Discovered no water pressure late one evening and leaving for vacation next day. Called R&G at 11:30 pm and Rick walked us through the possible issues. He was at our house the next morning and found the problem quickly and at a minimal cost. He absolutely saved our Spring vacation as we could not have left with no water at the house. Very knowledgeable about water pumps, provided a quote to replace ours at it is reaching the end of it's life and I won't consider using anyone else!

Woke up @ 4:20am to no water. After some quick searching online, R&G popped up with excellent reviews at homeadvisore.com and Angie's list. I called R&G~ 5:30 am, and spoke to the owners (I believe); I will note the 410 number redirected me as being out of service, but the 1-800 number went thru. We were put on that morning's itinerary and Jeff & Dave were here at 10:30 am. Appreciated that they called at 10 to let me know they'd be here in about 30 minutes. When they got here, they inspected inside and outside; the well pump had failed (it was installed in 1971, and we were told we got more than typical life out of it) and needed to be replaced, as expected. Both Jeff and Dave were courteous, and the only thing that slowed them down was a plumbing materials run to the store to finish the job. They were done at 1pm, and we tested the water in the house with success. We ended up paying a bit more because some other materials with the submerged well pump needed to be replaced. Having leaned heavily on reviews here and not in a position to get other bids, I'm not sure if the price was an "A", but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. Plus, we were able to take advantage of an Angie's List coupon which saved us $100. Anyhow, we were without water for ~8-9 hours, and that's impressive given I feared we'd be waiting a day or so. In fact, we use Water Doctor for our whole-house treatment and R-O system, and I will talk to my wife about switching to R&G, as they do that type of work too.

On time and courteous. Price is half what I paid to Mermaid Water last year.

Went well. The man inspected a few other things for me and made recommendations for the Spring. Spring came and no return calls from multiple messages. I think this company may be out of business. Too bad.

These guys are GREAT! They diagnosed my job from photos shot from my iPhone. They suggested stainless steel fittings due to the acidity level of my water. They arranged the work. Showed up when they said they would. The job cost what they said it would and they went the extra mile with a no additional cost water test and a swap out of my sediment filters (I supplied the filters). Truly a delight to do business with!

Rick and Jeff came by on a Saturday after we had been away for a week and returned to a house with no water. Though they were busy, they kept in touch throughout the day so we remained confident they would come by and so we could run errands as needed. The service was efficient and effective and affordable. Would definitely recommend them and use them again.

We lost water on Saturday morning. Found Rick through Angie's list. Called and he was at my house within 3 hours. After some internal diagnosis he went out to the well cap and pull the pulled the pump, found the problem (an electrical short caused by rubbing against the wall) and fixed it in 2.5 hours. He is honest, knowledgeable and efficient a real professional. I'd use him again.

The short answer: They were friendly, honest and quick. I would definitely use them again. The long answer: I lost water on Friday, 4/3 and after some basic troubleshooting, I called R&G. I believe I spoke with Jim and explained my issue and he provided me with a few different scenarios that would cause my issue. He provided an estimate based on the type of pump and the depth of my well. He was willing to come out that evening but it was bad timing for me so I told them I would hold off until Monday. I ended up changing my mind on Saturday and they had no problem coming out. Rick called me about an hour ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. When I met him at my house he told me another guy would be showing up to help out. After about 15 minutes of electrical troubleshooting he was able to confirm it was an issue with my well pump. About this time, the other guy (Jeff?) showed up and they went to work pulling the pump. They had no problem with me hovering over them the entire time. They were very helpful answering dozens of questions. About 45 minutes or so, they had the new pump in and everything was sealed up. They made sure every little piece of scrap was cleaned up. After re-wiring my well control box the pump was turned back on and water was flowing. Initially, it looked like I was having some issues with water pressure but I think it was just some air in the system. He did a little paperwork and then came in and gave me the invoice which was cheaper than the estimate. I was also given the manual/warranty for the pump.

It went good. They are good when I have an emergency like my well pump went out right after we moved here and he came right away.

