They were great. I liked them very much. We have used them in the past, and we will use them again.

Undercuts was hired for leaf removal after providing an estimate. They were prompt and professional. Initially I requested mulching and leaf removal. They recommended I wait on the mulching until Spring. They did an excellent job. I asked them to contact me in the Spring for mulching.

Very reliable company. Jason, the owner, is highly responsive to customer feedback. He and Erica do a fantastic job of communicating with customers. Either Jason or Erica responds to my email almost before I hit the send button! If his yard crew misses something, Jason will make everything right and touch base with the customer. My 2nd year of a contract with them to do weekly grass cuts, monthly weeding of flower beds, fall leaf cleanup, and spring cleanup. I'm very pleased with them. I also used them several times for snow removal. They were great about touching base with me the night before to see if I wanted them to schedule me for the snow removal. I've had a lot of yard maintenance companies over the years. Undercuts is by far the best. Hope they stay in business for a long time!

It was a pleasure to work with Jason and Erica. They were responsive and prompt in our discussions of what do to with this area. Because I was working on the plans with them from out of state, communication was very important. They sent clear estimates, lists of possible plants, and diagrams of what might work. On the day of installation, Jason brought several perennials and grasses, ones we had discussed and a couple of other possibilities. After clearing the area of weeds, poison ivy, a failing juniper and daffodils that had overpopulated, we decided what would remain and what would be added. Jason was helpful, enthusiastic, and patient as he arranged the possibilities. It is clear he enjoys his profession. Once the final decisions were made, he and his employee planted and set the rock border. The result is just perfect! Throughout the process, Jason and Erica listened to me and considered what I needed (low maintenance, pops of color, seasonal foliage and deer resistant planting). I was completely satisfied with Undercuts!

They don't do one time jobs, only contracts.

Jason and his team do a wonderful job. They are timely, neat and efficient. I always know when they have been here because the yard looks so good when I get home. Jason is quick to respond whenever I have a question and immediately addresses anything that might be a concern. The seasonal clean ups are amazing!

Great! Much easier than bagging

There wasn't much to the work. Just removing leaves from the yard and gutters. Which they did as I asked for a fair price. But the responsiveness of this company was perhaps the best of any contractor of any type I have ever dealt with.

Showed up on time and went quickly.

They were FANTASTIC! They were punctual and professional. Two men worked for several hours on the job. I called for a free estimate and Jason went right out to take a look at the job. By the end of the day I had an estimate in hand that was very reasonable. Two work days later, the workers showed up early and cleaned up when they were finished beautifully. Jason then came out and checked on the job at the end of the day and made sure my father was pleased with the work. Since this was a Christmas gift for my father, my husband and I were thrilled with how happy he was with the work. If we have more work to be done, we'd definitely use Undercuts again.

Jason was terrific. He and his team showed up within a day of the estimate and completed the job in 2 days. My yard was beautiful. They were very professional and great to work with. Our yard is very difficult to keep groomed due to the large number and size of the beds. Jason's team had it it all cleaned up in no time. We will be using him to help us with tree trimming and pruning in the spring as well as regular yard maintenance. I couldn't be more pleased! I highly recommend this company.

The first 2 cuts were excellent. The last one was only so-so. We think it was because the grass got so long between cuts. It also looks like they skipped the weed removal and edging. The grass clippings were left all over the lawn, but with the first 2 cuts they were not. Overall so far we are pleased, so we're curious to see if they will need to do another cut before the winter hits. I gave a B cause we haven't been with them long enough to say they are amazing. But the guy on the phone was wonderful. Email they are a little slow to respond. But it all gets done. The company saw my review, and the owner came out and did our lawn himself and even apologized and explained that his crew told him that the grass had gotten too long and so he came himself to do a second cut so it wouldn't get too high! We had a chance to reconfirm fall clean up and and make a plan for winter upkeep. He was super nice and professional. I really appreciate that kind of responsiveness. It speaks a lot to the company and the people who work for him. I have updated my original review. This company is a rare gem and a model I wish most businesses would operate today. We will stay with this company a long time.

His crew really transformed my whole yard, which had become slightly overgrown. They inadvertently made a small mistake, and this is only worth mentioning because when I alerted Jason to it, he responded immediately and sent his crew back out to make it right. Sometimes the way a company handles a problem is just as important as how they handle day-to-day work. Undercuts boasts great customer service and I plan to use them again.

The cleared area is perfect to establish a veggie garden now. The landscaping around the house looks great. Jason asked me what I was looking for and then gave me excellent suggestions. I have the original landscaper refresh the yard every spring, as I did this year. But I was lazy and did not keep the yard up. I was even behind on mowing. It's surprising how fast the weeds take over. Undercuts gave me a competitive price, and had my yard looking better than ever in 2 days. I am very happy with the results. Owner came out and then emailed me a written quote within 24 hours. I had a deadline for the job to be done. He gave me a date he would do the job. Came out and did the job by deadline. Nice guy!

Jason, the owner, was very responsive - I contacted 6 providers from Angies List and two responded within 24 hours (in fact these were the only two that responded!. It was the busy time of year for yard work and the recent bad weather had everyone scrambling to catch up with existing clients so I was lucky to get anyone to respond!) Jason returned my messages, gave me an early date to meet with me, arrived on time, walked through my property and gave a lot of advice and pointers. He then got back to me quickly with a quote and a date to do the work within a week. Again, he arrived on the appointed date (a little late but he called to let me know) with a polite and professional team. They worked efficiently, did a great job and even returned on a Saturday to finish off a small detail. He took away all the trash and left my yard looking smart and well cared for. I appreciated the fact that he was responsive, reliable and fitted me in to his hectic schedule. have already scheduled Jason for my Fall clean up! I have recommended him to my friends and neighbors.

Jason and his staff fixed the standing water problem in my backyard. Every time it rained, a large puddle filled half of my yard. He installed a 50 gallon barrel filled with gravel in a 4ft hole underground. It was then attached to a grate through piping because of the roots in my yard. It was a great job and only took one day! It works great. They also cleaned up my garden and mulched and it has never looked better. I highly recommend Undercuts. Because they are so popular, they couldn't get to me right away but it was worth the wait!

Jason was responsive and professional throughout the project. He called me back the same day that I reached out to him through the Angie's list web page. He responded quickly with the proposal and the price was very competitive. I had been doing this work myself over past years so I had a good idea of what materials and labor were involved. He communicated well with me at the start of the project and his crew was on time (actually a little early) and got right to work His foreman explained where they would be starting and asked if I had any questions or concerns. The work was performed in a very professional manner and the crew cleaned up like they were never there, except that I had a beautiful landscaped yard. Lawn was in desperate need of a cut and called Jason at Undercuts for an estimate. Provided a prompt response and then came out immediately to cut the grass. Excellent job ? plan to use them throughout the summer.
