The lady who booked the appointment made a good impression by calling back to make sure we knew there would be a small ($59) fee for the checkup, thus avoiding any surprises on the date of service. The young man who came was prompt, courteous and professional. He spent an entire hour going over our system, which is very good value for the money. Even better, he never gave us the slightest pressure to do any additional work or purchase anything. In fact, he reassured us that our 14-year-old system was working as designed! This was a huge weight off our minds. He did also make two recommendations: an inexpensive ($200) one to install a safety switch, and another one ($1100) to upgrade the insulation on our ductwork, which will address the situation with cool air during cold snaps. We will certainly hire the same company to do this work as soon as our budget allows.

Came on time. Was flexible about time. Very polite. This is an old furnace but they are keeping it going. replaced a nozzle and a filter. Checked on other parts.

Christian and DJ did an excellent job installing our system, going out of their way to place the indoor unit in a location where it just fit. The install looks clean and properly finished. We are very happy with the result.

Elmar was fabulous to work with from arranging the service appointment to completion of the service. Elmar worked around my schedule. The day before the appointment they sent a reminder including information on the technician that would be coming to my home. The day of the appointment, they texted to let me know the technician was on his way including his ETA. The technician was polite, professional, and thorough.

The man tested the AC conditioner and even cleaned the AC conditioner area for me. Everything was fine. I was impressed with his attention to detail and his effort to be thorough. He tested all of the equipment for me and was very informative. I appreciated his candor and will likely call his company when I have furnace or AC needs in the future.

The work took over a week. This delay had to do somewhat with the weather, which was fine, but they were not good at communicating to us about it. Then they left a huge hole in the plaster in our bedroom and never finished covering the hose and a hole they made in the wall of one closet. They left plaster dust all over the inside of a closet, even after Cody promised we wouldn't even notice they were there. They said they would cover the cost of fixing the plaster, and kept promising we were on their list when we'd call, but they never did. It has been months now since installation and they haven't fixed it. We spent a lot of money on the units and now are covering the cost of fixing their work. Their communication and professionalism was a huge disappointment.

The evap coil had been leaking slowly for some time (central AC). They gave an estimate with the information I provided with competitive cost. The technician was on time and professional.

Fine. Luckily this was not a rush, so they came out a few days or a week (I can't remember) after I contacted them and arranged for a time. I think my schedule had some problems too. Anyway, there was some pipe or whatever that needed to be insulated. It was insulated and so far so good. I had to patch up my own wall.

Great, inspection was completed, he told me what he was checking, and provided an invoice with notes of what was checked.

It went great. From the phone call to set it up to the guys that came out to do the install. Everyone was very polite, easy to work with, and didn't give us any problems. Everyone treated us with respect and the job was completed as expected with no surprises.

Vlad came to do the initial appraisal. He did an excellent job of finding and recommending the best solution without unneeded and unwanted upselling. The installation team did a great job of getting everything installed correctly and punctuality and we are extremely pleased with the end results.

Elmar installed our Mitsubishi split system (AC + heat) a couple years ago and did a great job in a really old idiosyncratic house. This time their service guy called in advanced and arrived on time, did the service efficiently and showed my wife how to clean the filters etc. Only issue was that we had a little disagreement (with the Elmar office, not the technician) about the terms of the Angie's List deal (whether it was valid for previous customers or not) but we quickly got it straightened out and the appt was scheduled promptly.

Tech showed up on time. He was professional in his interactions. Diagnosed the issue and fix it. Charged $85 per pound of R23 which is about average, maybe a bit on the high side

Very reliable and responsive. When county inspector requested additional pipes (completely unnecessary, but can you argue with him?), guys came back and installed them without additional charge. Will definitely hire them again. Thank you for great work, Oleg, Mark and Natalya.

Great! The man that came was friendly, professional, and provided me with information about the furnace. He asked me if I had any other questions.

Installation of 18,000btu wall unit on first floor and 12,000btu wall unit on second floor with one 36,000btu outdoor control unit in 90+ year old cape cod home. Having a ductless system installed is an expensive undertaking and I debated about it for several years. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. These two quiet indoor units replaced three noisy window air conditioners and completely cool my home. I waited to write this review because I wanted to see if my BG&E bills went down and they did. A lot! Since we've had a couple of very cool nights this September I also tried out the heat pump function just to take the chill from my home and it also worked well. That's how I will most likely use it this fall and next spring. On my advice one of my closest friends also had Elmar install one unit on the second floor of her home and she is also very happy with it. Vlad, the owner of the company, his wife Nataliya who supervises the office and Oleg, the primary installer, were all knowledgeable and easy to work with. All three are also very bright people. Oleg and his helper installed my system in one day with a minimum of disruption and in an esthetically pleasing manner. My neighbors were impressed with the exterior installation. I financed this large purchase through a Mitsubishi program at zero percent interest and also purchased an extended ten year warranty. Elmar Services has my recommendation and if you decide to get an estimate I would suggest that you ask for Vlad. He and Oleg are both smart and super problem solvers. One last note: the remotes that come with these units are overly complex and the instruction manual is ridiculously and unnecessarily complicated. Don't fret about it because you only need to use a few of the settings and for most people you will never use the remaining ninety percent. Just make certain before the installers leave that you know how to do the basics and it will all be good. For some reason or other the price won't 'take' in the 'cost of service' box. The total cost was $8,675.00.

The system had been installed incorrectly with no way to flush the water condensation line. A new valve was installed so that the line could be flushed easily to keep the overflow from happening again.

They were great. I think we've used them three times.

I've used them a few time and they actually are always really good. I think they have a base fee that you have to pay for the visit, as I recall, and it was probably $130 or something like that, but I don't remember exactly. I think their price was fairly reasonable. They've been very good.
