The effort took weeks to complete with 17 posts required to support the room, stairs and side deck. The workmanship, both materials and labor, were wonderful. Two highly experienced carpenters did the installation. They were competent, friendly and had a fabulous work ethic. When issues came up, they clearly chose the options that would be most satisfying to me, the customer. The company supervision was responsive, caring and committed to high quality work. The end-product is top-of-the-line. The glass is insulated as advertised providing protection from the direct Sun and outdoor temperature variations. The heat pump is quiet and effective. The windows and outside doors are well aligned and easy to use. This addition has so changed our enjoyment of this house that we no longer talk about ever moving again.

Having previously worked with Sunquest on our sunroom addition and been thrilled with the result, we asked them to remodel the kitchen, knock out walls in family room & laundry room, and reconfigure the space to include a new powder room and expanded laundry room. Sunquest did all of the construction work but subcontracted the plumbing, painting, stone countertop installation, and electrical work. They also installed cabinets and backsplash tile. The remodeled area is spacious, attractive, and functional. As with any construction project, we ran into a few glitches along the way, but Sunquest handled every issue in a professional way and consulted with me at every step. If I was displeased with any little thing, they worked to solve the problem in a timely manner. They charged me our original contract price -- no overruns even when a few items were more complicated than expected -- and I couldn't be happier with the result. I recommend them most highly -- they're good people. PS They have constructed one other sunroom in my neighborhood, and that is also a very attractive addition.

We had an old wooden screened-in porch that was rotting. We toured the showroom at Sunquest in Mt. Airy, Md because we knew someone for whom they had built a sunroom. Our space for the sunroom was small, but Sunquest tore down the old porch and put in a hexagonal, glass and vinyl sunroom with heater/air conditioner and glass walls and ceiling. The sunroom has been in operation for a year now, and we love it in every season. In the winter, it gives us a place to enjoy the sun or watch the snow fall. In fall and spring, we open the windows (screened, of course) and enjoy the breeze. In summer, we have a mosquito-free environment to enjoy the outdoors. Sunquest was extremely responsive -- after the initial completion, we had a torrential rain that produced a few leaks; Sunquest sent out someone next day to caulk all possible leak points and adjust windows. We haven't had any leaks there in the past year.

Working with Sunquest Living has been by far the best contractor experience we have had over the last two decades we have lived in our home. When we contacted the company with our initial inquiry they sent us Adam, a designer who was able to gauge our needs and desires and work with us to design a space within our budget. He was never pushy and was always honest, earnest, straightforward and easy to communicate with. He encouraged us to consider the glass roof because of our interest in the night sky, and we have never regretted it. Reluctant to sign a standard contract due to a couple of negative experiences with big jobs on our home previously, Adam and Mike, the owner of Sunquest Living, were willing to listen to us, understand our concerns, and work with us until we had a contract we were comfortable signing on to. The work began when we were told it would start. The two man crew of Andrew and Elmer was superb. They were remarkably communicative, discussing with us virtually every aspect of the job before and while they were performing it. They were respectful of our space and our family, and worked hard each day, making incredibly quick progress on the job. Their supervisor, Pete, was equally communicative, involved, and sincerely interested in insuring that the room we got met our expectations. Both the process of construction, and the finished room, exceeded our expectations. Even before it was completed, it was, and remains the most used, most lived-in and most loved room in our house. Adam was right---we adore watching the night sky through the glass roof and wouldn't trade it. The room was finished ahead of schedule and the job included features we weren't expecting such as crown molding on the ceiling of the existing covered patio, which got a new ceiling in the process. We expect to enjoy the sunroom daily for the many years in which we'll live in this house, and would hire this contractor again without question, for any similar project that we wish to complete in our home.
