overall the work was completed on time and the price was fair.

Every time I call they say someone will call them back. They have never called me back after a week of calling.

The price was good, not the most expensive or the least expensive. The company's warranty was very important to us, so we went with a company that's been around for awhile and a product (GAF) that is excellent. It is beautiful. The workmen were wonderful. They were on time, efficient, polite. The job was done on time. They cleaned up thoroughly.

Step 1 in the process was to obtain the approval from the home owners association. I was under the impression this was to be handled by Red Carpet Remodeling. My HOA has very stringent rules and it did take longer than it should have for approval (almost 2 months). Part of that was my fault as a homeowner, as I didn't not get the right information for the board. Step 2 was to get the materials and supplies. I paid a deposit on August 1st. Since we had the HOA approval and the money for the supplies, I assumed the work would start within a couple of days. Step 3 was the work itself. The builder started on building the A-Frame for the new portico. It appeared the builder was a measure twice, cut one kind of guy and I was pleased with that. He was slower than I thought he should be but was glad he was taking his time to do a good job. The A-Frame was then placed on the house, plywood nailed in place and then things went downhill from thereThe builder did not put felt\tar paper down before attaching the shingles. When asked about it, he first lied and said it was there and then said: "Well it isn't going to leak". That is where the battle to get this job completed started. The shingles were completely removed and new ones put on. The first rain storm we had, the roof leaked between the new portico and the house. Step 4 was getting the sliding glass door installed and the vinyl work done. This work was done by another contractor. I have no complaints on the work completed by this group. Everything was done according to the contract and they even came back and checked a few things for us,. As well as installing a new porch light. Step 5 was making sure everything was completed. As we went through the walkthrough, we noticed the columns were uneven and not centered. This could not be fixed completely as the A Framewas not centered. However, Guy had a new group come out and level the columns and center them as much as possible. They workers also installed a new flashing and another set of shingles. While this project took way longer than anticipated (End of December) the job is completed to our satisfaction. Guy Reeser worked very hard at getting things corrected even double checked all work done to ensure we were satisfied. This is the second time I have used Red Carpet Remodeling for work and was very happy with the new windows we had installed. While I am disappointed in the amount of time this project took to get completed and the amount of time I spent, personally, getting this fixed, I was very satisfied with the finished project and the diligence from Red Roof to make sure it was to my expectations

The sunroom/playroom was originally a screened porch and previous owners had enclosed it but without the proper insulation. So, when we first moved in, the temperatures in that room were a bit extreme. The sales guy and technicians were all knowledgable. The technicians were able to back their truck right into the garage and pull their house into our attic opening through there. After the insulation was added, our electric bill was lowered by $100 on the worst months (heat and AC).

I called them several times and left them messages. They never call you back. I never want to deal with them anymore. Very poor communication

Timely estimate and installation on schedule

I purchased a "Big Deal" for $99 insulation for the first 250 sq. ft. My attic is about 800 sq. ft., so they applied the deal towards the total. Guy came out to the house within a couple of weeks of my initial contact to take a look and get some actual measurements. He was very prompt and very to the point. I didn't feel like there was any attempt at any over the top up-sell. he made some suggestions to raise the venting to the bathroom exhaust fans via flex-tubing and have it tacked up to the rafters. He put this in the work order to have done at the time of the installation. Within two weeks, the team was sent to the house to do their thing. They arrived about an hour into the 4 hour window, set everything up, did their thing, cleaned up and were ready for me to take a look within two hours of starting. I stuck my head into the attic and noticed the huge difference in amount of insulation (we started off with 3 inches, to which we added 14 more). I also noticed that I didn't see any of the flex tubing that had been promised. When I asked, one of the installers said that they hadn't been notified to do any such thing, however, they did take care to make sure that the existing tubing for the exhaust fans were properly connected (one was completely disconnected which i was aware of prior to their visit) and run all the way to the soffits. They left and I contacted Guy about the issue. He came out the next business day to inspect the job and notified me that his boss had notified him once I raised a flag that the team wouldn't be able to accommodate that part of the agreement. He personally brought flex tubing, got up in the attic and installed it himself, which no doubt was a MUCH harder job now that the insulation had already been put in. I greatly appreciate his going above and beyond to satisfy his customer. I will absolutely be calling on him again the next time I have a job that falls under his expertise!

I'm very pleased. I have a room in the back that stays cold in the winter and hot in the summer. After the attic insulation, I noticed it made a difference from 6 to 7 degrees to just a 3 degree difference. I wish I had done this earlier and perhaps will add another treatment if offered again for a thicker insulation.

