I called Undercuts and Jason answered the phone right away! We made an appointment for the next day and he arrived on time and took down all of the information he needed in order to quote. He was very quick to respond back with quote and we set a date for him and his crew to come do the work. He arrived on time. His crew was very professional and courteous and did a wonderful job! I have been looking for a reliable landscaping service for some time and feel that I finally found one! Jason will be the first person I call for all of my landscaping needs!

I contracted with provider at the beginning of the summer, primarily for mowing service. About every two weeks, Undercuts would come out and mow my lawn. I was very happy with the service. Also, at the beginning of the summer, I asked if they did maintenance and cleanup (trimming bushes, weeding, etc.) of beds. For an extra fee, they came in and did a fine job with the flower beds and trimming and edging. I am about ready to contact them for leaf removal and I plan on using them for the same service next year.

I called Jason after reading his reviews on Angie's List. Jason came over the next day. He looked at the front of the townhouse and we then discussed options for how to resolve my issues with the current plants. It didn't take long for us to decide on what needed to be done and the date to do the work was set for November 19, 2013. On November 19, 2013, Jason and his crew arrived and immediately began removing the old bushes and trimming the fifth bush. Within a very short time, about 3 hours, the entire job was completed. The old plants were removed, the new plants were installed, some topsoil was added followed by a liberal amount of mulch and weed control. All debris was completely removed. Other than the great new look for my townhouse, you cannot tell anything was done. Jason and his crew did an excellent job! The results were exactly as we discussed and it looks better than I had envisioned. I couldn't be more pleased! Thank you!

Jason came out and gave me a quote, which was very fair. I'm not very familiar with plants, maintenance, etc. and asked Jason to pick the plants for me. We are building a house and are keeping our existing house as a rental property so I wanted plants that are very low maintenance. The two columns holding up the front porch are starting to dryrot so we also needed them replaced. Jason and two of his workers arrived and did a very professional job. The plant beds are beautiful and with the replaced columns, really add to the curb appeal of our property. I work out of my home, and I could see the care they took on the columns. They are perfect. They painted the columns and also painted some trim from a front door installation for free. Clean up was great as well.

Can't say enough about the work, he did exactly what I asked him to do, offered additional services, but was not pushy. Everything went swimmingly! Highly Recommend using this guy for any of your yard work needs, and beyond.

Jason came and gave me an estimate with in an hour of calling him! He and his guys did an awesome job of cleaning out and pruning our flower beds and laying new mulch. The gutters look so much better cleaned out! I will definitely call him when we are ready to do the backyard!

I called and within an hour the guys were there weedwacking and spraying weed killer in my yard! Did an unbelievably good job! I could not be happier. They even showed up a few weeks later, sprayed weed killer again (for free)! This company is the best!

Jason was prompt, professional and friendly. We discussed the obvious issues, found a few more, and he was able to fix everything on my list. It took two visits for his crew to make the front of my townhouse look brand new. The lawn was re-seeded, bushes were trimmed and removed and the tree was trimmed. All debris was removed. Both the front and back were power-washed, including the sidewalk and stairs. In addition, he replaced the rotted portions of my front bay window, repainted it (both sides to protect it longer) and sanded and painted the front door. Thanks to Undercuts, I shouldn't be hearing from the homeowner's association for a few years.

Jason was very responsive, generating an on-site estimate within a day of first contact and executing the agreed upon plan shortly thereafter.

Provided clean up of front and back yards. Cleaned and weeded flower beds, trimmed shrubs, cut back overhanging tree branches, pulled out poison ivy, and pulled ivy from fences. Called to schedule date and time. Arrived as expected and completed work as expected. Jason called that evening to make sure everything was satisfactory. Prices are very reasonable. I was so pleased I contracted for mowing and maintenance for the rest of the season.

We first had him come out to do our spring clean up. His crew did a great job cleaning up leaves (which were never picked up in the fall) and other debris. He also spread new mulch in the gardens. Because of the quick and good work he did on the yard we asked him about fixing up a side yard that we have with some pavers (that we had left over from a previous project) to create a walkway. He gave us a great estimate and scheduled the work within the same week. His crew did a wonderful job digging out the path and laying our pavers. We were very pleased with the work that this company did and will use them again.

