They were very good HVAC company. They were very good. My dad really liked them. They were awesome and excellent. They left good impression on my parents. The price was reasonable. My parents had a great exprience.

A mini split system was installed in the spring. Since it has not been hot enough to use, I can't rate the performance. They seemed to do a very thorough job, cleaned up and did little damage. I did have a complaint. The company responded in an unhelpful, unprofessional and surprising manner. I am giving them a low rating based mostly on the customer service.

Buddy guided me to find the switch which had strangely turned off during storm. Buddy was so friendly and professional and super helpful! I Will definitely use Elmar's again and highly and enthusiastically recommend!!!

An estimator came to the house and gave us an estimate on the spot. We asked repeatedly if the company gave Angi and senior discounts as indicated in their Angi listing. The estimator said he knew nothing about such discounts. Later we phoned the company and asked if they could provide an estimate including Angi and senior discounts as advertised. The person on the phone claimed to know nothing about such discounts and said nobody else did, either. He said he'd speak to the sales manager and get back to us in an hour. That was several days ago.

Every part of the process was good - Elmar Services made it easy to contact them, and promptly returned all calls and emails. The services and pricing were clearly communicated. The price was right, and the job was done quickly and professionally. No surprises, no hassle, great service. Will hire again.

I can’t say enough great things about Oleg and the rest of the folks at Elmar Services. We had a ductless unit installed in a sunroom that was often too hot or too cold and now the room is very comfortable. We also are having the basement finished and Oleg spared no detail in ensuring that we had the right mix of ductless units (2) in the basement along with being really thoughtful about where these units and the new supply vents and returns for the traditional ductwork ought to be located to have things comfortable in the new space. Two of our upstairs rooms also were habitually hard to keep as even as the rest of the house temperature-wise and Oleg installed two booster fans which have made an enormous difference. He even noticed that there was a gap in one of the metal seams in our main furnace as part of checking that everything was working properly and took care of repairing that. Excellent service and responsiveness. Everyone we interacted with during our projects (Adam, Carmen, Christian, Oleg, and Shav) was very pleasant and professional.

Good salesmen, don’t deliver. Installed a 5-unit minisplit AC. A month after I paid for what I assumed was a functional AC, I have a $15, 000 worth of electric fire hazard equipment I can't use. On the Monday after “completing” the job and getting paid, Ms Carmen, the office manager/dispatcher, informed me that they were “in the process of scheduling an inspection for the completed electrical work done during the installation. Once that is taken care of and we get the green light that it is all approved, we will then schedule the inspection for your permit.” All news to me. I assumed that I had a functional AC, I could use. During the next week, Ms Carmen had difficulty getting in touch with and scheduling the inspection with their electric subcontractor. One day it was “the subcontractor is at your house, are you by any chance at home so they can inspect.” No, I wasn’t at home. I happen to be at work during regular business hours. On another day, it was the electric subcontractor calling "I am at your house. Are you home by any chance?" No, I wasn't. I was finally able to deal directly with the electric subcontractor who eventually came and inspected the work. Next, I waited to hear from Elmar for final inspection. A week went by without me hearing from them. When I called, Ms Carmen informed me, that there was a problem with the electric installation, they had to come and fix it. At no point was I told that I should not use the units because they were improperly connected. An appointment was made for 2 weeks later. I confirmed the appointment the week before and yes, it was on their schedule. The appointment time came and went. When I called, Ms Carmen informed me that a technician had called out. Well, things happen. He called out in the morning. The appointment was in the middle of the day, and I, yet taking more time off, was waiting for a technician who was not going to come. When I asked to speak to the registered owner of the company, he didn’t know anything about what was going on. I am sure this will get resolved eventually, it is a registered and regulated business after all. But unless you have plenty of free time on your hands and nerves of steel to deal with a disorganized business, find someone else for your AC needs.

We had a first-rate experience working with Elmar Services. They specialize in installing tankless boilers and water heaters. Every step of the way, they were responsive. Their office manager responded to emails quickly, sent text messages, with photos of their employees, to track the status of the appointments. They came out, to follow up on some minor adjustments, after installation.

