Hamilton Plumbing provides fantastic service at an affordable rate. We wanted to have a back up sump pump installed in our basement. Vernon came out and looked at what we currently had. He made his suggestions and provided an affordable price. Everything was completed in a timely manner and the workmanship was outstanding. We also had another situation several months later when our heat stopped working in the middle of the winter. With a 1 year old in the house and the temperatures below freezing we were worried. Hamilton Plumbing came out same day and explained what was wrong and was able to fix it that day. Vernon made an accommodation to get out to us on a Friday and make sure that everything got working that day. I would highly highly recommend Hamilton Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning to family and friends.

I called on a Friday and within 2 hours they were here to remove the old the old heater and install the new. They were very knowledgable and professional. I would highly recommend using Hamilton.

I ended up not going with Hamilton for two reasons. The first being that I never received a call back to schedule an appointment. I spoke with someone who said he didn't have access to the schedule, but would have someone call the next business day. In the meantime the sump pump died, water backed up throughout my basement, and I had to find a different service provider who was responsive quickly. I can't give a fair and accurate review for lack of experience with provider.

Called, and they came same day to give an estimate and next day to do the work. Went with me through the options. Very courteous service. Left worksite very clean, and everything is functioning as it should.

They were able to come out the same day and repair my sink. Very efficient & professional. Explained the problem and were able to complete the job quickly. Would definitely use their service again.

Called on Sunday morning. This is the only company that answered the phone on Sunday. Service provider responded in the afternoon. He identified the problem and replaced the defective part. Outstanding service.

Had a few repairs with Hamilton: Mr Frost was very responsive, on time, knowledgeable, and thorough. I've given his name to family members (and i don't do that lightly).

The workers were fine and we had not issues at all. They were very clean and they cleaned up after themselves. It’s a father and son company. They were a little bit expensive, $100 maybe appropriate for this job.

The whole experience with this father and son team went phenomenal. The younger Vernon came out to the house to look over the work to be done and gave me a quick and very fair estimate. He really took the time to educate me on the whole process and was extremely knowledgable and patient with my many questions. The installation went very smoothly and both Vernons worked very hard to get the systems installed in a timely fashion. Once the units were installed young Vernon took the time to go over everything they had done and walk me through operation, care, and maintenance of the whole system. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to repair or replace their HVAC system and will definitely be using them in the future.

In Nov. 215 I had Mr. Foster, Sr. over to repair a leak in our kitchen sink due to a cracked fitting around the sink basket. He corrected the piping from the garbage disposal that I had replaced recently, but this put torque on the sink basket so that it didn't quite line up with the drain hole. the repair held for a while, but eventually the putty was displaced and it started leaking again. Mr. Foster warned me that this would be the case, and that I really needed the whole under-sink area re-plumbed (this was because the new disposal was slightly larger than the one that it replaced.) I told him we'd do so when it started leaking again. Mr. Foster mentioned this would run us about $400. Flash forward to about March 2016, and the sink started leaking again around the basket. I called in early June and requested service. We had been dealing with the leak for a few months by using a dishpan and only dumping water down the other basin. (because we were unable to take off work to be home for the service call) They were really swamped with HVAC service, but we were able to have the work scheduled for mid June. Mr. Foster Jr. completed the work in a few hours and tested everything to make sure everything was water tight. They made some recommendations about increasing the temperature on our hot water heater to reduce buildup in the pipes. The job was much less than what Mr. Foster, Sr. had mentioned, so we were pleasantly surprised. The Fosters were very polite and professional and cleaned everything up afterwards. Would love to have them in for another job in the future. They work out of Nottingham/Perry Hall, so it's gratifying to support local business.

Not very well. They told me the fix would be more complex including taking down part of the basement ceiling. I had my son-in-law take a look at it and he explained it would be a simple job. He will open the access panel, cut the connection and install a new connector to the new spigot without making the ceiling.

Vernon was very professional ,knowledgeable, and honest with pricing. I would call them again.

Excellent job by both Vernons! Father and son. Had an 08 OS Smith 50 gal electric water heater on the edge of failure. Was at the point of repair or replace. Decided to replace. There was a challenge in that the previous owner decided to tuck the failing water heater in behind the heat system boiler piping. WHY?! Who knows. I told Hamilton Plumbing that we would just leave it in place and put the new water heater where there was room to situate it. Vernon Sr. wanted to take a stab at removing the old heater. So, with a sledge hammer in hand Vernon Jr. persuaded the old water heater to shrink some on one side! And then the old unit squeeked by the piping for the boiler without having to get into an expensive movement of the boiler system piping. Excellent work. We are pleased. Prompt, courteous, clear, concise, cleaned up the work space... We would definitely hire again.

It went very well, they were great. Vernon and Vernon came and checked everything out, removed the old toilet very efficiently and put together and installed the new one quickly. Everything has been working great.

