Glass And Screen Hospital

My first appointment had to be rescheduled due to their employee being ill. When they got to our house for the rescheduled appointment, it was determined that the best fix was for them to take the slider to their location so they could install a heavy duty screen. When the door was ready, they called to set up the return appointment. The return appointment was scheduled, they then had to reschedule it the day before they were supposed to come out because their employee had a family emergency, we rescheduled it for the following week. The Saturday before they were supposed to come out I got another call from them, letting me know that the screen was complete, and we should set up day for them to come out.... this was after I already had a appointment scheduled for them to return..... the person on the phone said great, we will keep that appointment. Well, the day before the return appointment, I got a call saying "our tech is on the way"....... Short story..... they are horrible at scheduling and keeping appointments. With that said, everybody I did speak or meet from the company was very nice, and the work they did was great.

One of the worst experiences of my life. They were scheduled to come out between 9am-12pm and was suppose to call before arriving. I took the morning off work as a physical therapy provider for home bound patients. The technician didn't arrive until 1:50pm and he never called to let me know he was on his way. When I asked about him calling before he arrived, he told me that he doesn't do that part and the main office was responsible for informing customers. Then I asked him about his lateness and he informed me that he was behind schedule. He came in and measured the window, which only took 5 minutes, handed me a card and said that he has to now schedule another day and time to replace it. So I asked why would I need to ultimately take a full day off work just for a 5 minute task which didn't even include fixing the window. Instead of answering my questions, he walked out of my condo which upset me so I slammed the door behind him and when he got outside, he looked backed at me and screamed "GO TRUMP!" I immediately called the company to complain and they put me on hold and when the owner's son got back on the phone, he informed me that he talked with the technician who denied everything and made me out to be the aggressor. I then informed the gentleman on the phone that I would not need to speak further with him as I'm sure the situation would be dismissed and not handled. I am an African-American man and the technician was a Caucasian male. I consider this as a textbook display of racism!!

I couldn't have been more pleased with the professionalism of the two-man crew who did the work. The company first sent an estimator to look at the window in the door to make sure it could be replaced and to measure. He took his time and measured several times and assured me it could be done. The company called a few days later to take a second look at the job and sent their lead estimator to look and measure just to make sure. They called with a price and we agreed, the work was done at a convenient time and we are very pleased.

They did an excellent job. It took longer than I thought it would (mostly for the handle parts to come in) but once they came back to do the work it went quickly.

Excellent service and great communication with company. They called me about where we were in the process of making windows down to when techs were en-route.

It took a long time. It took 6 weeks or more and I was getting concerned with the whole thing. We had a problem with the pricing in the beginning. Eventually it worked out but it sure could have gone a lot smoother. It was not cheap. They were pricing us at a whole window but it was only a half window. We went back and forth and back and forth. It was in my master bathroom and I have double pane windows. It wasn't the window it was the insulation between the two panes of glass was coming up which was allowing a lot of air to come in there. I just wanted that piece replaced and they had to go and order the glass. It was just a mess. I probably could have bought 2 windows for what I bought to have it fixed.

We're repair house for sale and had to repair/replace 14 windows. Andrew and Glenn are exceptionally knowledgeable and skilled at glass and window repair. They were very conscientous and courteous throughout.

Recently bought the house as a foreclosure; half of the slider had glass that was "fogged up" from the seal failing. Everything I Googled said just replace the whole door. Went to Home Depot to shop for a new door and one of the employees there referred us to the Glass and Screen Hospital. They came within the week for a free estimate, ordered the glass, and came and made the repair when the glass came in a couple weeks later. They were on time, knowledgeable, and all of the staff I interacted with were very professional. I would definitely do business with them again if the need arises. It was a great deal and sure beats having to buy a whole new door when the problem was only the glass in one half of it. The repair came with a 10 year warranty. It also kept the current door out of a landfill and was much cheaper than buying a whole new door which would have cost about $1200 plus installation. Very satisfied. :-)

Prompt, courteous! Work completed in a timely manner.

I sent in a price complaint. The service was adequate. The service that I was asking for, they wanted $450. They were ludicrously expensive. I had them do two screens which was $130, the other three pieces that I had, I took to a local hardware store and they charged me $56. They are six times as expensive and I don't care how nice they are, it was ridiculously expensive. That was to do two screens in two screen doors. I wanted to take the screens to them, but they insisted on sending someone out. I did the other two screens for $26 a piece.

It went great from measuring to ordering to installing. It will be perfect if when I wash the windows & doors, it looks like no windows are there, i.e. clear!!

The technicians were on time. They listened to my problems. They inspected my windows. They ordered the parts and replaced the broken window.

All went well. They called when they were on the way, arrived promptly, and completed the repairs satisfactorily. The work was complicated by the fact that the windows were very old, with brittle frames which crumbled when touched. The technicians were very careful to do a little damage as possible and were very imaginative to come up with a workable solution. The only downside is that it took about 3 weeks to get on their schedule, but I guess that proves they are in demand.

Arrived for estimate when expected, very courteous and knowledgeable. When a delay in the manufacture of the new window insert was encountered, they advised me right away and the new estimated date was met. Technician who completed repair arrived on time, went to work right away and cleaned up work area when job finished...very happy with results.

They were very responsive, sending a rep to take measurements within 48 house. They were also great to work with when scheduling installation. The install team arrived early, worked efficiently and kept me informed throughout.

No problems whatsoever. Came and replaced with a new insulated glass unit, and was able to reuse the grilles that were sandwiched between the two panes of glass. We'll definitely use this company again, probably for screen replacements.