Fantastic! My lawn never looked so good. The removed all the overgrowth and trimmed the yard and house areas most expertly. I was very impressed and plan to use them to cut and maintain the yard for the rest of the season.n

It went very well. I had contacted a number of landscapers during the spring/summer of 2012. Because my project was regarded as a small job, it was difficult to get responses sometimes. Those that did respond charged a premium price, up into the thousands of dollars, for this relatively small project that would take a half day at the most. Here is what I really appreciate about Undercuts: Undercuts really cared about my (relatively small) project. To a homeowner, no project is small, especially when it comes to curb appeal. I want a contractor who cares about my project as much as I do. Undercuts was that contractor and I am very glad I hired them to redo my front yard. The owner came to look at the project and we spent a good deal of time discussing the best plants for my plot - since it gets full sun exposure. He understood my concerns, was punctual and very professional. The price I was quoted I regarded as fair, given the number of workers and time required. On the day of the project, the workers arrived early and began work immediately. They had a couple of questions about my preferences as they placed the plants and laid the flagstone. I really appreciated that, rather than just making assumptions. When they finished, my front yard looked beautiful! Undercuts also was available by phone and e-mail to go over plant choices and I felt comfortable calling them with questions about plant care. My only (minor) criticism is that I asked for mulch not to be laid up against the house, due to my concerns about termites and the mulch was still laid up against the house. Other than that, Undercuts did a stellar job and I would happily hire them again and recommend them to others. I was quite pleased when others in my neighborhood stopped by to find out who was working in my front yard. Almost a year later, I am very happy to say that I still have the best looking yard on my block.

I met with Jason and he quoted me a reasonable price. He said they would perform the work within a week and he kept his word. The work was done well and they cleaned up the debris also. I was impressed. The employees did a great job.

Returned my initial call quickly, came out within a few days, and provided an estimate shortly after. Service quality was great and fast during such a busy time of the year for landscapers.

Undercuts has worked for me before--I did not find them on Angie's list, but by referral from friends, before. Undercuts is very reasonable, considerate, willing--and will let me know, in advance, about how much money/mulch/time things are going to take. I say "about how much" because I have a large yard with lots of edges, and I try to keep the cost down. We tried to keep it to this much this year, but I will have him back next week to do more. He brought as much mulch as $500. buys, (agreed to in advance) and told me, beforehand, that it would not be enough. I believed him, but thought I could just do the edges--he was correct, and I will have him do more next week, so it looks like what he did last year. He is very kind and reasonable, and I would recommend him again, and to friends, and have. He will do practically anything I ask him to do, including take a heavy object down to the basement for me. Where, these days, can you find help like that?!!

It went very well. I called Jason on Tuesday; he came to the house on Thursday to look at the job; I agreed to have the work done at that time; three workers arrived with equipment on Friday and competed the job quickly and efficiently. I plan to have the firm take care of the yard for the remainder of the year.

Jason was very responsive by email from our first contact through finishing the job. He is honest and dependable. He did the work very quickly and for a fair price. His crew was friendly and professional. He really was a pleasure to work with and a quite bargain for the quality of work. We have already contacted him again for additional services. Jason and his team did an excellent job! Jason responded quickly to my Angie's List inquiry requesting a quote for services. I received quotes from three companies, and Jason's was the best value. I also appreciated Jason responding to my questions that I had via email; overall communication was excellent. On the day of the work, his team was on time, and they worked quickly and effectively. Before they left we walked the property to make sure that everything was done--and it was! All of my neighbors keep commenting on how great my gardens look. Thank you!

From the first email I sent, until the work was completed, I have nothing but the best things to say about Jason and his work. He helped me through deciding what I need to and what would look best. Jason remulched my entire front and side yard, rebuilt a small fence area, regraded, repaver-ed, etc... Was in constant contact with me from start to finish, even got me bushes that would improve the mulch bed. I can't put into words how much I appreciated everything Jason did and with the coupon he offered made him MORE than reasonable pricing wise. Excellent company. Jason was nothing short of honest and professional. Did what he said he would do; if there were changes during the course of work we were kept informed and asked for approval before anything was done that was different from what was originally planned.
