Maryland Sunrooms/Four Seasons Sunrooms

We had known for a while that we intended to get a sunroom, and looked at Maryland Sunrooms as well as Patio Enclosures and a general contractor. For the quality and price we were looking for Maryland Sunrooms was clearly above the competition, and we never regretted going with them. From our initial discussions with them, through signing the contract, all the way to the completion of the project and beyond what we appreciated most was that we were able to always communicate directly with Mike, the owner, and Pete, our project supervisor and they were always responsive and helpful. On top of that, we were beyond impressed and pleased with Saul, who actually did almost the entire construction himself besides pouring the slab and running the electrical, which they subcontract out. He's incredibly talented and was so wonderfully easy to work with, which was especially important as we were coordinating siding and gutters contractors and plumbers as well to do work in conjunction with the sunroom. The final result is simply stunning, and we have no regrets at all about a year out. We'd happily recommend Maryland Sunrooms to anyone.

The reason I gave it a 'B' is because they also sold us a screen 'room' to attach to the awning which zippers which sounds like a good idea but we only set it up once and never again because it is so complicated. We should not have bought that but the awning we love and would not want to do without it.

Well. No problems with arranging for installation. Awning is good quality and there has been no malfunction. I think it's about 5 years old now.

It went very well. I remember the work started round the Christmas holidays and they were there punctual right after Christmas. I also remember it was freezing cold outside and the work continued until the job was done. The room has been finished now for about 6 years and we are so happy we got it done.

We were very pleased with the work done on our house. Everything came out beautifully, and is holding up nicely! Our new spaces make us very happy! As is always the case, the projects took a little longer than expected, but the delay was no more than what one might expect, and the beautiful work made it worth it! There were a few issues at the completion of the project, but the company sent someone to fix the issues promptly, and (obviously) at no extra cost. We had one issue over a year later that they happily came and fixed. Again, free of charge. We would certainly use them again if we had any similar projects!

The sales representative was always punctual for our appointments and scheduled meetings at times convenient for my wife and me. We were able to consider numerous options in styles, colors and price points. The job started on the agreed upon date. They were punctual, neat, clean and very easy to work with. They were extremely patient with all of our questions and suggestions. It was a very positive and professional experience all around. i like this outfit a lot.

This was suppose to be a preliminary design process for the addition of a sunroom to our house. The agent took some photos of our house and superimposed images of the company's prefabricated structures. That was the extent of the design effort, and most of the time was spent by the agent touting the sparkling reputation of the company. Since we were not interested in a pre-fabricated structure, we were not interested in going any further.

Initial meeting went well and Adam was very professional. I did not get the rendering in the time period promised had to follow-up and then the actual price to have the work done was $26,000, which for what I want is much too high. I am sure the quality would be great but I told Adam we were moving in about 5 years and $26K would be poor use of money for this project and would not add enough value to the home for resale.

They did an excellent job with the work. They tell you up front that it will take a while to begin the job. Everybody was very courteous and pleasant, and the communication was very timely. Overall, they are very professional in their business.

I called and took advantage of the deal for information purposes only. I am so impressed with the visit and results (though I do not have the final drawings) that I will be attempting to find a way to finance a room from this company.

Very well- very professional, punctual and provided a good product

The team, all the way from design to execution, was meticulous and responsive. We could not be happier with the quality of the design and work. The addition has made such a difference to our home. No detail was too small, and they customized the design and structure to meet the needs of our space. The craftsmanship is exceptional. In addition to carpentry and design, the team of experts included HVAC, foundation/concrete, and painting/staining. They worked well with our flooring person, who was not part of their team. The project took about 10 weeks from start to finish. There were no unexpected additional charges to speak of. They were fair in their pricing -- it was not cheap, but it was great value for the absolutely first class work. There were some delays, mostly caused by weather, but they took advantage of every moment that they could to perform the work and stayed in touch with us every day. We can't say enough good things!

They informed via email they were out of my service area so I am getting a refund.

It was expensive, but they did a good job. There was a lot of extra work including excavation and adding on to our basement.

The service was excellent. They did a fine job. It was done on time and the price was reasonable. The price was normal. It was not cheap, but they did quality service. So, it was average. We could not be happier with the sunroom. I would recommend them very much. We looked at several different ones and theirs looked like the best and it turned out to be the best I think as well.

They said they would not repair a kit that was not theirs. Also not interested in "full demo" at the moment.

It went very well. Adam Ford was the Representative. He was informative and provided useful ideas and suggestions without the hard sell. After the meeting, we decided to put our plans to replace our current patio on hold for one year. We hope to follow up with Maryland Sunrooms/Four Seasons Sunrooms in September 2015

They did a fantastic job. Kept in contact with us throughout the project and kept disruption to a minimum. Would definitely recommend them.

A guy named Mike came down and gave us a presentation, and then my wife went out to the showroom. He was very pleasant and professional. It seemed like he really knew his stuff. It is an expensive proposition, not necessarily that his price was expensive, but it is an expensive product. It was a custom glass sunroom. A normal contractor can't do it by definition. In order to make sure it doesn’t fall apart, I have to use from an authorized distributor. It is something you can't manufacture on your own. By definition, the franchise is going to be a lot more expensive because they have to buy the parts from somebody else who has already raised the prices. I would rate him really highly in terms of his overall professionalism, the quality of his communication, or anything regarding his service. When I mentioned about the 10 percent Angie’s discount, he said that wasn’t included. He said that he was just giving a quote and he must have forgotten to do it, and right away, he took it off the quote. In terms of using him, I feel pretty confident. I just felt that the price was a little high.
