When we decided to convert our garage into a playroom/bedroom we assumed it would be an exhausting process but we absolutely loved working with Mario and his crew. They did a great job keeping us informed of timelines and what to expect next. They made great recommendations for layout, fixtures, windows, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They even indulged us in some crazy paint choices and installed a Murphy bed for us to complete our vision. Love the new space and extra storage. Highly recommend working with them on your house projects.

MRDC has done a great job consulting us on our project. We have an antique home in PG County, which makes building a very complicated process. Mario is knowledgeable and patient. Great to work with.

Mario was recommended to me by my realtor. He provided a competitive estimate and was willing to work with me on budget (given the insurance uncertainties regarding the major water damage to my unit) and on my tight timeline due to tenant occupancy. He was personable, professional, and provided excellent ideas and suggestions to consider that ultimately enhanced the project's outcome and hopefully my future resale value. Mario and his team work on multiple projects at the same time, which at times resulted in sporadic communication. Nonetheless, he was very responsive and open to feedback when I made it clear I needed something. He thoroughly addressed any question or concern I had during the project, and I appreciated the progress photos via CompanyCame while traveling overseas. He went the extra mile to custom build a drawer in the kitchen and address issues left by the electrician I hired prior to contracting MRDC. If I had to do it again, I would have MRDC do the electrical.

Mario is a pleasure to work with! This is our first major home renovation, and Mario has been available at all times to answer all of our questions. He’s friendly, personable, and has a great eye for design. His team has worked diligently on our basement and bathroom remodel and we are happy with what we see. We are looking forward to working with him on our next project.

Completed the project on the agreed upon schedule. He was able to repair window leaks that other contractors were unable to fix in a high rise. Very helpful in identifying best cost approach - what to replace and what to leave. In a high rise neighborhood where units are on the market for 45 days, mine sold in 3 days because it looked so nice when he was done. Very reputable. I have worked with the company on two projects now.

Completed job on schedule and on budget. For window replacement he went far beyond the original spec, using pvc boards and rubber gasket material (not part of normal installation) to insure that there would be no leaks. He was focused on making sure the windows would last a long time, not just installing them. Very courteous.

Bottom Line: I am so grateful that we got to partner with MRDC Solutions for our kitchen remodel, and genuinely look forward to working with him again for other projects on our “five-year plan.” We met Mario through Ashley Swann at Cygnus Studio, and this design/build duo is fit for HGTV! They were helpful and responsive throughout our project. Both were considerate and accommodating to our busy schedules, offering us planning calls or text conversations later in the evenings after we put our kiddo to bed so we could all focus. That kind of grace and thoughtfulness made this big, disruptive project much easier to live through. It has been a pleasure to get to know Mario and his team, who we joked are practically family by now! Some More Context: When we bought our house this spring it was *almost* right, but there were some things we knew we wanted to update right away. We reached out to Ashley for the design, and she brought in Mario to bring the design to life. We met with them on site and virtually several times to get the details lined up for a multi-phase refresh of the house which included cosmetic updates, new flooring in the basement, and biggest of all, a complete kitchen remodel. First phase included removing wallpaper from the majority of the first and second floors (entryway, office, first floor hallway, stairwell, second floor hallway, and two bedrooms). This became known as the part of the project “not to be spoken of again” because of how challenging the removal was. Mario was quick to bring in extra hands and work extra hours to get it done before we moved in. They ended up having to re-plaster all the walls before painting and finishing. The work was done with exceptional care, and the final result is perfect. Second phase was to finish the “finished basement” with flooring on top of the concrete slab. When we did the walk through with Mario it was clear we needed to level the concrete floors before installing the flooring. He gave us his honest advice on how to proceed, and checked in regularly to show us the progress and describe what was going on that day. The leveling ended up being a bigger job than anticipated and Mario was communicative and supportive. His first thoughts were always how project hiccups were going to affect us (by now we were living in the house) and did everything he could to minimize disruption to our family and routines. The final phase was the kitchen remodel. We had waited months for the cabinets to be delivered and by the time we were ready to start the work we had been living in the house for two months. Mario was careful to put together a project plan that took into account the longest lead-time (the counter fabrication and installation) and worked with that timeline to squeeze in all the rest of the work while we waited on the counters. He and his crew gutted the kitchen (cabinets, appliances, flooring) and installed all the new cabinets in a week so we could get the counter fabricators out to measure for the counter template within days of starting the remodel. While the counters were being prepped, his crew moved a door and converted it to a pocket door, installed new tile flooring (including a super cool design element that fades the tile into the existing hardwood), and prepared the gas and plumbing. We ran into a few delays with the counter fabricator, but once installed Mario and his team finished the rest of the project in just one more week. It was truly efficient and meticulous work. Every time we had questions, Mario was quick to respond and react. He genuinely cares about our family and his work reflects not only his love for the craft, but his desire to create special places for people. We feel so fortunate to have met and worked with Mario, and look forward to working with him again!

