To our surprise, Elmar was able to perform the diagnosis and repair the same day we called, and the fee was a fraction of our previous provider's quote. The system is working great, and we have a new A/C technician we can trust.

While there were some delays in getting the install scheduled, the install went off without a hitch and we are extremely happy to have A/C in our kitchen and bedroom.

Introduction of contractor company was very nice and give us an impression of very knowledgeable representative. All work was done in a timely matter without any problem. We were very satisfyed with this company work.

They were on time, reasonably priced compared to other estimates are very pleasant to deal with.

Elmar was able to arrange 5-year 0% financing. Attic work of project was delayed by hot weather so it's still going.

First we found a wasps nest in the AC panel which he calmly took care of for me. Then he identified a weak capacitor and a blown capacitor in my 29 year old AC unit. Quickly replaced and go the unit up and running.

I am renovating a townhome and my former contractor installed a cheap Seabreeze mini split. After a week or so I figured out that the AC wasn't cooling, at all. The downstairs seemed to cool, but the upstairs just blew air. So I went looking for an HVAC company that was comfortable with mini-splits and Elmar fit the bill. I made an appointment for a maintenance call early in the morning and the young man who came showed up almost 1/2 an hour earlier than the time... okay fine with me. I had received an email a few days prior to remind me and that was helpful. Anyway, the young man came out, looked at the two inside units and the outside unit and told me what could be wrong. He believed it was a leak. I wasn't sure since I doubted the system never had any refrigerant to begin with. He told me what would be needed and how much it might cost. I thought about it for about a few minutes and agreed to the repair. Thankfully, he could start work on the repair on the spot. I think he tested the lines, found a leak, repaired the leak and the shoddy work the contractor did. Then he flushed??? the system and added the refrigerant. After about several hours I had cool honest to goodness AC. But he went above and beyond after I had written my check and he had walked out to sit in his truck. A few minutes into it I noticed water leaking onto my hardwood floors from the 1st floor unit. I ran outside to grab the young man and in about 10 minutes he fixed the problem (a bad clamp.... and a bad install). Excellent work. I would highly recommend.

Mark came on time and is very nice. He had solved a problem at another house and is nice to work with. He said there was a bad part (contactor) and that was replaced after he showed me how rusty it was ($121 for part). He returned after I called because the same issue was happening. He said there was too much freeon and took some out (another service charge). Again, the same problem. I called again and he said that I need to get an electrician, which I had asked about the first time.

Very professional and knowledgeable. The AC checkup and maintenance was a must for the summer months. Also, the customer service was very attentive, making sure that I knew exactly when the technician was arriving and confirming the appointment multiple times. I would definitely hire them again.

Everyone I worked with was very friendly. Cliff, Cory, and Codi listened to me, answered all of my questions, and did their best to accommodate my concerns. Codi came out to my house twice to go over where the lines would run on the exterior of my house, as I was very concerned about it looking as neat as possible. Cliff and Cory were very careful with the installation and really made an effort to place things just where I wanted them. I'm impressed that none of the exterior line coverings that I had painted to match my house didn't have any scratches (which could easily happen when installing them on the house)! I'm very happy with the installation.

Need a solution for central A/C. With the company's help we went with ductless system vs traditional ducted system. This was a great choice. Great company. The man Cliford they sent out to do the work and lead the crew made the job that much better truly a loyal, dedicated and knowledgeable employee. We will use them again and I would be comfortable recommending them to friends and family.

Base on other companies, I feel that their are the best qualified company for the project.

checking on why my air conditioner wasn't turning on. It was a broken thermostat! They would have replaced it for an extra fee but I declined as my regular repairman could do that for less. Very nice.

Initially, there was a bit of missed communication between the company representative that provided the estimate and me. The president of the company Mr. Duchev whom I really like and respect stepped in to provide clarification and I could not have hoped for a better outcome. It is a pleasure to work with individuals whom you can trust and who work hard to deliver a good product. I personally feel that they put exceptional customer service over profits. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Excellent. Professional, clean, on time, and friendly. We are so happy that we chose Elmar / Ductless America. Pricing was very reasonable for all this work. Three pictures of the installation. Note the dry wall had to be opened for access to the lines. They cleanly removed the drywall and it will be very easy to put it back.

We were told by another company that the motor of the AC unit was broken, and we needed to spend $6000 to replace the whole system. Needless to say most people don't have $6000 lying around and it felt pretty hectic to say the least. But I decided to get a second opinion and thankfully I did. The tech from Elmar was extremely professional, thorough, and took his time to diagnose and help us fix the problem. It turned out that it was an electrical problem and the problem with the thermostat itself. The tech install the new one in the system seem to be working fine. Elmar more saved us $6000 and we are grateful, and we will be returning customer.

The install was for a 2-story, 3 bedroom row home in Baltimore, with no attic, and a flat roof. We needed to cool two bedrooms at opposite ends of the house with individual temp controls and the first floor kitchen/dinning room and living room. The Elmar Staff listened attentively to our needs and concerns and presented an excellent, workable solution. Individually controlled units were installed in each bedroom on the second floor and the two units were installed back to back above an archway between the kitchen and dining/living room areas. They finished on time and came in at budget. Just in time for the 90+ degree weather we're having. An extra bonus was that one of the workers played laser-tag with the cat and now every time a workman shows up at the house now, the cat follows them around to play tag. Thank you Everyone at Elmar! It's going to be a cool summer!

Another repairman from another company told me I needed a new furnace and it must be as old as the house (100 years). However, I called this company and the repairman told me I could get a new furnace or I could let him try to diagnose it. I chose the diagnosis and he found that I needed a new water pump for the furnace and he thought the furnace might last a few more years. Good news! He installed the water pump and also advised me about the kind of filter to get (the least expensive would actually work better!). After 2-3 hours, I had a working furnace! The worker was very polite and kind.

The job went very well. Oleg was very professional. The job was performed well, for a good price, with good equipment. I'm very happy with the final product. They were able to schedule the job pretty quickly, and accommodate my schedule. I would definitely use them again.

On time, on budget. Had a few punch list items but made everything right.
