The work was started promptly and started quickly. The team was seriously efficient and the end results look good. However, had someone taken the time to tell me there was a metal fence stake in the way and ask if I wanted it paved in, I would have said no and pulled it.

AC Paving Company was the only company that called back with a estimate. They did a fast well done job.

Very well. They arrived at the agreed upon time and finished when they said they would. I really was quite pleased with their performance. I am usually very wary of anyone who comes to the house and solicits any service. However, they did three driveways in my neighborhood at once and I was very pleased with the job. I did have time to check them out on Angie's List prior to consenting to a contract and did a little independent research as well. I would certainly use them again and recommend them to friends as well.

I called AC Paving, and on the same day, they came, edged and sealed the driveway. It went great and they did a great job.

Chad needs to call me before I have a whole lot to say, with VIDEOS. Well, he did not call. The asphalt is splitting, grass is growing from beneath and is peaking through the driveway. I called several times to have them mitigate a few areas, but was ignored. They charged me for prods that they did not deliver. Specifically the base, I think it's called RC4 or something, they did not use that, they just used the existing gravel. Because it isn't completely level some areas of the yard have standing water near the asphalt. To put it plainly, I was ripped off and I would HIGHLY advise anyone from using them.

I met with Mike from AC Paving Company . My driveway was cracked with grass growing in-between, had depressions in the driveway from a dumpster a long time ago. and looked old and worn and crumbling. Mike explained to me how the asphalt is applied to the driveway . He also explained why we did not have to dig up the entire driveway which would have been very costly. Mike measured the driveway and gave me a quote based on the size of the driveway and the fact that because he was doing a job earlier in the day and would already have the equipment out and ready to go. Two days later the crew showed up promptly and within a few hours I had a beautiful fresh new driveway. Extra care was taken along the sides of the driveway where I have grass and a stone walkway. Upon finishing the work the crew roped off the driveway so it would not be used for a few days. They left the site clean. I would highly recommend AC Paving Company. And by the way...how did I find them? On Angie's List. I checked out the reviews and the company's web site.

AC Paving is the best. We are a eighth of a mile from the road with a substantial parking area. AC Paving knows their stuff. In just five hours they came in, took out old paving to properly fit into each walkway, when it rained the following day you could easily see how perfect their leveling worked to handle the water and the edges and thickness was increased near the road to slant the road water run off onto adjacent land and not down our driveway as was the case in the past. AC Paving knows their equipment, knows how to handle the blacktop and knows how to work efficiently and together for a perfect result!

They were nice and professional but the quality of the work was very poor... The driveway looks worse after they sealed it when they attempted to fix the drainage problem. We called them to come back and fix it, which they attempted to do, but they charged us more for the return visit and fix, but it still is not fixed and it looks terrible.

My driveway was in very bad shape. The end of the driveway where the asphalt meets the sidewalk was broken with missing pieces and grass growing. The side of the driveway that bumps up against the sidewalk that leads to the front door needed a little bit of attention also. The other end of the driveway where the asphalt meets the garage was had about a 2 inch gap. The rest of the driveway had long cracks and and indentations. I called AC Paving the morning of 3/16/16. Around 1030am Joel came by to give me an estimate. He explained in detail what would be done; cut away about foot from the sidewalk end and the garage end,around to the sidewalk edge that needed repair, fill-in the cutaway with asphalt and cap the entire drive with 2 inches of asphalt. He said the crew was in the area and they could have it done that afternoon. The crew showed up around 3:00pm. I wasn't sure what I was expecting but I wasn't expecting a 7 man crew, with a backhoe, the machine that compacts the asphalt after they are done spreading, and a truck with the asphalt. It was impressive, they did a great job in 2 hours, and it looks great. I am extremely pleased with the work that was done.

Very well, ripped out the old driveway, added sub grade and resurfaced. Start to finish one day. Cleaned up after the job was completed. We are very satisfied with the job

Last February we agreed on a price to pave my driveway. A few weeks later, with no call ahead to confirm a date, I come home from work at 10pm to find my driveway paved and street blocked with their paving equipment. It was 36* the day they paved it and IT SNOWED the next day. The ground was already completely saturated from all the snow we had previously. The driveway does not have a smooth surface and appears it was not compacted correctly which is evidenced by how soft it is, and small holes that formed in the driveway just a few weeks later, cracks that have formed, and a large puddle in the middle of it. After trying to tell me they didn't pave the driveway, they came out patch the holes and sealed it for free because it looked terrible. The first time they went to seal it, it began pouring, they wanted to finish but I told them this is not acceptable so they came back. The driveway has now developed many large cracks at the base, large divets wherever anything has been parked on the driveway (in the winter, not because the asphalt was hot) and will likely only get worse over the coming years. I don't see this driveway holding up for more than a few years. And to top it all off, when they came back out to look at it, they sent their Foreman and he says "I can tell you I didn't pave this driveway, I was off that day". I would not use this company if you are looking to make an investment in your property that will last more than a few years. I wish I was able to post some pictures. My parents 15 year-old paved driveway that was done correctly by being excavated, let settle for a week, then paved looks 100x better having never been sealed than my new driveway. Update*** Larger cracks have surfaced, a large crack in the middle of the driveway, and large cracks around the edges where asphalt has began to break off.

