phone still hasn't rung. (I am more than happy to provide email proof of these conversations, if requested). I didn't know it at the time, but do now know, that the best companies don't simply shove fiberglass in the window frame, instead they take a few extra minutes to spray (low expanding) foam in the cavity to prevent air infiltration. As I've learned, fibreglass does not stop or prevent air movement. During a recent energy audit, the inspector noted my fairly new $20,000 windows were doing a great job however the frame and casing around those windows were severely leaking air - something that should of been taken care of during the installation. He event sent me pictures from his FLIR (thermal imaging device) along with multiple articles about window installation best practices. As a final blow, shortly after my windows were installed, Traco sold off their entire line of Sienna windows to another company, which promptly went out of business - thus my "lifetime" warranty is worth less than the paper it was printed on. In my searching around, it appears the assets of the bankrupt company, who purchased the Sienna window line, were purchased by yet another company, however it seems they will only honor Traco lifetime warranties for 1 year from date of installation. I emailed Red Carpet about this, and they confirmed I now am the proud owner of a expired 1 year warranty. In theory: $20,000 total cost on the promise of a high quality installation with a lifetime warranty on the windows. In reality: $20,000 total cost, on a well below average installation that fails to meet industry best practices, and a warranty that is no longer valid. Recommend, you think twice before considering this company.

Overall, the job was completed on schedule, at the agreed price, with high quality workmanship.

They gave us a range of estimates depending on what we wanted to done. The person who came out was very thorough and fair. They gave a little presentation. The only thing that turned us off was the fact that he wanted us to sign an agreement. We would have considered them if they hadn't done that but they said we would get this price if we sign today and if we don't them it would be more. I just didn't like that. We ended up having a couple of other companies from Angie's list to come over and give us an estimate and we ended up with one service provider to do the work for us. Their price was higher than what we ended up going with. They were very responsive.

The finished product looks very good. It took four months from the day we signed the contract/paid the deposit to complete the job. Very nice, friendly, polite people to deal with. Their communication, with the customer and with one another could use some work. Their workers would benefit from better supervision so that the customer does not have to bring to their attention mistakes, poor workmanship, etc. But they were more than willing to send men back several times to fix what hadn't been done either properly or neatly. But, judging by the other good reviews, perhaps these problems were not their norm.

I contacted Red Carpet Remodeling to schedule an in home estimate to replace a balcony door and some windows. I was contacted by someone from the company by email stating that they would contact me by phone to get an idea of what I wanted, which they did (no problems there). After talking with them they agreed to set up an in home estimate, I scheduled an appointment for the following evening. The person I spoke with informed me they would call me to confirm the appointment the next day. The next day it was approaching 6PM and I still have not heard anything from the company (no voicemail or email asking to reschedule or confirm). I called the main number to find out whether the appointment was still on, the person I spoke with on the phone did not have any information for me. After some more holding he informed me that a gentleman named Ken would call me right back after his meeting and that was all. Needless to say, the time for the appointment has come and gone. From my interactions with this company, it is clear that they are unprofessional and do not value their customers time. I can understand circumstances causing someone to miss their appointment and have to reschedule, however its pretty offensive to fail to contact someone twice in one day. If they are this lax to sell you something just imagine the service after they have already taken your money. I'm looking elsewhere.

Get additional estimates. The estimator visited our home. He was courteous, informative and professional. However, his written estimate for roof replacement ranged from 1.75 to 2.7 times greater than the other six estimates I obtained for the same materials and work requirements. This was after the 28 per cent discount. The Red Carpet estimate was not shared with other estimators.

I consider what we paid a great price for the value of the products we had installed. The additional insulating panals on the exterior walls and insulated windows have reduced our energy costs by about 50%. No doubt in my mind that this work will pay for itself in maybe 10 years, but best of all when we go to sell the house we have a superior looking home compared with other homes in our Townhomes in the development; which will again pay for the relatively small amount of money that we paid Red Carpet two years ago. I figue this is sort of a triple win, win, win situation. And finally there is a noticeable difference in the dampening of exterior noise levels also. Bob Holmes

He was pleasant and nice, but he was a little pushy. He said that if I went with them today they would give me so much off, otherwise the price was good for 30 days. They were the first vendor that I interviewed and I had a feeling that the price was kind of high. I didn't want to make a decision that night but he kept pushing and in the end I told him that I wasn't ready to make a decision. It wasn't a very good interaction and I didn't use them. The price was $400 more if I didn't get them that night. It was easy to get him to come out and he showed up on time. He came with a demonstration tape.

Excellent service. Prompt and punctual in design and estimates and final installation. Took great care while within house. Polite and responsive staff.

Reps (front office) were professional and knowledgable. Windows arrived in record time--2 weeks. Crew completed the job in one day and cleaned up flawlessly. Zero periphheral damage. The caulking was artful!!! I'll use Red Carpet again.

They were great. The service response time, response time to question, and the time to complete the job was great. The workers were great as well.

They told me that they had a really good product and that everything was great. They told me that they would completely remodel my home, yet it came up to half the price of my home. Their big selling point that attracted me initially was the fact that they offered financing. At the same time I got the quote they said financing doesn?t start until the job is done and that we could take it up to 18 months at 0% and after that whatever is not paid off will affect that day, and will be marked at almost 18%. All that financing information he gave me wasn?t exactly correct because it was a percentage and capped out. I wanted to do all my windows and siding and I wanted it to be all the same. They wanted to initiate windows on the main part of my house. They wanted over $36,000 for the windows alone. For bay windows they wanted over $5000. When I finally got the quote I was looking at different financial options and I stopped looking at it. They did not do any work for me. I was not at all happy with them.

They cleaned up after themselves. It looks great and looks like the house came. I am really pleased. I was actually deployed when they did the installation. They were professional. They all knew what they were doing. We had 3 windows replaced by a home improvement store and they were amateurs compared to these guys. It was fantastic and way better than the home improvement store. They were good really guys and you pay a little bit of premium on the windows. The quality was good and you get what you pay for.
