Went well, very professional.

It worked out extremely well. I’m very pleased. They went to the wrong house initially, After that, it worked out just fine. They made two trips. They came out and spent 45 minutes looking at the space. The second trip, for the install, it took 3 hours to do. The humidifier was installed by one tech.

The job was done by very excellent personal, I am very pleased with quality of the product and Elmar Mechanical Services.

He also checked everything on the unit, recommended new pressure relief valve and drained the expansion tank. Performed five gas analysis as above, leaving a written report. Very through, knowledgeable and professional.

After I purchased the deal, they came out for site visit to make sure that I could have a whole home bypass humidifier installed. Two people came out for this and they looked around the furnace fan and took some pictures. They were very nice and professional as they came in. At first they told me that I would have difficulty installing a bypass humidifier because of where the heating coil was located and the lack of room it gave them to work. They didn't want to cut the duct work where the coil was located for fear of damaging the coil. They told me it would be better if I installed a steam humidifier on the wall and that it would be significantly more expensive. They did let me know that if I decided not to get the more expensive humidifier they would refund the money I spent on the Angie's List deal. I told them I wanted to do some research and think about it. The next day, before I got a chance to call them, they called me and told me that they look into it some more and realized they would be able to install the humidifier just the way it is. I then scheduled an appointment to have it done. When the service man came out to install, he was also very kind and professional. He took a look and planned out how he was going to install the new duct work and humidifier. He told me that the way he would install it would end up humidifying the front of the house more than it would the back of the house. Understanding what I knew at the time about how humidifiers work, I agreed and he got to work. When he finished he packed everything up and left a clean work area. Not fully understanding the limitations and challenges of such work, I would say that my only complaint would be where the humidifier connects to the supply duct work. I feel as though the humidifier could have been installed in a more optimal location to do a better job of humidifying the entire house. But again, I don't fully understand this work and could be convinced that it would have meant double the work to install it in the way I'm thinking. All in all, I'm happy with the service and the product. It works well and I can feel the difference in the house. I bought a few hydrometers and put them around the house and I can see a difference.

All personnel were professionals, work was done as specified, price was great. My only question was why did the BGE rebate of $400.00 go to the company and not the customer. THe B in punctuality was the company's need to pick up supplies prior to arrival.

Working with Vlad and all the Elmar staff was a wonderful experience. From my first meeting with Vlad to discuss adding this system to the sunroom addition to the final installation everything was professional and excellent. Vlad spent lots of time measuring and determining the correct unit for my situation as well as educating me on the product and how to use it for best comfort and efficiency. I had many questions that he answered clearly and with great patience. I was able to speak to other customers to lean about their experience with this company and the system. The installer was very skilled and did and very good job with the installation, cleaned up well after and trained me in the use of the system. The system is very quiet, and it rated as highly efficient which is important to me. I have only used the heat so far, but I am looking forward to having a comfortable room in the summer as well.

Vlad came out and gave us the price then a few days later the had the gentleman come out to install the unit, both men were very professional and the man who did the install was very neat and didn't leave any mess. He spent time explaining the unit to both my wife and me. I will use them again.

Provider came to our home to assess the installation of a humidifier. Provider's rep was on time, very courteous and knowledgeable. It was determined that a more expensive option would likely be the best choice for our heater configuration. I requested and received a quote for this more expensive alternative. Upon further review of the level of performance that would be delivered by this humidifier, we decided there was minimal benefit to the installation and informed the provider that we were cancelling the order.

Great company. From initial scheduling, to work and completion everything was done efficiently, clean, professional. Every question was answered with knowledge of the subject. I would definitely recommend this company and will happily use them in the future.

They were punctual, polite, and professional. As the work progressed they would answer to my satisfaction any questions I had. As this was going to be a two day project and it was still very hot out, they made sure that the new AC unit would be fully operational for the evening of the first day; completing the heating unit and humidifier installation on day two. Thus I did not have to swelter that first night! When they completed their work they cleaned up any debris they created and took away the old parts/units. You couldn't tell that I had work done after they left as they were so thorough in their clean-up! Before leaving they went over the operational aspects of the new units and the new thermostat, making sure I understood how it all worked. They did all that despite the fact that their total price (for a considerably higher quality system with a much higher efficiency rating than the four other HVAC companies which quoted me on an HVAC replacement system) beat their competition by a good margin! To top it off they contacted me a few days after to ask me if everything was running smoothly and if I had any other questions! That's what I call good service and follow-up!!! I would highly recommend this company to anyone seeking HVAC work.

We have an older rowhouse without AC and we decided we wanted to add zoned cooling and heating - in addition to cooling we wanted something we could use to supplement our gas boiler as our primary heat source. Above certain temperatures in the heating season we think the heat pump will actually serve as our primary heat source. We also considered conventional, attic-installed Air conditioning only, but decided we might gain more flexibility if we went with a ductless heat pump system. We were happy to chance upon Elmar Mechanical Services, and to find that Elmar Mechanical is a Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor. As such the firm has a great deal of expertise in ductless heat pumps and air conditioners. I called the firm and Natalya made an appointment for Vlad and I to meet to discuss our requirements. Vlad arrived as scheduled, took some time to explain our options and to discuss solutions. Before he left he took dimensions of the rooms in our home, noted the type and size of the windows and doors in our home, and estimated the R-value of our attic insulation. He used this information to calculate our heating and cooling load and to size an appropriate system. A few days later Vlad sent us a detailed estimate which included results from his Manual J calculations and we decided to go with his firm. We are very happy we did. Of all the firms and meetings we had with other HVAC contractors, Vlad's was the only firm to do a Manual J calculation. They prepared and returned a professionally prepared estimate of work in a matter of days. No other firms we dealt with took this extra time to prepare a proper estimate and no other firms were as prompt in returning an estimate of any sort. Some firms I met with didn't provide an estimate at all. Elmar scheduled 2 1/2 days for the installation. Each morning I got a call from Natalya to inform me the team was on the way, and minutes later they would arrive. They were never late and everyone on the crew was courteous, pleasant, professional, and all were respectful of our property. They cleaned as they worked and before they left. Vlad happened to be here for the startup and he explained how to use the remote controls and to generally show us how the system works. The installation went extremely well from our perspective - it was neatly done and the equipment performance exceeds our expectations. I have only positive things to say about our experience with everyone at Elmar Mechanical Services. We are investigating tankless water heaters and Elmar Mechanical will be our first and only choice for this work - they are so good to work with.

