"NEVER AGAIN! Customer service is lacking to say the least. I searched around for a dumpster rental to clean out my basement. I chose Junk King because of the ratings and the fact that they try to recycle the items rather than dump them. I have plenty of things that I knew they could indeed recycle and give to charity of whatever. Booking was easy and I scheduled for saturday MORNING! I notified the people that I had to help me load the dumpster to be here saturday morning. When overtime was offered at work for saturday, I declined and I rescheduled an appointment at Dept of Motor Vehicles. Today, saturday morning we are all here and ready!! We waited and nothing. I then get a call from Chris Jones. He says they were unloading the dumpster they had and I was next on the list and they would be here around 1115am. Now I'm mad because we have been here and ready since 9am. My so called MORNING appointment is now looking to be afternoon which I did not book for and I am holding my people up. Come 1215pm, an hour past the time I was told he would be here, I have not heard from him and my people are leaving. I call Junk King to cancel. The person at customer service was nice and asked me if I wanted him to call to see what the hold up was. I declined. The person who told me he would be here at 1115a should have called me and let me know what was happening. I told them to cancel the dumpster and refund my card. As soon as I hung up with customer service, I received a email for the cancellation and then my door bell rings. I answer and I tell the driver that I just cancelled the dumpster. He says to me, "oh I was going to give you an extra $50 off"....REALLY?!?! I explained how my people who were going to help me load the dumpster are now gone, I rescheduled a MVA appointment AND, I turned down 10 hours of overtime at work!!!! What exactly is 50 bucks going to do for me at this point?? All he could say was sorry about that, jumped in his truck and sped away. So now I am back to square one. I basement full of stuff and overtime money lost. Not to mention I now have to find another dumpster company and hope my friends want to help me out again once I do get one. My Junk King experience was not a very good one!!"
