I waited 1 week for a reply, then decided to call him back. I left a detailed message on John Hanna's phone, but I have not heard back yet. It has been over 3 weeks since they came out, and over 2 weeks since I left a message. I would expect if there were weather related issues or other concerns that they could communicate those to me. It is unfortunate, since I had high hopes for this company based on their ratings. I am disappointed.

It was perfect, they are always perfect. The personal service and reliability really stands out. It is not a huge company so I know some of the people there and I can feel very comfortable with them. I know if I ask them to do something it will get done. I have used them a number of times. They are honest, reliable, and they have good prices. The professional and customer service is excellent.

The workman were on time, courteous and cleaned up all debris upon completion of the job

The estimator arrived on time. All services were timely and the quality was outstanding.

Tom Fichtner answered the phone and sent someone out. They were not the right people for the job. After some weeks we got Scott, the roofing guy. He was good and did an estimate. The guys showed up on time and did a very nice job and so far no leaks.

They were quick to come give me an estimate and I thought the price was fair. The rep told me it would be done in about two weeks and someone would call to set up an appointment. After three days I called them and was told they would call me when the skylight came in. Over a week went by still no news so I called on the 13th of the month and was told I was tentatively scheduled for the 15th. Four o'clock on the 14th I called them to find out about the 15th and was told they would call me back. I was put on the schedule for the morning of the 15th. I felt like I was not kept informed at all. The installation was ok, some interior woodwork had to be trimmed to fit the new skylight, and I think this was done in a sloppy manor and will require me to do some trim work. The skylight was installed in the time frame I was told and at a reasonable price, but the customer service (keeping me informed) was lacking and the sloppy trim job to fit the skylight have left me feeling that I will probably not us them again.

Fichtner replaced our entire roof approximately 4 years ago after storm damage. They came out within hours of us calling and then tarped the entire roof over the weekend to prevent further interior water damage until the storm past. They were out a few days later and completed replacing the roof and sky light. Entire team was professional and efficient. We were very impressed with the entire experience and have not had any issues with their work. Last week we incurred new storm damage and again Fichtner responded in a timely fashion and effected repairs to our roof. Again the entire experience was wonderful, they are very responsive, excellent customer serivice a professional team from Tom on down. We endorse their work with no hesitation. We recommend them to anyone needing roofing replace or repair.

We liked the guy. They ended up giving us a quote. We did have to change the appointment, and I had difficulties getting in touch with the guy. He never called me back. We decided that we should probably choose someone else. He was nice enough, and he seemed knowledgeable.

Overall the process went fine, with no problems. The contractor made clear at the outset that he could not guarantee that the siding could not become detached again (the contract specified that no warranty was offered for this part of the work), and that the alternative was to replace the siding on the house. So far so good.

Called and they came out in a few days. They took a look at where it was leaking and told me I needed to replace the ridge vent and the skylight. It has rained heavily since the work and no leaks.

It was okay. The sales call was rather cursory. They came out and pretty much did what they needed to do in terms of taking a look at the roof. It took at least five days for them to come out. They sent the quote in a couple of days. We got 5 or 6 quotes. Because they took so long to come out we had pretty much decided to go with someone else and their quote was only for comparison. They followed up but we had pretty much decided on somebody else. Their price and roofing materials that they use was certainly acceptable.

The snow storm tore our whole 34 ft gutter down on the side of our house. I called 10 different places and half of them wouldn't do the work because we hadn't used them before and all the others said it would be 6 weeks or more till they could come out and look at the problem. I called Fichtner's and they was told they would call me back that day to set up a time for an estimate. I got home from work that day and they had already been there and left the estimate in the mailbox! I called the next day to schedule the job and they had me send a third of the money and it once they received it they came out about a week and a half later and put up my new gutter. I didn't have to be there which was a plus not to have to take time off work. They sent me the final bill in the mail.

Both installation jobs were completed timely and well. Also, ABG was ready to followup on questions or requests we had after their work was completed. This concern for customer satisfaction was demonstrated by the President of Fichtner Services, which includes ABG, and the estimators and inspectors involved with our jobs. In support of this, ABG has been good enought that we recommended them to our daughter and son in law for similar repairs to their home. They, in turn have recommended ABG to some of their friends.

The entire process was professional and efficient. We were shown a nice selection/samples of roofing materials to choose from and walked through the process in detail. The crew arrived the day before to deliver materials, and did so quickly. The day of installation, the crew worked solidly throughout the day - we did not even notice breaks! No one played loud music or chatted the day away. They were able to complete our roof in one day, which we appreciated. The crew completely cleaned up after themselves. You could not even tell a crew had been here when they were done.

Everything went well, service was great. The only criticism would be they were a day late in performing the services but the service itself was done right, they were professional and did the job in the timeframe that was promised once they started.

We have a small balcony(about 4' x7') over the living room and it needed to be water proofed deck floor. Our architect recommended "Duradek" and Fichtner Services is the one of the authorized contractors who can install DuraDek. They came to check the current condition the day I called. Their estimate was not too low, or too high. My husband and I was comfortable and could trust their job. We had some questions about the material and how to install, and when we asked about those, he explained very well. The installation was pretty quick and worker's manner was pretty good. Since it is part of our addition project and it has not finished yet, we haven't used this balcony. But I can tell we invested a good material to protect from water damage.

They had excellent customer service from the start til the end. We took a couple of estimates from various venders. Fichtner wasn't the cheapest. But we decided to go with them because of their professional phone manner and the detailed work description on their estimate. It took them two and a half weeks to start the actual work, but it was understandable considering the demand in the area at that time. We received a phone call on Wednesday and were told that someone would be working on our house that day. That didn't happen. We called them back on Friday and asked what was going on. They sincerely apologized and told us the work would get done the next day (They didn't know what happened on Wednesday). I was impressed that the work did get done the next day since it was Saturday. Not realizing the work got done on Saturday, we called them on Monday to confirm our appointment. They politely explained to us that the work was done. There were some confusions, but we think it was honest mistake and overall, we were very satisfied with their service.

I called for an estimate. Estimator was out in a matter of days, on time. I got a thorough inspection and estimate. They were lowest of five estimates, all bidding the same quality materials. They did the job in 1 day. Showed up at 8AM with a skilled crew, removed the old shingles and had a complete new roof done by 4:30PM, thorough clean up included. Crew was hard working, polite and professional. When I'm ready to get my siding done, they'll be the first folks I call.

From what I can see Fichtner did a high quality job repairing our roof.

Due to a large amount of work from heavy snow damage, it was playing phone tag a bit with the estimator. Once we got together and a contract was signed, the workers were out in 3 days.

Found the number in the yellow pages and after calling received a call back that day. Was told because of the hight wind it could not be taking care till the wind decreased. Came on monday and was given an estimate and and was told that they would take care of it as soon as possible. Because the trim was hanging down and hiting the side of the house and disturbing my neighbor I again called on wednesday and was told they would be out that day to take care of the problem. By that afternoon the work was all done.

Overall they performed very well. The estimator arrived on time and was very efficient. I had requested an evaluation of my roof and gutters. He advised that the roof did not need any immediate attention. A few sections of guttering and downspouts needed replacing. The work was completed within 4 days of my authorizing the work using special order guttering that matched my paint scheme.
