The job has not even started and I have never had a better experience with any contractor or person like Mario in a while. I will update my review after completion of the project, which I’m very eager to see. ***** UPDATE ***** It's been about two weeks with our finished kitchen and we could not be happier. It looks and FEELS amazing. The main factors of renovating our kitchen was our squeaky floors and lack of space in the cabinets. When expressing these concerns during the design phase, Mario was able to take that into account, while also keeping our budget in mind. We were very thankful that we felt he was working WITH us, instead of bullying us or convince to spend outside of our means. Being budget friendly did not jeopardize the final outcome in quality or style. Also, during the design project, we were having trouble narrowing down our quartz color choice, and we were fortunate enough that Mario was able to provide us with a recommendation with his various years in the business and the recommendation came out beautifully! During the quote/selection process, Mario supplied us with a very detailed and tiered quote, so that everything was transparent & laid out the different costs for each option we were interested in. He also helped coordinate a visit so we could see the necessary samples in person to ensure we would be happy with the result, with very short notice on our part! As is realistic with most construction projects, there were a few bumps along the road, but we were lucky enough that Mario's team was able to come up with quick and innovative solutions that did not affect the price, look, or timeline. Mario made it a point to make himself available throughout the process to discuss or address any concerns in a timely manner. Whenever we picked at certain details, we brought it to his attention and were very apologetic for being nitpicky. Mario was quick to reassured us and even he encouraged us to speak up so that we would be 100% satisfied with the final outcome. He would often say that this was an investment that he wanted us to enjoy for years to come. The entire renovation included, but not limited to: - demoed old, cracked and improperly installed ceramic tiling - reinforced our subfloor so that there is NO squeaky!!! (This has been particularly amazing for us!) - installed Floating LVT - added a water shut-off valve for the fridge - demoed old formica countertops - installed beautiful quartz countertop and extending it to include a bar hang - demoed old cabinets - installed new cabinets that included various pull-out shelves for storage and increase the overall height of the cabinets - rerouted the range vent in a more logical and aesthetically pleasing way His team was very dedicated to the final project and worked long hours, as needed, but were still respectful of our time and space. I have already recommended Mario and his team to various people I know for any house projects!

I am very thorough in everything that I do & when my wife & I decided to extend our house to expand both our MB & Home Office we requested quotes from 6 different contractors. In all my experience working with contractors I never had a more positive experience than we did with Mario & MRDC. Mario makes you feel like family and you genuinely feel like he is treating your house as it was his. He brought up things about the house that no other contractor even considered that had no impact on the proposal’s costs now that is different. From first phone conversation to the very detailed proposal Mario was 100% professional & transparent and put us at ease with none of that sales BS. His proposal detailed every cost & his designs were absolutely spot on. When it came down to it it was a no brainer to go with Mario & MRDC.

Mario's team showed up exactly when he said they would- stuck to a timeline- and when things went wrong (as they always do in construction) he showed up to fix it himself without hesitation! I highly recommend.
