Everything from the bidding process, through completion, was handled with the utmost care and professionalism. Dimitri and every person who he brought into our home treated it as anyone would want their own to be treated. This was not a small project. They vaulted the ceiling in the living area, completely removing the roof on half the house, and did a full new roof. Matched the existing red oak hardwood flooring, and sanded/re-stained the entire upstairs. All the plumbing and electrical in the entire house was replace. New kitchen, 3.5 new bathrooms, finished basement, combined two bedrooms to make a master suite. New HVAC. New generator…. You name it, and it was done. When all was said and done, I think our two hall bedrooms were the one walls that weren’t torn down. We could not possibly recommend Dimitri and his company (his two sons work with him as well) any higher. They are honest, and hard working. Old school in all the best ways.

Last week Dimitri and his crew finished remodeling 2 of my bathrooms. I am thrilled with the results! They gutted both bathrooms down to the studs and properly rebuilt the walls with cement backer board in the showers and on the floors. These gentlemen are true artists. They painstakingly cut my 12”x24” tiles so that my niche was centered. They took their time to make sure my mosaic accent tile was smooth and even. Since the walls in my old house aren’t square, Dimitri worked his magic to make my vanities fit against the walls. In my Master bathroom, 3 walls were removed in order to enlarge my shower and overall bathroom space. They moved plumbing, set up new electrical sockets and lights, installed a new exhaust fan which vents to the outside and removed a wall in order to put in a smooth gliding pocket door. The installation of a glass frameless shower door and a glass door above the tub was perfect; the doors float along the tracks as smooth as silk. This is a family owned business. Dimitri, his two sons and another crew member came to work on time every day. Even though they worked long hours, it was apparent that they loved their job. I certainly reaped the benefits of their expertise. I highly recommend this company for any remodeling job. I will definitely call them back to remodel my third bathroom and put a composite material like Trex on my deck.

Everything about Dimitri's company is the absolute best. Dimitri and his sons and employees are very knowledgeable, hard-working, respectful and they did a fabulous job with my bathroom. This bathroom had been previously gutted by someone else so everything in there had to be done. New plumbing and electrics had to be installed as well as new tiles on the floor and on the walls. They put in a new shower, toilet and vanity -and now I have the most gorgeous bathroom, I love it. The men always arrived when they said they would; they are very friendly and kind as well as being courteous. This is a family business and Dimitri and his sons all work together, to get the job done. These guys are truly professionals. Dimitri, his sons and family have a wide knowledge of renovations and a wide range of skills. As a result of their great work in my home, I also asked them to install two custom storm doors, back and front and now I am getting a quote for a new deck and covered porch. I trust Dimitri's company to do a great job no matter what it is - a complete renovation or a small job and as such I highly recommend the company. These guys are my heroes!!

Dimitri’s Home Improvement is a gem. They have done 3 extensive projects for us: roof repair, window replacement treated as new construction, and a master bath renovation down to the joists and studs and back again. This last project presented some unusual challenges, which were resolved perfectly and beautifully. Their work is precise and painstaking. It is on time and on budget. We did not hesitate to leave the house with work ongoing. Their plumbing subcontractor was equally reliable. We will, without hesitation, call on Dimitri’s for future projects. Dimitri and his son, Jim, are gentlemen and they are artists. Dimitri ably guided us through both design and technical questions that arose along the way. He communicates well and brought us into the loop each day. Both gents take great pride in their work and are dedicated to customer satisfaction. They are a great pleasure to work with. And their work stands the test of time. We are grateful to have found such expert and dependable craftsmen.

Better than I could have ever expected, Dimitri and his crew were fantastic. Their attention to detail and delivering what I wanted was AMAZING. Although it took longer than anticipated by everyone, I deeply appreciate the methodical way Dimitri and his team took every single measure necessary to ensure that my home was structurally safe and sound for me and my family. Every team member and every subcontractor in his employ was kind, polite, and thorough in their jobs. I really cannot imagine what situation I would be in without Dimitri and his team. Every step of the way, they kept me informed and helped me problem solve issue after issue. They were angels on earth.

Dimitri and his team were professional, hard working and paid attention to detail. They were easy to work with and I would highly recommend them. I will use them again for future projects.

After a scheduling hiccup which led me to me pushing out the start date, Dimitri got started and was off like a shot! Meticulously clean, very informative...and the work turned out beautifully. A corner of my bathroom had diagonal drywall, because the previous person didn't want to cut two pieces to go around a pole. He fixed that, which gave me space for a bigger sink. He also raised the shower head up a foot for me, and moved the electrical outlet to somewhere usable (previously in the light fixture). Very hard worker - I don't see this kind of work ethic very often. I will be saving up to have him do my kitchen.