Mario and team completed a partial renovation of our entire new (to us) house in a tight 3-4 week timeline so we could move in. And then complete phase II of the project, respectfully and quickly while we were living in the house. The project was extensive. His communication and thoroughness with the scope and flexibility in product selection was critical. While generally an hour plus late if in person, he didn't rush communication and spent an incredible amount of time with us to ensure the work was done right, including fixing things when they were not done well or there were errors. Mario has high standards, his team is solid, and you pay for that -- and you should. The work included: installation of new hardwood floors throughout the house; moving a bathroom and shifting walls in existing bedrooms; redoing two other bathrooms; installing new lighting in six rooms and fans in four rooms; replacing main stairwell, railings, and spindles; repairing drywall and painting entire house walls and ceilings; and installing new hardware on all doors.

Wonderful! Mario and his team were professional and communicative. We shared our idea and Mario made it into a vision and a few days later, our reality. We received daily updates on the project progress and if there were any changes, they were communicated to us promptly. Our bedroom is now our oasis.

The reason bathroom remodeling is not an Olympic sport is because Mario and his team would take GOLD every single time!!! Seriously, Mario and his team are amazing! They are all about taking care of you and get the job done right. We could not be more pleased with our new bathroom! Mario moved up our renovation in his schedule and worked hard to get our bathroom done because my wife was 9 months pregnant and we wanted the bathroom done before the baby arrived. They finished the day before the birth! That is great customer service - I mean he really took care of my daily and me! 5 stars! Two thumbs up! GOLD MEDAL!

We are totally pleased with Mario and his entire team. They were professional, timely and thorough. Mario provided us with a computerized rendering of what the finished project would look like. This helped us to visualize the space and the completed project looks identical to that which he showed us initially. The team worked hard to completed the job and were willing and able to improvise as we made a few additional requests even after the project had started. We are looking forward to working with Mario and his team for projects in the future and highly recommend them for any home improvement projects!

We gave Mario the benefit of the doubt even after he didn’t show up for our 4pm appointment on 4/30/21. When he did reach out it was already 5:20pm,he stated he would come the following day at 10:30am and did not show up until 11:55am. Punctuality is obviously not a strong point for him. Mario gave some good suggestions but that’s about it. We were told we’d receive an estimate by the following week, needless to say we did not. My husband and I each attempted to reach Mario and received zero communication back. While Mario seems to be a nice person, his lack of response leaves much to be desired. Maybe he’s overwhelmed but he should not commit to returning an estimate and then not follow through, It is beyond rude and so unprofessional. I have heard that he’s good once you sign the contract but we couldn’t even get that far. We never write poor reviews but felt so compelled to do so, our friends did heard back from him but only after reaching out and being very stern in their voicemail to him. I do not have the time nor the energy to invest in someone who doesn’t have the decency to respond. Even if he couldn’t follow through on the estimate if he had responded to make us aware we would have been understanding. I would 100% find another contractor…it’s worth paying more if they are responsive!

This review is well overdue but let me start by saying thank you MRDC Solutions for reshaping, revamping, and reinventing the bathroom that I grew up using at my parents house. My parents have had our house for well over 20+ years and we haven’t had much remodeling in all the years I’ve lived under their roof so when i heard that they were remodeling my bathroom i was shocked. First because I can’t believe they decided to do that after I move out and second why go through the trouble of the bathroom rarely gets used. Well now that it has been complete I am floored(in a good way, also they redid the floors) the bathroom is amazing honestly it’s resort quality and they added a small window that lights up the bathroom throughout the day and when i say light up I really mean it. Everything looks amazing from the flooring to the countertop to the light switch. I would say I’m speechless but this is the longest review I have ever written. All in all except job Mario! I can’t wait to buy a house of my own to hire you and the crew. Thanks for helping the family.

