Todd Kidder came out and was very knowledgeable of the process and products. I met with 3 other companies and I felt the most comfortable and trusting with Todd and Red Carpet. I believe I got the best value for my money as well. They were not the highest and they were not the lowest quote that I received. The installation was extremely fast. They started and finished my project in 2 days including removal of all work materials. I received a follow up call from Red Carpet making sure everything went well and if I had any problems or questions they could address. Overall it was a smooth, quick, and comfortable experience. I have recommended them to my neighbors and will use them again pending any future need.

I would give them higher grades if i could.

There were no troubles with scheduling. When they arrived, they were here for about 30 or 40 minutes. I ended up not needing the insulation. They came out and took a look. They were honest and explained that even if I did need the insulation, I would need more of an amount than the deal offered. However, the depth on the insulation was fine and wouldn’t make a difference. They said they could not refund the money, but I could use the cost toward a credit for any other services with them. I have not yet contacted them to use the credit toward any other service.

Worked with Todd Kidder to design a great patio. We had to meet several times to get all the details correct because I'm very picky & had a certain look I wanted to achieve. The patio build itself went great, the workers worked in in freezing weather for a week. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Overall I'm very happy.

We had all of our windows replaced. It was the most positive experience we have had with home improvement. From our 1st meeting with Jack, to the final cleanup, we couldn't be happier.The windows look fantastic!

I had to contact Red Carpet remodeling for some warranty work in Nov 2013 since we were selling our home. Jack Kidder the company owner took care of our needs quickly and professionally. It was one last thing to worry about as we were selling our home. They did a great job and had it done in one day. They cleaned up well and hauled all the old windows away.

The entry way comes in one big piece. We chose Pro Via. After the delivery about a month the door Red Carpet came out and replaced the builder grade original. In addition they replaced the decorative trim on top of the door and rotted wood from the old door's leaks. The decorative trim on the top of the door they very nicely brought it over a couple of weeks early so I could paint it before they installed it. Easier to paint on the floor than standing on a ladder. Painting was not included in the price because there was so little as the entry way came already factory painted. Easy for me to paint and I'm sure less expensive. I didn't cost out painting. Red Carpet gave me the paint color from Duron that matched. And it did perfectly.

It went very well. That was done in a few hours. They did excellent work.

Great. They promptly scheduled an appointment for an estimate and the price was right. The technician came on time and did the work as promised.

We were very pleased that's why we contracted with them again. We were extremely pleased.

The salesman gave us a very rehearsed and long speech about all of the different aspects regarding the quality of their workmanship and window products. I had previously explained that we have already had the rest of the windows replaced and are only interested in seeing the specific numbers regarding the job: price, energy efficiency, time required, etc. He appeared to understand, but after 45 minutes he continued on with speech. At one point he took out his sample window to jump on it to show the strength. Finally, he began looking for a wall outlet to plug in a heat lamp. Again, I interrupted and asked for the simple numbers regarding energy efficiency. I told him that the numbers will mean more to me if I am able to compare them to what I know about our other new windows. He then told me the numbers and insulted windows and my decision-making process. Finally he gave me the quote for replacing the huge picture windows. It was more than I expected, so I asked about other options, such as sliding-glass doors or bay window. He was non-committal about either option and we were not sold on his product or service.

This is a revision of my previous excellent rating, so I will begin by stating the reason for this revision: The deck is now a SERIOUS SAFETY HAZARD and RED CARPET does not respond to phone calls or CERTIFIED LETTERS THAT WERE SENT AND RECEIVED. My Original Response before Revisions: Though we had several delays--the project started with one guy breaking his ankle the first day, then many days of heavy rain, followed by a glitch because our house construction did not allow for attaching a new deck per current county code--overall we are very pleased with our new deck. Whenever we called attention to a problem during the construction, it was corrected. Vince, our salesperson, worked with us on changing the railing style after original contract signing. The company vice-president provided whatever additional documents and photos were requested by our HOA. Sean, whose exact job title I don't remember but who was the head construction guy, maintained a friendly and professional attitude with us throughout the project. When the issue of our house construction not allowing for attaching the new deck per current county code, Sean took it upon himself to call the county inspection office to determine exactly what would be required by our county code to make the deck free-standing. Sean and his team moved our heavy gas grill off the old deck and onto the new one when work was completed. Daily construction material cleanup might have been better, but the dumpster trailer was not available every day, so materials were left on the lawn at times. The end-of-job punch list took longer than expected to complete, but it is now done and we are happy with the results. Thank you, Red Carpet, for our beautiful new deck! I'm sure this one will outlive us!

