"All work was completed in a professional manner from initial planning through all phases of construction. The job site was maintained as expected. AES worked with us on a few small changes we requested along the way as well. I felt very comfortable with all the craftsperson’s at work in our home. There was great communication with AES throughout the job. I would use their services in the future."

"River View's work quality is excellent, but numerous issues marred our experience. Chris, the owner, reduced our room's dimensions by 1ft without our consent after blueprint issues, offering no discount. Requests to correct a window placement were ignored until we intervened on-site. Scheduling was chaotic, forcing us to leave our home unsecured for 2 months, and disrupting our sleep with sudden construction. When the new foundation wasn't level, they initially demanded extra payment for correction, only fixing it after our strong objections, and then repeatedly complaining about the cost. A paint mix-up & a ceiling fan misunderstanding (we had to buy one at additional expense) further compounded issues. Chris frequently missed appointments, misgendered our son, and shared inappropriate stories. He repeatedly disrupted our son's 1st birthday to demand final payment, then missed the meeting and tried to add hidden fees. Thus, despite the great final product, I cannot recommend them."

"We are very happy with the Rios Remodeling's work on our bathroom. We did a complete remodel, tearing out the shower, floors, and all fixtures. They completed the work in about 10 days. Everyone was professional and when we pointed out something we felt wasn't right, Ricky and Renee fixed it without argument or tacking on a lot of surprise fees. We supplied all of the tile, paint, and fixtures while Rios supplied the construction materials and labor. Of the 3 quotes we got, they were certainly the most affordable. We would definitely work with them again!"

After bad experiences with other reno projects in the past, we were very worried about taking on another project. Misha put us to ease after our first meeting, and our respect for him grew every day. His men were friendly and very accommodating, they began to feel like family. Misha provided great counsel when we were planning the reno, had wonderful suggestions, and was open to all our ideas. Their prices were very reasonable in comparison with other area contractors. "I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent retaining wall replacement project completed by John Krause Construction (JKC) at my property. After reading positive reviews and receiving an estimate that, although over my budget, seemed reasonable for the work involved, I made the decision to hire JKC. Unfortunately, this has proven to be a significant mistake, and I am left extremely disappointed with both the quality of work and the overall experience. Here are the main issues I encountered: 1. Unprofessional Behavior: The crew exhibited unacceptable behavior while working on my property. Not only did I witness them disposing of bodily fluids on-site, but they were also disrespectful and dismissive. when I raised concerns no response was received. I now smell urine when entering and exiting my garage. 2. Unresponsive Ownership: I have attempted to reach out to the owner multiple times to address these concerns and resolve the issues, but my messages have been met with silence. This lack of communication is incredibly frustrating and has only added to my disappointment. The owner refused to speak on the phone since the owner was made aware of the call being recorded. 3. Property Damage: During the construction process, my property was left damaged in multiple areas. This included e.g., landscaping destruction, equipment damage. Personal crew members vehicles being driven through my yard leaving deep tire marks damage. 4. Subpar Quality of Work: Despite the high cost of the project, the final result does not meet the standards outlined in the estimate or contract. No proper grading was completed. Every time it rains pools of water sits in front and behind the wall. The response received was. “we have passed all inspections.  There will be some water pooling while it is settling still. Plus the fact of the hard rain today, it will happen.” The wall has been completed for 2 months. Given the extensive problems, stress and anxiety I have faced. I do not recommend John Krause Construction."

"I had such a great team working on my home. Every project was completed exactly how I requested and done timely. The most important factor for me was how they cleaned up after themselves after every job. Also, the constant communication. The work is definitely quality. I did everything in phases just to get a feel of their work. I had electrical and painting done in my office and mudroom. I later decided to hire them to complete some electrical, painting, gym, and storage built out in my basement. I am saving up for the full bathroom I want done in my basement. Will definitely hire them again."
