Called twice and left messages. Also sent a message through Angie's list. No response.

I called Jim probably during the week of June 9th. He returned the first call but I missed it and after trading calls a few times he agreed to come out and take a look at our project. He came I believe on the morning of the 17th and provided an estimate. He said he typically charges materials plus $75 per hour up to a maximum of $500 per day. He said he would speak to his partner who does most of the drywall work, and then got back to us with an estimate of two days' labor. With some materials, the entire bid was $1,050. He said he could move some things around and get the job done on Thursday and Friday of that week (this was Tuesday), so we hired him. At 7:30 AM, the agreed time, Jim showed up with Will, who did the work. They talked through the project with us and then Will got started. He was there the entire day Thursday and most of the day Friday (back again promptly at 7:30) before completing the work. We were very satisfied to get this work done so we could get on to installing the kitchen cabinets. I appreciate that Jim was able to complete the work so quickly. Will was very professional and did a good job on the finishing work. We would definitely consider hiring them again for small projects.

Everything was done exactly how it was needed. Jim came to the house to look at the scope of the job and gave an estimate. He explained exactly what he was going to do and gave suggestions if needed (electrical needing to be moved). The price he gave was better than the two other ones I had. On the day of the job, my wife was actually the one who let him in. When I came home, Jim had already framed out the new opening for the medicine cabinet and was putting up the drywall. The new cabinet changed the bathroom. Its brighter, seems bigger, and we don't have to look at a hole in the wall. Jim is really personable and I would definitely use his services again.

I wanted to take the time to write this review even though I didn't end up selecting this company to perform the work. Unfortunately, right after we reached an agreement on the price, I had a frozen pipe & hot water heater issues that took precedence. By the time I could get the stairs/drywall work done, their schedule was booked up for the next several weeks. And, of course the need was a little more urgent by then. However, I appreciate the responsiveness, professionalism and the follow-up. I will definitely call Jim or Will if needed in the future.

was referred to will for the door installs. Will came over, went through all options with us, and helped us choose the doors we wanted. gave a great price, was very honest and upfront about all work details and showed up on the date he said he would. wouldn't even take the 2nd half of bill until we checked all work and were happy. fantastic. don't really find that these days.

My house is on a slab, built in 1952; we did not know what was underneath, or the extent of the issue. He tackled each issue as it was discovered, and did a masterful job of rebuilding the sub-floor. The door, base molding and shoe molding were replaced, no damage done. The weatherstripping for the front door was non-existent, so he fixed that too. The tile work was done carefully, to maximize usage of tiles, and for cosmetic appeal. He is a "measure twice, cut once" person, and I personally value that very highly. When we had to negotiate a price adjustment due to the additional work, he was extremely fair. His approach is professional and also pleasant, a rare combination. I feel lucky to have him working at my house.

Will called very fast after I inquired, and stopped by and gave me 2 options. I chose the cheaper option, but he did a super professional job! I had another quote from a different handyman which was 3x what this company did it for! Although the owner Jim is tied up with some personal tragedies, he counted on Will to do the job in a timely manner. I respect that very much. I will be hiring Your Handyman & More in the future for sure! They can be counted on for fast, inexpensive and professional work! Thank you Will and Jim!

The job was done to our complete satisfaction from start to finish! Jim Anderson set up the job and Will Frisby was the one who did the actual work. Jim then came at the end to be sure that we were satisfied. Mr Frisby was terrific--very skilled and attentive to every detail. He went out of his way to get every part of the job done to perfection. He arrived when he said he would, explained everything as he went along, and even came back another day to complete the job when there was an unexpected complication (no fault of his). I would definitely recommend this company and my husband and I would use them again in the future without hesitation.

Jim is great to work with. He always is punctual and does a great job. I'm fairly picky and Jim was happy to tweak things to get them just as I wanted. I would call Jim for future job and happily recommend him to my friends.

Jim came right on time and finished in about an hour and a half. There was no mess left after and he even took my old fan to throw away. I will definitely use him again and would definitely recommend him to others.