Made a 1/3 deposit upon initial contract on 3/31 - requested cancellation of the contract due to scheduling issues. Most of the deposit was refunded immediately. Initiated contact with management who very quickly and professionally responded to my inquiry and refunded the remainder of the deposit. Once we are ready to install our patio, we will definitely contact Red Carpet Remodeling to do the job.

He spent 1 1/2 hours telling us how great his company was the preassuring us to "act tonight" for a discount, then giving us a "good for two week" price and finally a "ggod for one year" price. Never gave estimates in writing or preliminary sketches. he abviously went to "Car Salesman" training. He said he only did outside work yet found complaints on Angie's list and BBB about atic insulation - I don't think that is outside work. Some of the certifications/performance awards he said he was honored to have were purchased not awarded. Will not use.

They are very professional. We had a miscommunication initially, that was handled. They gave all information about warranty and type of work they would do for our patio with a build in fire pit and kitchen and deck.

Red Carpet Remodeling came and gave us an estimate. The man was professional and thorough. I have experience with roofing and was able to ask direct and in-depth questions about what they were going to do. He answered all clearly, concisely and also with a sense of humor. The estimate included the removal a cupola and repairing the sheathing at that location, the removal of two solar collectors and the repair of the sheathing at that location also. This estimate included one additional attic vent installed and all new flashing and ridge vent, along with the use of other quaility products and practices I would have utilize if I had the time to do it myself. They arrived on time. In the process of removing the old roof they found wide spread damage to the sheathing at the locations of the solar panels and adjacent pieces of sheathing. These were all replaced. So they could not finish in a day. They stayed until they had put the roofing felt on the entire roof. They came and finished the second day. When I arrived home from work you would never know they had ever be at the house except for the roof. It looked beautiful. It certainly updated the look of the house. Now as to whether or not it would leak this was answered the following evening. We had high wind, horizontal rain and a tornado in the Fredericksburg area. It was the first time in years we had rain at our house and didn't get wet while staying on the inside! We have concluded it was a job well done!

This was a good deal. Everything went according to schedule. The work that was done was done well. They were on time and professional.

I had obtained a few insulation estimates and choose Red Carpet because of their honesty, responsiveness and very reasonable quote. Mr. Reeser initially stopped by to measure the attic and an addition to my house that is very drafty because it lacks proper insulation. After measuring the attic, Mr. Reeser told me exactly the level of insulation needed (another company I dealt with tried to sell more, even though it was unnecessary). For my addition, Mr. Reeser took some pictures to consult with an insulation expert and got back to me within two days to provide an estimate with options for my addition, tailored to my needs. I choose to go with the attic insulation for now, which looks great and the temperature difference is noticeable. Prompt, trustworthy, highly professional, reliable and no high pressure sales tactics. I couldn't ask for anything more. Highly recommended!

Red Carpet Remodeling was very nice but the total estimate was 10 times more than the original expectation which was not reasonable and I felt like it was deceptive. Their responsiveness and punctuality were excellent.

I am very pleased with the work performed, and the crew that installed the new pavers and all other work necessary for the job completion. The crew arrived about 8:30 a.m. and had the job completed by mid-afternoon of the same day. I can't believe it's the same back yard area, and I'm looking forward to warm weather to use my patio. Once the work was contracted for with Jack, Guy used great communication skills in getting the work scheduled, inspected and completed. I would use this company again without hesitation, and I highly recommend the company.

Estimate to start was a short time. Work was done in three days. Quality of produce is great. Quality of work was first class. Clean up was good.

I asked them for an estimate. They came in less than a week. I got a great estimate. I had them come back 2 months later to do the job. It took all of 1 day. They were very meticulous. My windows look great and keep out the cold. I would definitely recommend this company.

Leading up to the job, he kept me very informed about the schedule, when materials would be delivered, and when people were going to arrive. He was very organinzed and detailed along way. The construction crew arrived on time, and completed the job in one day. They cleaned up the entire area around the house of any debris. It was all done very well and professionally. He called a day or so later to follow up to make sure I was satisfied. He didn't forget about me, he really wanted to make sure I was happy with the job.
