Outstanding customer service with prompt attention to our needs and short timing in scheduling of initial consultation as well as installation date, extremely professional, provided documentation of services via email which facilitated understanding of services to be performed. Work was performed in expected time frame, most of job was completed day one and finished next morning, yard was cleaned up. Looks great, got it done in time before some heavy rains hit. Very happy with new roof and service we received. Have already recommended Fichtner to a coworker and plan to use them again for additional services. Very pleased.

It went very well. The men were very knowledgeable and efficient and did a beautiful job.

Called and scheduled appt. Service manager was prompt an on time for appt. He did measurements and provided an estimate on the spot. Work was scheduled to be completed in a few days.

I really like the guy. I call the salesman up and they come out and do it. They were here on time, did the work quickly, and cleaned up. They did the work I expected them to do. I was very happy with them.

They were professional, good but just didn't have the best price and as a result we went with another company. The quote was $15000.

The owner came to our home and prepared a detailed quote. The crew came a few weeks later as promised and they did what the owner had quoted. I stayed home most of the time during the two days they worked on my roof. Their foreman was very patient with all my questions. I was very pleased with the experience. They replaced 13 sheets of FRT plywood which I had been warned ahead of time as being necessary. Although this increased the price by $1100, the total price was still better than a quote I had from one of Fichtner's competitor. They cleaned up all their roof material before they left. I was impressed with the entire experience.

The work was excellent. When the roofer provided the estimate for the work he actually showed me a picture of the nail-pop on the roof. That was the first time we had been shown an actual picture of the issue with our roof. Before the roofers came to conduct the work I asked them to call me so that I could meet them at my home. They showed up did the work and left. They did not call me so that I could meet them at my home. I contacted Fichtner and they apologized for me not being notified. I was not too upset because I did not have to leave work. The Fichtner rep sent me the invoice in the mail and I paid the remaining balance. I would definitely use them again.

From the estimate to installation, everything went really well. Very pleased with the crew, cleanup and results. Several of our neighbors have also used Ficthner for their roofs.

The representative was very good and did measurements and gave samples and spoke about the project with me. I got the estimate from them and ended up calling them to negotiate the price. I appreicated their honesty and professionalism. I had the estimate in the summer and they took pictures and did not call to ask about getting the project. It wasn't until the fall that I had the project started. They did a great job even though we didn't choose them.

Things I especially liked: -- Estimator had brochures of samples with him which he gave to us (another estimator had us look online) -- Detailed estimate (not provided by other estimator) -- Details of what warranty covered (other roofing co's warranty was like an ad flyer) -- Told us about putting drop cloths in attic and taking down any pictures on walls that might be affected -- Let us know that a large dumpster needed to be on driveway close to the house for old shingles. -- Came in with large crew and did roof one morning and gutteting the next morning. -- Co. made sure we were satisfied with work. I highly recommend the company!

Fichtner Services is a first rate company from top to bottom. From Scott, the estimator, to Patricia and Meghan at the office, to Ray the crew chief. They replaced my roof and gutters. One day the roof, the next day the gutters. The company is punctual and their communication is fantastic. Scott was to arrive between 12 and 1 pm to give me an estimate. He was at my door at 12 pm on the dot, explained everything they would do, examined my roof and gutters and even to took pictures to explain any problems that he had found. I had had a previous estimate of what the work would cost and for approximately the same price, Fichtner was going to do more and had my shingles already in stock. The roofers were to arrive between 7:30 and 8:30 am to do the roof and were at my house at 7:25 am and had completed the work including cleanup by 3:30 pm (the crew never even stopped to take a little lunch break until almost 2:30). The gutters were to be replaced the next day and I was wondering what time they would come when at 3:30 pm, Meghan called to tell me that the gutter people would be there first thing the next afternoon. At 12:30 pm the next day the gutter guys were here and were so quiet that within a little over hour they had completed their work and had left before I even knew the work was completed. A day or two later, I received a call from Patricia to see how satisfied I was with the job, the timeliness and the cleanup. I could not have asked for any more from this company. I received the estimate on April 3 and my project was completed on April 10. They are thoroughly professional and the quality of their workmanship is outstanding. I would highly recommend them to anyone having a roof or gutters replaced.

