I purchased one of these last year from ELMAR using Angie's list. I was so pleased with the performance of that unit that I decided to put in another one in an area where I was using electric baseboard heating. Called back this year and they are now Ductless America but with the same professionalism and standards I experienced previously. They have a team that is second to none. Codi came out and set it up for installation and since I was already familiar with the pricing, etc. it was a smooth ride. The installers, Charles and Donnell were efficient, neat and kept me advised of their progress. If I ever decide to finish off my attic, I'll call them again.

We had several men working throughout our home for three days. It is astounding that at the end of the installation we liked all of them: courteous, friendly, hardworking, thorough, conscientious. We have a 200-year-old house that presented many challenges, including the necessity to work in a crawl space, where there is really no room to crawl. They were tenacious. The work was masterful.

Went great! They showed up early, were fairly quiet, were clean. Did a great job!

They arrived on time for the estimate. The estimate was provided in a timely manner. We chose to go with another company that was cheaper for the same product.

Workmen were punctual, careful, neat, cleaned up carefully after job . Fully answered all of my questions, moved old window AC's to front porch at my request.

Not only did the tech do all the work required he also examined the in-line humidifier and the close ducts to the furnace. He discovered that the company (a different one) that did our duct cleaning had ignored the major input duct behind the humidifier and showed me that it was quite dusty. This is a great company and they've done other work for us. Their management works well with the customers and the techs are thorough, clean, and efficient. No wasted time. The tech showed up within 30 seconds of the appointment start time.

Asim, the comfort specialist was very professional and followed the whole process of installation to make sure it was perfect. He evern offered to come back and paint a spot that got spackled.

Elmar provided fabulous service from beginning to end. They were very knowledgeable about the air conditioning, and explained ervything very clearly. One of their employees, Donnell, was very particular about making sure the work was done to perfection. He was very proud of his work, and it showed. The air conditioning itself is fabulous, and so energy efficient ! I couldn't be happier. Just wish I had this installed a few years earlier ! I highly recommend both the Mitsubishi Ductless systems as well as Elmar Mechanical.

I contacted them on 7/24 to obtain an estimate. We made an appointment for 7/28, when they came out and explained the various options available and we settled on the unit that would be the most effective and economical for me. The were extremely courteous, friendly and informative. They contacted me the next day to let me know they had recalculated the dimensions and were going to upgrade my unit to a higher BTU rating at no additional cost to me. They also increased my installation warranty from one to two years for free. The unit was installed on 8/4 and works and looks great. The installers were also very courteous and friendly and were happy to discuss the installation process with me. The original sales person came out as well during the installation to ensure things were to my satisfaction. I was very pleased with the entire process and would definitely recommend Ductless America to my friends and family.

The Elmar rep clearly knew more about these systems than the other companies that gave us estimates and he gave us the lowest price. The technician who installed the system was also very knowledgeable and he and his son did a fine job with the installation. They were very clean and showed us how to operate the system before they left.

Dval & Isem came to give estimates. Very patient and explained everything in full detail. The crew was led by Olaf - wonderful representative and very knowledgeable.

The workers were great! I checked on their progress throughout the day and they let me know that they would be braking for lunch. Everything was handled professionally and courteously. The men answered my questions and were very professional!

They arrived on schedule and were very professional. I just came home from the hospital and was concerned about the air being off to long but the made sure that I stayed comfortable. Everyone from the sales rep to the workers were so pleasant - I would not hesitate doing business with them again or referring my friends to them. A special thanks to Olaf - he was fantastic. The job was finished on time and I am very satisfied.

Initially purchased a coupon which I had to return because I only needed to service a single zone. Once we got past that, it was smooth sailing. Asim was knowledgeable about all the different discounts, even BGE, and submitted my financing application. This was an expense which I had not anticipated and probably would have put off until next year had it not been for his assistance. For the installation, Tom arrived on time and proceeded to get it done. His supervisor arrived later and assisted in the set up. It took a little less than the estimated time to complete the installation. Now that I have had occasion to "test drive" both the heating and cooling I can say that I am delighted with this system. It is quiet! I will probably get another one for the kitchen and laundry area in the spring. This definitely beats window units and wall board heaters. I was positively impressed with the entire Elmar team and plan to use them in the future.