We were very pleased with Red Carpet Remodeling. We met them at a home and garden show and I was apprehensive because they do many home improvement type jobs and I wanted a company which specialized in roofs. But their sales guy was very helpful and knowledgeable about roof replacement and he provided details which gave me comfort that he was more than a sales person, he actually spent time in the roofing business. Although we received slightly cheaper quotes, I felt more comfortable with Red Carpet because the process was soo well explained there was no guessing or hoping that things would turn out how I wanted. The installation was normal for a house of our size. Including the mess of removing cedar shake, they were complete in 4 days and did a tremedous job. One note of advice for those looking to replace a roof: our only regret was the color of roof we chose. We wanted a very dark grey and thought we chose one. But it's much lighter than we wanted, and wished we had chosen black. But after a few months we've gotten used to the lighter color and it's nothing we think of. But I would recommend spending time looking at other houses and be sure you select the color you want from houses in your area, not based on brochures or websites.

The work went quickly and cleanly and they did exactly what we bargained for.

The service was fine. They put rulers in so you know exactly what you got. They showed me the depths of the insulation and made sure that I was happy with the work they did. They were also clean and punctual. Everything went well overall!

They arrived on time, they were very professional and careful to cover the stairs and hallway. This services was perform in a timely manner and the workers were very polite.

Work was not performed and I lost the $99.00.

Red Carpet Remodeling was supposed to come to my house and install blown in insulation above our garage. I did contract them to do some other work, house. However, they NEVER installed the insulation (it was an Angie's list purchase), which was supposed to be done on the date of the other project. Moreover, the entire reason they were there was to perform this service... Subsequent emails to them did not result in a refund, or the installation of the insulation. Basically, the took my money and never delivered. I have a serious issue with providing anyone a good recommendation when they have effectively committed a fraudulent transaction by not providing a service I have paid for. Remember, it's the small things that indicate big problems.

It was absolutely wonderful. They delivered the shingles and then had a crew of guys that came and took of the old roof. They didn't kill any of my plants and replaced the roof very well! We didn't have any leaks or problems with the new roof when the next storm came.

It went really well. They did an excellent job. It was a big job too. I found out they could do all kinds of other work and we had them do other work too. They were honest and told me that I didn't need the insulation and applied my Big Deal to the other work. They showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves. They explained things carefully. I got them started and I had to go to work. They called later to make sure I was happy with their work.

They came and they did what they said they would. I really liked their work a lot. They did a good job cleaning up after themselves as well.

The insulators were prompt and professional. They cleaned up very well.

Sorry no good with name but I call Guy and he had his 2nd hand man call me back and so we set up a time to meet and he was on time and we talked about what my need are. I did get more work out of it but it was some thing I was going to do anyway and they knew how to do it and at the end it is a great job money in heating and cooling.

They were pretty good. There were some delays and some issues. I would use them in the future.

They provided me with an estimate but I felt it was expensive and went with another provider.

It was done very well. They got the work done all in one day, it was more timely than I thought!

Over a year ago we used Red Carpet to replace our windows. We had a good experience overall, and my only critique was that they try to push you into signing on the spot when they provide the estimate. That being said, we had them replace our windows and thought to use them to replace our front door.... The same salesman came to quote the door, and I liked the fact that he didn't even bother to give me the run down of the company (we had used them already). It was very low key, not pushy, and enjoyable so we agreed to let them replace our door. That is where the problems started. It took several weeks and several phone calls from us to have them come measure or door before it could be ordered. It was if we were forgotten about. When someone finally came to measure the door he stated that what the salesman said would happen could not in fact take place exactly as specified. I would think that the salesman should be more knowledgable and know what to look for before quoting. One of the owners or managers (unsure which) came out to assess things, and after a brief phone call was able to ease my concerns and assured me that the work would be excellent. He also advised that the storm door was available in off-white to match our existing trim, another thing that the salesman should have thought to mention. The install finally came and went fairly smoothly while my wife worked from home one day. When I came home however I noticed that while the door was off-white, the trim pieces that they added were bright-white making for an awkward look. Why convice me that an off-white door would work better only to use bright white trim? That stung even more when the owner or manager advised that the pieces ARE available in off- white as well. He did however say that they would come out and replace all of the trim pieces to match the door. Then there were crickets. No phone call to set up a time, just silence until we finally had to reach out yet again. I felt like I was yet again slowly dragging myself and this company through finishing our project. They did finally schedule a time for the work to be finished, and agreed to complete it first thing in the morning to minimize the impact it would have on my and my wife's work schedules. I was told that the job would take no longer than two hours, and that the worker would be here promptly at 7 AM; he did arrive very shortly after 7 AM. But yet another problem has arisen with this already frustrating home improvement project. Because as I'm typing this it is almost 11 AM, four hours after the one person started working on this project. My boss agreed to let me arrive a little late this morning, around 930, but he did need me to complete my own work this morning. Now I have to use at least a half day's vacation time, and my work load will be backed up this afternoon. That is if he finishes the job sometime soon.... We did have one good experience with this company, but after the second time I will not be back.

It went very well, they come when promised, had a professional crew, did good work. There was a small leak that was promptly fixed once identified. The company owner is involved in the projects they do and truly ensure that the provide quality service and product. Overall I had a great experience with them.
