CHUCK THE PLUMBER

Chuck the Plumber is somebody I refer that need services in my business and in my personal life. He is local, provides friendly service, he is reasonably priced, and always makes room for people in the schedule if it's an emergency.

We remodeled our master bathroom ourselves, and after we installed the new floor we found that the toilet flange was too high. This wasn't something we could correct on our own, and all the other estimates we received over the phone were significantly higher and a wide range. Chuck offered to come by and take a look to confirm the estimate, We arranged an appointment for this, and Chuck ended up doing the work while he was here the first time. His price was very fair, he was on time, professional and completed the work quickly. We were very happy with the service and will cakk Chuck first, if we are in need of plumbling services again.

These were OK plumbers but they were a bit pricy. I used them for one job and called them back for a second job but their price was way too high.

He is extremely prompt. He is very professional and he is very skilled at what he does. He doesn't mind giving suggestions on what to do, even if it involves another company. I thought his price was well within the ballpark. I would not hesitate to recommend him to somebody that is looking for a good plumber. If I need any other work done, he will be the first one I call.

One of Chuck's plumbers checked out the leak issue and put a new flapper put in a first floor toilet. He showed up on time, was professional. However, the new flapper didn't keep the toilet from coming back on all the time. The next week Chuck came back out, re-addressed the problem, put another style flapper value in and additionally performed a complimentary water heat flush and free check. Chuck did an outstanding job. No reservations in recommending Chuck.

He came on time and was very professional. He was effecient. He cleaned up after himself and was absolutely wonderful. I recently had surgery and can't lift my arms and he even changed some light bulbs for me.

Took the liberty of slapping his stickers throughout my basement without my approval. Took my hot water blanket off without my consent telling me they were useless. $100 part, $325 for less than hours work, $425 total.

Chuck is super personable and easy to work with but efficient. He gets the job done well and quickly.

We have been using them for last 18 years. He is real honest. He has got a great personality. They did excellent work. I would use them again.

I called upon discovering the problem and the CSR told me Chuck was out, working on emergencies from prior days, short 2 plumbers and going on vacation later that day! She offered another company and to let Chuck know I needed immediate help. Not 20 minutes later, Chuck was at my front door! He invented a creative way to permanently fix the problem without having to knock out drywall and was there and gone in less than a half hour. I've posted previous reviews on Chuck's work, service and professionalism and it continues to be exemplary. I'll never use another plumber, I've learned from disappointment in others from the past.

He did a good job. He is very pleasant and reasonably prompt. He is very personable.

I have had these guys out to my house three times, and I've had a positive experience all three times. They came in August 2010 to repair my rear hose bib where a pipe had burst behind my wall. They were very professional and replaced the burst pipe and the outdoor faucet that was connected to it. A few months later my front hose bib was leaking and they came over and took care of that as well. They were responsive, professional, and explained everything well. In April 2011, they came to take a look at a leaky toilet. They explained to me that it was about as expensive to fix the toilet as to replace it. They did not charge me for the visit and chalked it up as an estimate. I would absolutely use these guys again.

The plumber was no-nonsense. He arrived early and worked quickly. He also provided his opinion on some other issues I had with the plumbing. He was conservative about his suggestions. I asked if I should replace all the plumbing since it is 60 years old and he said no it's not worth it. He also suggested I caulk to correct a leak in the bathroom.

We first met Chuck in our old house when our bathroom floor drain backed up AGAIN. We'd had to call in a plumber for 3 years in a row as back-ups from this drain had become a chronic problem. While all the plumbers we'd hired previously had fixed the problem, Chuck was the first to diagnose the problem as tree roots for which the county was responsible. He provided necessary paper work to get the county to permanently fix the problem. Since then, we've called him in for both routine and emergency service. During flooding in 2006 in which our basement had 2" of water, he came promptly to fix the immediate problem (clogged outside drain), and then installed a remedy to prevent this from occurring again. When handed our bills, we are always surprised at the reasonable price for services.

We have been using Chuck the Plumber since 2002 and we have always been happy with their service. We called due to basement flooding issues, and they scheduled the appointment that same day. Chuck himself did the job and had everything completed within an hour. He explained how everything was hooked up and configured.

They arrive on time to do the work. They are courteous. They get the job done and it is done correctly. He is local. He cleans up after himself nicely.

He came the same day that I called. He only charged me for the service call. I did not have a set time for him to come. He just came in the morning, so I did not grade the punctuality. He was very nice, and the job was done well. I would use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.

Chuck and his assistants did excellent work on both jobs. They were professional, very thorough and quite friendly.

The gas line had been shut off when the last tenants had moved out of this house. When it was time to turn it on I discovered that the pilot light was not working. I called and Chuck the Plumber was able to come out pretty quickly. He made the repair and was a very nice guy to work with. He finished the job in about 1/2 hour. I was impressed that he has about 30 years experience.

They have taken care of our plumbing problems for some time now. They are always on time and if they are running late they will call to let you know. The quality of the work performed speaks for itself. They definitely get my recommendation.

For a smelly project, it went well. The Master Plumber, Frank, was very familiar with ejector pumps. He quickly determined that the pit wasn't dry. Why was content not being pumped out? Because there was a sizeable rock (!) embedded in the intake opening. How did the rock get into a sealed pit? Evidently it was left there during construction - seven years ago - and the incompetent plumber sealed the pit without removing the debris. Ignoring the malodorous contents of the pit, Frank hauled up the pump, removed the rock, observed that a vent hole was never placed in the pipe, drilled the hole, helped me check for more debris, and used extra screws to seal the lid. Frank needed to run out to his truck sev. times for tools-or was it for fresh air?!

Chuck himself came over to give an estimate and the work was scheduled quickly a few days later. The crew was very professional, efficient and cleaned up well. We had a couple of questions about installing the shower, which we were doing ourselves, and Chuck responded immediately to the message we left and helped us solve the problem. We were very pleased with the whole company and would use them again.

I've used him in the past and haven't ever compared prices which is why I put no answer. The toilet he installed was higher than the regular sized toilet, so the price was great and I'd recommend him to everyone!

Was called to replace a broken under-sink garbage disposal and install a reverse osmosis filter. He fixed the old disposal unit and warned us about a problem with the filter so we decided not to install it. His estimate on the original work was cheapest at $265 but the repair ended up costing us only $100. He was pleasant, professional, clean and helpful. I'll be using his services next time I need help.

First experience with plumber but it was very positive and stayed with the toilet until he was able to figure out what was going on, and believe me, it was not easy task.