Dimitri?s is truly a ?1st Class? company of highly-skilled professionals that provide impeccable work at honest and fair pricing. Our particular work operations involved typically messy-type work in multiple areas throughout the house but each area was left completely spotless when the work was finished. Dimitri?s is reminiscent of times long ago when work was performed by skilled people who actually cared about quality and customer satisfaction. Initially, we called Dimitri to get a third estimate for a new full bath in our unfinished basement. We were about to host guests for about 6 months so an extra bath would be helpful. Dimitri came to our home promptly, thoroughly scoped out the job, and responded back in two days with a great price. The other two contractors did not adequately scope out their work very well. Both were overpriced, unprofessional, and neither provided estimates back for several weeks. However, as it turns out, our guests will not be staying as long as planned. Therefore, we decided to hold up on the extra bath at this time but decided to go ahead with a new utility tub and some electrical outlets for now. On 8/5/15, Dimitri?s installed a new utility tub (from scratch) in our basement area and installed four new electrical outlets. While on the job, we added the replacement of internal plumbing in three toilets too. We are very impressed and appreciative of Dimitri?s work quality, efficiency and honesty. In fact, we?ve added them on our ?phone contact list? for future needs and for our personal reference to family and friends. Again, Dimitri?s is a1st Class company with 1st Class skilled people who provide 1st Class work!! Thank you Dimitri, Dino, and Kim for your excellent work.

There were three people that came out. We like that they were a good company and had good price. They were responsible. There were no unexpected issues.

I've been pleased with previous jobs they've done for me. And I am pleased with this one. There were a few minor issues relating to my old house not being square, but they solved the problem quickly and got on with the job. I am quite pleased with their attention to detail and finish work. The new doors do not have the character that the old (original) dutch doors did, but they also do not leak like a sieve. The new doors were an upgrade to fiberglass that Dimitri's knowledge of the product encouraged me to make from steel and I am very happy with the products they chose. While they were here, I asked them to switch the doorknob from the old kitchen door to the basement and they did that. At my request, they also took a look at my roof (I'd been told it had 5-7 years when we bought the house, 7 years ago) and told me that it did not need to be replaced anytime soon. They do good work and are honest and trustworthy. I highly recommend them.

Dimitri and his crew did an incredible job with our house. This was a big job, but it went more smoothly than I could have imagined. Dimitri showed up when he said he would, the work was outstanding, and the project was completed earlier than expected despite cold weather delays! Because of the work that was being done, we had to move out of the house for a few months. Dimitri made sure we could move in again as soon as possible. Dimitri also made some great recommendations about how we should do certain things in the house. Turns out all the ideas he had were good ones! We have returned to Dimitri's Home Improvement many times since this initial project, and we have recommended them to our friends, family and neighbors.

INITIALLY I GAVE THIS COMPANY THE WRONG REVIEW WHIICH WAS NEGATIVE. I WAS ANGRY WITH ANOTHER COMPANY AND MIS=TYPED DIMITRI IN ERROR. ALL IN ALL THE NEGOTIATIONS, DICKERING OF THE PRIICEAND WORKED WITH ALOT OF PRORITIZING IDEAS, DIMITRI GOT ME THRU. A VERY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE IN WORKING WITH HIIS CREW. WE HAVE GONE SO FAR AS TO SCHEDULE ANOTHER PROJECT IN MY HOME.

Dimitri and his crew were very professional. They presented us a contract before starting that outlined everything that they were to do along with the pricing. There were no surprises. They did come across a problem with our plumbing when they tried to disconnect the ice maker to the fridge, and they took care of it quickly and didn't miss a beat. The contract said that the work would be completed within four days, they only needed two and a half days. We have actually used them before when we needed a back porch and they did beautiful work. Everything that they have done for me has turned out to look much better than I expected. I will be using them in the future for additional projects. In summary, their prices are reasonable, their work is professional, and they are friendly, trustworthy guys that are pleasant to have around. A++++++

Work was completed in a timely fashion and the little things corrected immediately. I was very pleased with the quality of the work and will not hesitate to use his services again.

Dimitri did our first addition in 2007 and the second addition in 2010. His team showed up every day on time & completed both additions as per our contractual agreement. We have had to call him back on occasion as there was settling to the additions and cracks to repair which is always expected. He came back without delay and at no additional costs. I asked Dimitri how long would he agree to come back if we were to still experience settling cracks. He said forever and I know he meant it.

It went well the installation no problems as of yet. just that Mr. D was extremely late due to previous job he was working on. I had idea smoke detectors were so expensive @ $75.00 per hard wire smoke detector. But due to emergent of them i had no choice.

I use Dimitri's Home Improvement Inc for anything. I have a more personal relationship with them because I use them so often so I can just call them up and they'll come over the next day. They're very prompt and honest. I'll keep using them. I like the personal relationship that I feel I have with them. I even sort of invited them to my wedding.

They plastered, patched, sanded and painted my very long and high stairway. It was have been a very messy job. However, they left my house clean and in ship shape. I have used them 3 times.

Very well! Always timely and thorough. A little higher priced than other contractors, but very competent job.

Went extremely well. Very pleased with quality of materials & professionalism of personnel. Absolutely plan to use this contractor again.