Everything went well and we would use them again for other work.

Workers arrived prepared and on time. The work took longer than anticipated because additional damage to the door frame was located and addressed. Overall we were very satisfied with the work completed and I would recommend them to others.

They were prompt, the owner came out and looked at the roof to give me his optioin. They fixed the roof, I would highly recommend.

Fitchner Services did a wonderful job!! Michael Bafford met with me about the estimate and even assisted us with contacting the insurance company to ensure the proper documents were correctly filled out and we received the correct amount to have the roof repaired! The roof crew came as scheduled and were prompt, courteous and very professional. They moved anything that was in the way and covered the house in tarps so no damage was done. They worked throughout the day and even when it got dark making sure the yard was clean and no nails or wood was left in the yard. Jay German came out the following morning and went BACK through the yard to make sure it was cleaned up !! The gutter guy came and were also very professional and it took them no time to cover the fascia and put up the new gutters. Fitchner Services more than met our expectations in price and professionalism. We would recommend them to anyone needing work done and would call them again if needed.

We had used Fichtner previously for a leak on the other side of the same dormer that another roofing company had tried twice but failed to repair. As with the first time, they responded quickly, explained the problem in easily understood terms, provided a very reasonable estimate, set up the work and showed up on time and completed the work as promised, and as estimated. They are responsive, reasonable and good, and I would hire them again.

Meghan at Fichner was great to talk with regarding my small job. She called me on the day of with a confirmation, and let me know her team would arrive early. The roofing team was nice. While at the time I was willing to spend the necessary $350 service charge, I questioned this cost later. The workmen did not perform the work as quoted, which would have been inclusive of roofing materials such as tarp or shingles. Instead, they caulked an area around the chimney where they said the leak had been coming from. I asked Meghan to review this, and together we arrived at a more reasonable price for work performed.

The inspection went great.

Once we decided to get a new roof we contacted company since they were very responsive to our prior patching work. Mike Bafford came out within a resonable time and gave us estimates and answered all our questions. He was responsive to additional questions when we called. The company is located in Odenton but we live on Maryland Eastern Shore but even so Mike was pretty much available to us. We were told the roofing work would take one day to complete; removal of old roof, inspection of wood and replacement if needed and installation of new as well as replacing two new skylights. I was sceptical that it could be done in one day. The dumpster was delivered that AM along with large crew. They covered the house with tarp so nothing would get damaged as old roofing material was discarded. Once the old shingles were removed the integrity of the roof was examined and foreman only then went to local lumber yard to replace what wood was needed. Repairs were made and new roof put on and as promised they were done in one day. When they left the yard was clean, dumpster removed and you couldn't tell they were even there. The next day the rainspout crew came and replaced. There were a few things my husband wanted changed or questioned and the crew was very accommodating and did what we wanted or explained why it was being installed that way.

They were not the cheapest but we are happy with the outcome. Excellent company to do business with.

I found them on Angie's List and they were very good. They were timely, professional and clean. They came back and completed some work that they could not do the first day. Their price was lower than other estimates I got.

They are very good and their price is very reasonable that is why I chose them from another company. They are also the most qualified roofers to do the job for us.

We decided to go with a general contractor that could come out and fix everything but the assessment went well with them. They gave a fair assessment and price quote after reviewing the project.

Two guys came and they arrived on time. They were very good; they did the work efficiently. They forgot to get something and somebody from their office came to drop that off. They did the clean up and I had no complaints. They did a really good job. They have a funny payment system. I had to sign the contract and make the deposit, only then would they call to schedule. This could work in most cases but if I was going to be out of town or something like that, I would prefer to make sure they were available in the time that I need something done. It did not end up being a problem but I would say it was not the most convenient. Their pricing was good.

Overall good experience. I would recommend.