From the moment they first arrived and placed "little booties" over their shoes, I knew I wanted to work with Elmar. The owner personally assisted with the quote and assigned a project manager for the job. The project manager was on site to start the day of the install. He remained onsite as the new unit was delivered and placed. His confidence in his crew (one for the furnace, the other for the AC) was reassuring to me. The PM returned at the end of the day to confirm that the furnace was roughed in properly to provide heat overnight. They arrived the next morning to complete the job. I must say they are very particular with regard to finish work. Everything was reinforced with fine precision and one would not know that a humidifier was added to the system. Its a bulky looking thing but they took the time to "hide" it as best they could. They even relocated the place to insert a filter because I recently had back surgery. they made it easily accessable. To ensure I was completely satisfied, they came back to my house at the end of May to confirm my AC was working properly and went so far as to test the fluid levels for proper compression. Overall, the crew was courteous and professional. The job was completed on time and completely to my satisfaction.

These guys are great. We've used them before to service our other water heater, so I knew they wouldn't let us down on this. You know the number one thing I look for in service people is INTEGRITY. El Mar has that by the truckload. I know they won't rip me off, always do the best that they can, and back up their service. Olev is very detail oriented, he double checks everything and explaining it to you so you know what's going on. They are also respectful of your property, even wearing booties to not mess up your carpet. We wouldn't use any one else!

Went very well. Service provider was very professional, timely, and took care of the emergency after business hours!

Donnell Jones went above and beyond, staying late, to get our air conditioner up & running. He was very thorough explaining how to operate our new unit. The office was very efficient in answering our calls and providing detailed receipts for the service provided.

They did a very good job. I left a key for them and they did the job. They probably should have known that new electric wires needed to be run before they started job but it was not a big deal for me. They cleaned up the area once they were complete. The sales persons were very knowledgeable and the workers new the work that needed to be done.

The called and sent up a pre installation inspection. Then came back and did the installation in 1 day.

I was very pleased with this Company. Asim was extremely responsive and easy to deal with. I thought the price was very reasonable. I got it as part of Angie's List "Big Deal." I did end up upgarding the system and had to pay a little extra for some electrical work but did not think cost of additional items was unreasonable. Would definitely recommend them

This was perhaps the single best service experience I've ever had. The furnace in our new house was over 30 years old and we knew it was just a matter of time until it died, but we had a service contract through our utility provider so we figured we were covered for a while. Nonetheless, I was looking around and getting estimates. I got 4 estimates and followed up with each of them. Only Vlad from Elmar Mechanical Services answered all of my questions, was willing to discuss other options that I mentioned, and wasn't trying to "sell" me. I'm the kind of person who wants to understand the details of what I'm buying, and I know that this can make me a bit of an annoying customer. But Vlad genuinely enjoyed explaining and helping me understand. On top of this, once I decided on equipment, his estimate was the cheapest! We agreed on terms and scheduled the installation date. It turned out that less than a week after agreeing on the sale, my furnace died and needed a part that would take 2-3 days to arrive. It was mid-January and cold, so we needed heat! I called Elmar Mechanical to see if it was possible to move up our install date because we had no heat at all at that point. They had already scheduled other installs so they didn't think they'd be able to get to me before my scheduled install date -- which was totally understandable, but worth asking about. I didn't realize it at that point, but they immediately started talking to other customers and it turned out that they were able to move around appointments and do my install early! (I want to thank those other folks, too, who ever they are, for letting their installs be delayed so we wouldn't have to be in the cold!) The next day, Oleg and his team showed up bright and early. They were all great, and Oleg stayed until after 7 PM to ensure that we had heat before he left. He talked through what was happening during the install and took care of everything. Very professional and efficient. I can't say enough positive things about this entire experience. I have already recommended Elmar Mechanical to one friend and will happily recommend them to any one else looking for HVAC.