For the most part the work was positive. It was a little bit rocky in the beginning about in terms of their beginning explanation about things. I had to complain and complain to them to come back to redo some things to make it look like it should have. They were telling me that I should have paid to get a sealant to the driveway. But they did not tell me about that until they were done. I told them they did not tell me that until they put it down. I told them they should have explained all of that upfront to let me know. I might use them again with some qualifications. I would like a little bit more clarity up front about what they are doing. I want to know what it will cost me and what I can expect when it is finished. I was not happy with their responsiveness. When I first called I was trying to tell them what was going on. The little son, I think that is where the problem was. He means well, but he says stuff that he really should not be saying. You don't say it is a waste of my time to go out there, because I know what is going on. Well, if you know what is going on what are you going to do about it? You don't do customers that way, to say it is a waste of my time. When I am calling you, responsiveness is what can I do to help. And the father called to apologize for that. He is young and he is still trying to train him. I understand.

After two months of waiting for a response, they contact me asking me to call them again. I provided them all of my contact information and they still never called. I will give my money to someone who is appreciative of earning it.

Please forgive me in advance for all the superlatives to follow. AC Paving is simply one of the best companies that I have ever worked with. Our goal was to replace an aged 1400 sq. ft. driveway and cure water runoff and drainage problems. Asia Cooper happened to be in my area on the very day that I called the company for an appointment, so he called and arrived 30 minutes later. The most impressive part of his analysis and proposal was his thoroughness and attention to small details. I had prior estimates from others, but none matched Asia?s directness and completeness. With some discussion, his price slowly came down to a figure that I believed was very reasonable. He estimated that they would start the next day at about 1:00 pm. At 12:55, the crew arrived. The equipment was truly impressive ? bright, clean and shiny ? a surprise for what is essentially a dirty job. The crew worked with amazingly impressive teamwork. No one seemed rushed; everyone worked together and anticipated each step. The man who drove the Bobcat was especially impressive. He spun it around as if on a pivot, removed the old driveway in less than 40 minutes and handled that machine with surgical accuracy. It was a great show to watch. As the other members of the crew worked, I was touched by the care they showed to the plantings that were next to the work area, their knowledge of the tasks and the efficiency of each individual. The critical job of re-grading, leveling and checking slopes so that water would really drain as specified. The asphalt was places exactly as specified. Although not originally formally discussed, it seemed a good idea to add an additional curb ? which was done without hesitation. Finally, water was poured in the center of the new driveway and flowed exactly as predicted. Mike, the foreman, and all the crew under him get my highest praise. Thank you all. All the kudos that other Angie?s List members have written are true! This is a company that you can depend on.

Asia Cooper came to my home immediately when I requested a free estimate. He provided the estimate and answered my questions. He made an immediate schedule for my new driveway. The provider brought many heavy equipment which belonged to Asia Cooper, president of acpavingcompany which impressed me because I did not want to see "rented equipment". Also, many workers (about 5) worked hard and in coordination. There were 3 standby dump trucks (separate drivers) to pick up the old driveway and deliver hot asphalt. The workers completed the driveway making it very smooth. The entire job was done in 4 hours.

Brought a large crew and did a fantastic job. Manipulated the flow of water run-off, added some small curbs and neatly brought the asphalt to our nice brick work. Even patched a broken area near the street that was not part of the job. Great attention to detail. Very responsive, Asia Cooper answered his cell phone every time I called over the past 2 weeks, which was a lot! Could not be more happy with the job. We have a high-end house, and my expectations are very high. I'd recommend these guys to anybody.

It was fine. I have no complaints whatsoever. They were efficient and did their job. They got it done fairly quickly. They used a hot tarbase rather than the vinyl seal which they said should last longer.

They were terrific! And this is coming from someone who expects quality, professional treatment by service providers. They were consistently punctual about returning phone calls and communicated clearly. They were quick to come out for a preview and to get the job done. The workers were polite and friendly. The job looks great. When we have to repave the entire driveway in a few years, I'll call them back without hesitation! I highly recommend this company.

This paver had been doing a lot of work in our neighborhood, so I wasn't surprised when Christian knocked on the door. We talked about the job and he presented a quote in about 10 minutes. He wanted to do the job that day, so that was a bit rushed - I didn't have time to get competing quotes. The price was about what I expected for a long looping driveway with a large area in front of the garage doors and another large parking pad on the side. $1,500 of the price was for the seal coat. Christian was going to cut out sections in front of the front walk, garage doors, and the street to tie the driveway into them (level), sever and dig out some roots that were breaking up the driveway, and perhaps replace parts of the side parking area. My neighbor was quite pleased with their work so I pulled the trigger. I wish I could have hung around and watched, but instead had to rely on updates from my wife. They did everything as planned and did a great job. The grading, edges, and finish were all top notch. There was no extra asphalt or sealer to clean up, all of the old asphalt chunks were removed. I wish they'd delivered some fliers introducing themselves and announcing their presence and work in the neighborhood (other pavers have). If it hadn't been for my trusted neighbors' endorsement of their work I wouldn't have considered such a rushed offer.

I contacted three companies for estimates. Mr. Cooper was the first to call me back. I received a quote from another company that was a bit lower, and Mr. Cooper came out that day and not only matched the lower quote, but they got started that day. The five man crew worked cleanly and efficiently. The next day, the crew returned in the morning and finished the job in a few hours. My driveway is long with a large parking area on a hill and was in very poor shape prior to this job. I could not be happier with the services performed and would recommend this company to anyone.

Very professional, and answered all the questions I had over the phone. They came out without me having to be there to estimate cost of repair within one day which was fast, considering that other companies wouldn't even return my calls. In the end we didn't use them to do our driveway since we found a lower estimate but I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking to have their asphalt driveway repaired or replaced.

Had estimate for job on Saturday and work done on Monday. Great crew - got the job done professionally and quickly.