Very well I think on a pretty tricky install, on a very old home and unit. Vlad, Oleg, and Mark were very professional and we will use them again soon.

They were able to install and complete the job in about 5 hours. The team was very good and I was pleased overall. I had them do a little extra duct work while they were here.

Vlad and the installation crew were prompt, courteous, and professional, as was Natalia in the office. Good folks to do business with. I'm confident the installations were done right and that they will stand behind their work. Would definitely use again.

Elmar Mechanical Services came out and looked at the job and could not install that unit in my house. He offered up another option, but the price was over 1,200.00 compared to the 399.00 deal. The person was very professional and fixed a leak for free.

Saw an ad on angies list and went ahead with the purchase. We were quickly contacted by the office, and were scheduled for a measurement appointment. Afterwards, a later appointment was made for the installation. The installation was originally for a different humidifier; we decided to upgrade to another one, but not because of a sales pitch. Installation day, the two installers came in and did their work quickly, and didn't leave until after the humidifier was seen to work. Throughout the process, we were contacted repeatedly by their office so as to ensure that we got what we wanted, when we needed it. The installers were very nice and personable, and answered all questions professionally. They worked quickly, and cleanly. They will easily receive more requests for work from me, as well as referrals.

Owner of company arrived and was very nice. He placed booties on his feet to protect my carpet. He explained the service he provides and the functionality of the humidifier device. He explained the device advertized would put out a maximum of 30% humidity. I currently have a stand-alone humidifier and keep 50% humidity so the particular device would not supply the level of humidity I desired. He gave me an estimate of $468 on top of the $399 coupon to get the desired unit that would provide the humidity level I desired. For $867 I can live with my present unit. I could replace my current unit 7+ times for that amount. Owner was very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable.

Elmar was very responsive to setting up an onsite review to see if the in-house humidifier would work. After Vlad came and inspected my residence, he notified me that the humidifier offered in the deal would meet my needs to get the whole up to the recommended humidity levels. His honesty was very appreciated and I would do business with them again.

These guys are awesome. We were in a bind as our original Navien installer bailed on us, and there are few plumbers in our area that service these models. We were a little worried that they hadn't been in business long and had not found many reviews (but the ones we found were all good), and took a chance. We are in Owings Mills. Our unit had an error code on and off for some time and then just stopped working altogether. They answered the phone right away. Natalia made sure all the details were set ahead of time. There were several calls from them, but we were glad they were taking the time to set things up right. Scheduled us w/in 48 hours. Olav was prompt and polite, arrived right on time. Got right to work, didn't waste time- no taking a bunch of extended personal calls/texts or disappearing from the site, etc. (which we had experienced before from other types of servicers- you all know what we're talking about!). We appreciated that, they are very professional. Let us know what was happening w/our unit as he was fixing. Didn't gouge or run up pricing at all. Just did the work in two hours. Handled all our warranty and Navien company communications on their end. Our unit works now and we wished we'd found these guys sooner. We will call them again for air conditioning work in the summer.

We live in a very old house and over the years have investigated the possibility of central air conditioning , but it was never possible without major renovations to the house and great expense. This year we decided to try again. We got 5 new proposals from various contractors, but again none was satisfactory. Then we happened upon Elmar Mechanical via Angie's List and finally had success! We have a ductless system which required no invasive work on the house, and from my point of view, was a simple installation. However, the decision to do this was no easy matter. We were initially hesitant about the ductless system, but Vlad worked with us patiently and diligently. He prepared 6 different proposals before we finally decided on a configuration. It was a painstaking procedure and Vlad couldn't have been more helpful. Near the end of the installation it was determined that we needed n electrical upgrade and Vlad arranged for 2 estimates. We decided on one, and at the last minute we were presented with a new bill 50% higher than the original estimate. Again, Vlad stepped in and dealt with the electrical company. Don't know what transpired but we paid the original price. The electrician was apparently also satisfied because on the day after the installation he sent someone to help us set up a new breaker chart. All in all, the experience with Elmar Mechanical Services was excellent, and I highly recommend them.

Vlad and the Oleg did a great job, explaining the options, planning for the install, and then the actual install. They were all professional and kept our house so clean. Cannot be more pleased with the entire package. Courteous, professional, timely, thorough and a great overall value. True professionals that care about the customer. This company is top notch! They gave a timely estimate and came very quickly to install even though they were very busy. They are extremely knowledgeable and took time to explain the installation. I am a very picky consumer and they far exceeded my expectations.

I bought investment property and it is necessary to do full rehab . HVAC system looks original about 30 years old and I deside to change it .I call Vlad ; he came for estimate ; gave me price ; I like it and next time he came and instal unit . He did great job ; fast and clean . I am very pleased for his service !!!! Originally my sister introduce me to him ; he did some maintenance work for her unit and mine 3-4 years ago and also he change my water heater unit recently . I Highly Recommend Vlad to my friends and business partners !