Jim did a wonderful job - we have no reservations about using him in the future. He came to see the potential job, sent us an estimate via email one week later. We replied stating we'd like to do the project. Scheduled a date. Jim scheduled to come between 8-8:30 and did call to let me know he'd be a few minutes late - it was not a problem for me. And I was grateful for the call, as often times we sit an wait for service people to show up without communication. Communication was excellent. Jim tiled exactly as we asked - he did a meticulous job, with excellent attention to details. He had hoped to finish the job in 2 days, but had no reservations about coming back the 3rd day to complete the work. He did not hurry to finish the job, as many contractors do. He was very cautious in our home - covering floors around the work area, cleaning up any scraps, dust etc - I think he may have left the entire area he worked in cleaner than it was when he started the job! He used an outside area to cut tiles and cleaned up every last scrap. He assured that finishing touches were done - and done well. He did everything he stated in the contract - and when he realized he forgot to include the quarter round (trim) in the contract, he accepted this as his oversight and did not increase the price. We were extremely pleased with his professionalism and look forward to doing business with him again. Highly recommend using Your Handyman and More.

Jim was very thorough and did a great job. He cleaned up meticulously after himself and I am recommending him to a couple of neighbors as well.

I called Jim when what should have been a simple home repair proved to be beyond my scope. He did an excellent job.

Well, the service provider was too busy to get to me so he recommended an associate, William Frisby. It took three weeks to coordinate everything, but after Mr. Frisby came, all went well. I thought the price was great , it included labor and material. I would use Mr. Frisby again, however he is not listed as an Angie's List provider, Handyman LLC is the provider , never met the owner of Handyman, LLC. Overall a good experience.

Jim is incredibly professional and personable. He provides a written estimate for all of his work and is transparent in his costs. I would highly recommend him and will definitely use his services again.

In my home I had some minor things that needed fixing. I needed to find a handyman, but I wanted to find one that lived in the area and had good word of mouth about the work they had completed. I tried asking friends and co-workers, but was coming up empty. It then dawned on me that duh, I'm a Angie's List member surely the list would lead me to my handyman. Sure enough the list led me to Jim Anderson owner of Your Handyman & More, LLC. His location was Timonium and his previous reviews were outstanding. Just from reading the majority of them I could see this handyman was a true professional. I called Jim and set up a date for a free estimate. He came out on a Fri morning in March around 8:30 am. I decided to ask him about all the projects I had in mind for my home. We walked around the house and I pointed out the things I wanted to possibly get fixed now and the things that I hoped to get fixed down the line. Jim had brought his notepad to take notes and his tape measure. He told me he would submit a proposal to me through e-mail letting me know about the work we had discussed. I received the proposal in my inbox a couple days later. In the proposal he indicated some of my projects he would have to pass on due to time restraints and some others because they were out of his area of expertise. Just the fact that Jim included this line in his proposal told me a great deal about his work ethic, professionalism and morals. He could have said he could do it all with no problems knowing that was not true. He even gave me the option of finding another handyman from the list that could do everything but I declined. His proposal also broke down the projects he could do and listed what materials he would use to fix something and how he would fix it. He also included an estimate of the time( About 5 Hrs) it would take to fix my above items and the proposal included all labor and material except where he specifically noted. He total fee was $390 with a 1/3 deposit of $130 due upon my acceptance of the proposal. I considered his proposal to clearly explain everything and the price was right. Jim came out and did the work on April 25th starting around 9 am and leaving around 1:30 pm.Everything looks great and I am very happy that I choose Jim Anderson from Your Handyman & More, LLC.

I called Jim after seeing his excellent ratings on Angie's List. He came over a couple days later, looked at my old post, gave me an estimate. We then waited a few weeks for the weather warm up a bit. In the meantime, I gave Jim the mail post and mailbox to hold onto -- and I'm glad I did. This allowed Jim to install the mail post when he had an opening in his schedule and it was bit warmer. He did an excellent job. It was nice to come one day and suddenly seeing my new mail post and mailbox up at the front of my house. My wife and I are very happy with Your Handyman and More. Jim did a terrific job. I will be working with him again in the future.

The project went well. The hinges on the door were repaired and the threshold installation was great. I would highly recommend.