THE BEST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH A CONTRACTOR I needed a new AC unit installed. After contacting the Elmar, I received a text message with estimated time of arrival and the picture of the person who was going to give me an estimate. Their solution architect Vlad arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable and caring. He made recommendation on what I really needed and saved money by telling me what I don’t need to avoid unnecessary expenses. Right after that I received a call from office for scheduling. The team arrived on time to start the job and I cannot tell enough about how smoothly every went. Shav, Christian and Mark arrived on time and took care of everything and finished on time despite the difficulties of job due to the structure of my house and challenges of accessing the roof. Especially Shav and Christian who did the most of the work throughout the day. They were friendly, professional, and skilled. Next day Oleg arrived as scheduled on time and installed the new thermostat and the sensor. I needed some training since it is a new web-based type that I can turn on/off from out of town. He did a good job on knowledge transfer and showed me how to use the system. I have to also mention about Carmen and Cody who were always in contact, scheduling and planning from A to Z. Job was done for a good price with no hidden or after fact costs. Estimates were accurate for time and money. I couldn’t be happier. Fred

Had to replace a defective expansion tank. We also had problems with the boiler cycling off and on too often. We love the text alert from the tech prior to arrival. Unfortunately they weren't able to fix the cycling, but they were able to service the furnace enough that allowed me to fix it later by eliminating some other factors. Still, generally happy with the service.

Andrew arrived promptly at the time specified and got to work immediately. He was courteous, friendly with our dog (she’s a barker!), and thorough in his diagnostics of our heating unit. Also, when we thought the issue had been resolved and it turned out it hadn’t, he returned the same day and performed an even more thorough inspection in order to determine what the true problem was. I highly recommend this company, and Andrew is a true asset to them.

Service was done the same day I called! Mark was professional, straight to the point and thorough! I would use this company again and suggest you do too!

Installer was very professional, diagnosed the problem, contacted the mfg to authorize warranty replacement and then installed new unit (labor was not included) and corrected the inital venting/sloppy plumbing hook-up done by the original subcontractor/installer. The people at Elmar services are very professional, polite and punctual. We will use them again for ongoing maintenance of our unit.

Smooth professional instalation; knowegable installer;

On an exceptionally hot day the A/C died. I called Elmar after my usual A/C company didn't answer the phone. They were great. They had a technician there in about 2 hours and not only replaces the pipe that was clogged but showed me how to fix the problem if it happened again. At no time did I feel like they were trying to fleece me or upsell me. I will use them again.

All the technicians were fantastic, everyone was very friendly and professional and I would definitely hire again. I had a 3 zone mini split installed in my 85 year old house because I was finally fed up with window units, and I don’t know why I waited so long, fantastic decision. As a side note, all the technicians wore those little plastic booties to not track dirt in my house!

Elmar Services did a great job installing a new Mitsubishi Ductless HVAC system on the second floor of my home. Christian and Andrew were a pleasure to work with, and did outstanding work, including cleaning up after themselves at the end of each day. I will definitely be using Elmar again for future HVAC work, and for a tankless water heater.

It went very well. I called on Monday, May 21, 2018, to schedule an appointment, and they were able to accommodate us the next day (Tuesday the 22nd). The receptionist/scheduler provided an arrival window of 11:00 am - 12:30 pm. Landon, the technician, arrived promptly at 11:00. He wore shoe covers while walking through our house (the HVAC equipment is housed in a small room off our balcony). On the day of the service, we were alerted to Landon's whereabouts and arrival time via text messages, which also included a picture of Landon. From the time that he arrived, he was very professional and tested the heat pump in the utility room and the output at various diffusers inside. The service call lasted about an hour. He provided a verbal assessment before leaving and a copy of the invoice was emailed to me on Friday the 25th.

Michael arrived right on time for the preventive maintenance appointment on 5-22-19. He tested both the a/c and heat functions. Once he completed the evaluation, he explained that the system was working well, but that two capacitors were beginning to fail and would need to be replaced at some point to keep things running at peak performance. He was professional and courteous in his work and interactions. We considered his recommendation about the replacement of the capacitors and decided to have Elmar do that work as well. Michael undertook that work on 5-29-19, and again, he was punctual and handled things professionally. The cost of the preventive maintenance for both the a/c and heat was a flat fee of $189.00, and the cost of the capacitor replacement was $294.00.

The technician showed up promptly and completed the work in a timely manner.

The appointment went well. The technician was able to repair an inoperable zone in the system and perform the needed maintenance.

Our furnace stopped working in a Friday morning. I called Elmar around 9am. The receptionist was very nice, and she said they were able to send a technician that afternoon. The technician came around 1pm which was the exact the time they said he will arrive. Mark started working on our furnace right away, but found out that we needed a new motor for it. Since he didn't have it in stock, he searched it around and found it in a warehouse located at about 30 minute-drive from our house. He said that he can drive and get it in an hour, and he did! He spent almost the entire afternoon just for us. He showed me the inside of our furnace when the job was done and explained what was done to it. I was afraid to ask about the price for all the work and his time, but the charge was reasonable. He saved us from freezing the whole weekend by driving to get the motor and spending time for our furnace all afternoon. Not only we have a working furnace now, but it is working better than ever. We really appreciate Elmar's work and definitely recommend to anyone.