I NEEDED THEM TO COME AT THE BEGINNING OF THE APPOINTMENT WINDOW AND THEY ACCOMODATED ME. THEY WERE PUNCTUAL AND INFORMATIVE ABOUT THE ENTIRE PROCESS. I WOULD DEFINATELY USE THEM NEXT TIME.

One week prior to settlement, my water was tested as part of settlement and failed due to Total Coliform Bacteria being present in my well water. After chlorinating the well, the water was retested and failed again for Total Coliform Bacteria. Time was running out as I was scheduled to go to settlement within 1 week, so I contacted R&G Water Systems after reading through Angie's List. Rick from R&G answered the telephone and I explained about the problem with Total Coliform Bacteria being present in my well water and that Bleach Chlorination did not kill the bacteria. Rick recommended and guaranteed that a Ultraviolet (UV) Light would completely eliminate the bacteria immediately in my well water. He was also available immediately to install the unit on my house. Wow - no waiting period. I gave Rick the key code to the lock box on the front of the house since it was empty and I could not meet Rick until the following day. When I arrived, Rick was already gone, but the UV Light was already installed but not turned on yet. Rick was contacted and he told me that he had just left the house and wanted to make sure all the plumbing connections were completely sealed and dry before turning on the system. The house was put on bypass mode to bypass the water system until the next day when Rick arrived and turned on the system and started running the water through the water system and new UV Light. Rick took a sample of water to the test lab for water analysis. The test came back positive for Total Coliform Bacteria again. Rick retested the water a second time and took it back to the lab for retesting. This time the Total Coliform Bacteria was eliminated and I received a good water test report just in time for settlement. Rick's wife Georgina kept me informed by phone and email. They were both very pleasant to deal and Rick demonstrated a high sense of urgency as he delivered an excellent job in a very timely manner. I would highly recommend R&G Water Systems to anyone having a problem with their water. Your water is very important and should be tested for safety since you are drinking, cooking and bathing in it everyday. R&G will make sure it is 100% safe for your family. R&G was prepared for the test and worked everything out within the time they specified. They called ahead to let me know they were running late due to some construction on the road, but still nearly got there within 10 minutes of the appointment time. They took time to explain to me what type of well system, expansion tank, and how to look over the neutralizer system. I learned a lot about my setup while they were there to do the yield and quality test. I will gladly use them when maintenance is needed on my system.

Rick was easy to get ahold of and flexible in setting up a last minute appointment for that same evening to check my water pump. He charged only $25 to stop by and was on time. However, I never received the email quote for replacement he said he would send the next day

They did good work. They came in and stayed until they got it done. I shopped around and the price was about average. I didn’t have a problem with it.

It went very well. They came from Manchester though, which is quite a few miles away. They came and did this emergency work for us and did it went very well, and punctually, they were here the next day. We wouldn't use them again, only because of the travel time.

Once we got past a miscommunication is scheduling and a timing conflict issue all the work was done professionaly and expertly. We are very pleased with the arrangement of all the equipment and how it was placed actually looks better and neater than it did prior to having the new systems installed alongside the existing water softener. Everything works great and the water is so nice now that it is a pleasure using it. The difference was immediate. Installer was very thoughtful for placement of all equipment so that it wouldn't take up unnessary usable space. We are very pleased with all the work done and hope to have the systems serviced by this company for many years to come.

We called them and they were there that day! They were very wonderful, nice guys, and whatever they did was reasonable. The work they did was very good. They even did a little extra work they found in the basement.

They were at my home within three hours of me calling them, and they really knew what they were doing from the get go. They basically did a great job, and they did what needed to be done to get my leak fixed.

He was polite and and we would suggest that anyone that needs help with their water system call him. His name was Rick Roos. He looked at me straight in the eye, he shook my hand. I felt trusting about having him in the house. That is a big thing. My husband asked had he worked in this area before he mentioned a neighbor that he had worked for. I think that is a good thing. He is very clean. He did a fabulous job.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. MR ROOS CAME OUT TO OUR HOUSE ON A SUNDAY MORNING WITHIN 2 HOURS OF MY PHONE CALL, AS WE HAD NO WATER IN THE HOUSE. HE FOUND AND CORRECTED THE PROBLEM QUICKLY.