Quick and simple. Problem was explained and quickly fixed. Was told to contact if water found to still be leaking. Has been dry as a desert!

I called them last Friday and we agreed to Tuesday afternoon. They showed up on time and easily took care of all my issues. They were professional and very knowledgable/experienced. They took a conservative approach to diagnosing my issue which helped rule out an expensive repair. They spent time answering my questions and gave an estimate for future work. I liked them so much I am going to switch my heating maintenance to them as well.

The owners of this small business are also licensed plumbers and are, without a doubt, excellent!! I contacted them during February to provide an estimate for a new water heater. (The one we had was going on 12 years old and we did not want any leaks or other emergencies. Therefore, this was not an emergency.) The owners/plumbers came to the house within a few days of our call to assess the area in which the hot water heater would be placed and to determine our needs. The information they provided and the price they quoted were awesome! They installed the hot water heater within a few days. We were so impressed with their service, price, and professionalism that we also asked them to provide an estimate for the cost of a new heating and cooling system. Again, they blew us away with their quote because the estimates we had received were several thousand dollars higher. The equipment they provided was all top-of-the-line: A.O. Smith, Trane, Honeywell, etc. They were quite honest in telling us they could purchase equipment that was larger in size, but that "larger" did not necessarily correlate to "better" in terms of efficiency. We truly believed their recommendations were the same they would give their own family members. They explained every step they would be taking for the installation process. They arrived on time, and not only looked professional, but behaved in a very professional manner. They were also respectful of our privacy and of our personal belongings and did go through any other part of the house. Upon completing the jobs, they removed and carried away all of the old equipment and boxes. I highly recommend this company for any plumbing needs anyone may have. They will be the first company I call if we have any plumbing needs in the future.

I called Hamilton Plumbing to replace our broken water heater the afternoon of the January blizzard. I had frantically called several other plumbing companies to address the problem beforehand, but no one was available to fix our water heater that day. I became increasingly concerned that my children and I were going to be without hot water for days during a snow storm. And then I reached the wonderful team at Hamilton Plumbing. They heard our predicament and immediately came to our aid. Despite the snow quickly accumulating on the streets, they installed a brand new water heater, answered all of our questions, and ensured that everything was taken care of. I was impressed by their professionalism, overall customer service, and their willingness to go above and beyond to help a family in need.

The work was performed in a very efficient and professional manner. Both men were kind and courteous and respected my home. I will not hesitate to request their services again. Nice to see a father and son team. I also received 10% off the total service cost of $188 for my first service as an Angie's List member.

I've used Hamilton plumbing before. Professional and courteous. Flexible with scheduling. Wanted to be sure we got our money's worth, so he performed an inspection of the entire house. He discovered that the water heater was 15 years old (OMG)! Hamilton plumbing, thank you for taking care of us.

I emailed 3 different plumbers on Saturday, Oct. 3rd. about problems with the faucet dripping constantly at my kitchen sink and garbage disposal not working. Hamilton Plumbing (Vernon Frost) was the only one who had the courtesy to respond (guess the job was too small for the other two plumbers). Vernon and his dad (?) came out this afternoon and made the repairs. They also took the time to check the seal inside my dishwasher because I cannot run it due to water leaking from the door. Vernon suggested I write down the model and serial number of my dishwasher and purchase a new door seal and install it myself to save money instead of having them do it,. He even gave me the name of an appliance store so I could contact them. They did not charge me for checking my dishwasher. Vernon and his dad arrived on time, They were professional, respectful, friendly and answered all my questions - even the dumb ones! I have been looking for a "go to" plumber for some time. Now I have one.

I checked out reviews of several different plumbing contractors, and settled on Hamilton. They literally just completed the work, and I must say that my expectations were exceeded. My water heater began leaking over the weekend, and I reviewed Angie's list for potential contractors. I looked for contractors that had won super service awards and done work in my local are. I made the call to Hamilton and spoke to Vernon Sr. Immediately I knew I had chosen the right contractor. He asked me to give him some details about the leak and proceeded to ask me various questions to see if it was an issue I could solve without him having to come out and charge me for a service call. As it turned out the water heater needed to be replaced. Vernon said that he could come the following afternoon to perform the work. He called the next morning and stated that he could be at my house by 4:00 PM. I left work early to meet him and as promised both he and his son knocked on my door at 4:00. They came completely prepared to perform the work and then some. Vernon asked if they could use my sump pump to drain the tank. Unfortunately it wasn't working, and he asked if I wanted it replaced, as he had one on his truck. I was thrilled and told him to go ahead with the sump pump replacement as well. The entire job was of extremely high quality and only took a total of about 2 hours to complete. Both Vernon Sr. and Jr. were professional, courteous, very friendly and kept a clean job site. They left the basement just the way they found it, minus the water on the floor. I can't say enough good things about the work they did, and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. They will be my plumber of choice in the future.