Amazing! MRDC Solutions was very thorough. They discovered wood rot when they began the project and took the time to do the work correctly. Clear communication throughout the entire process. High-quality work, I would definitely recommend.

Great communication, realistic timelines which were accurate. Gave expert advice on best flooring options and cosmetic work for the facility. Worked great together in bringing my vision to life. Every patient that visits comments on how nice the layout and design of the facility is.

The work went very smoothly. MRDC moved their timeline up to accommodate completing the concrete in advance of coming rain, and the majority of the work was completed ahead of schedule. Everything we were looking for was delivered to perfection, and perhaps even a bit more than we expected in terms of work and quality. They did not over-engineer the project, like some of the other contractors we met with, but kept it simple, and just right to accommodate our needs. We are thrilled!

Mario and the MRDC Solutions crew were phenomenal from beginning to end. Mario was able to work within my budget to offer beautiful solutions to the issues I needed to address. His team designed and installed my new laundry room floor; they perfectly matched and installed high end hardwoods throughout my house; and when I realized that I needed carpet in a large area of the house, he thought outside of the box to find a luxurious option that I could afford. Mario is extremely personable and easy to work with; he has integrity, which is not always easy to find these days. His crew is top-notch: professional, highly skilled, polite, and timely. My house looked beautiful when the work was finished, with the new carpets vacuumed, my furniture cared for, and almost no dust anywhere. After they fixed up the house I was selling, I hired them to install beautiful wall to wall carpet in my new home, and I will be hiring them again in the future for other jobs. Mario was also meticulous about documenting all of the work with photographs, and keeping track of all expenses, which were all easily found in one place on the app. I can’t recommend MRDC Solutions enough—they live up to their name, as they truly offered solutions for my various needs.

Mario is an honest, generous, and hard working person. He went out of his way to answer our questions and deliver the specialty ent result we were seeking.

Using MRDC Solutions with Mario Crisalli from start to finish was incredible. We started with only 2 Phases of renovations that later became a 3 Phases. Mario tackled all of our projects and ideas with confidence and professionalism. The biggest project of tearing down a wall and hanging a huge beam because the area was low bearing, made me really nervous. Mario stepped in to reassure me the project would be completed on time and would be beautiful. Mario went to get the beam instead of having it delivered to meet the suspense he gave us. Mario communicated every detail with daily updates, changes and suggestions. I trusted my forever home in the hands of MRDC Solutions and will refer ALL my friends wanting home updates to him. Mario is a top notch, caring, creative, and an incredible general contractor. He made our forever home beautiful beyond our imagination.

This review will not be complete without telling you about the entrepreneur himself. Mario is simply the very definition of a highly enlightened, dedicated and successful entrepreneur! Mario/MRDC Solutions is the Nordstrom of Home improvement Contracting. This is really our major reason for writing this review. We want to pay it forward. Mario took away all of our frustrations and made us feel happy again about homeownership. What else can I say? As investors and consumers, we would be TOTALLY confident, if not ecstatic, if we woke up tomorrow and hear that Mario is the new CEO of Apple. He is just that Good! I look forward to updating you as we move on to future projects with Mario/MRDC Solutions.

I was impressed with Mario and MRDC from the time he first came over to discuss the remodeling of my basement and the replacement of my porch lights all the way through the completion of the project. The quality of the work is excellent and his team finished on time. I could not ask for more. Mario made sure I understood all the work that was to be performed and addressed any questions I had. Mario was understanding when we had to delay the start of the project at the last minute and worked around my schedule for a new start date. During the project, a couple of things did not go as planned and Mario made adjustments that would have been invisible to me had I not been 'Hands-On'. I would highly recommend Mario and MRDC Solutions for your home project and remodeling needs.

Mario and his team were excellent! Pricing was upfront and fair. Easy to use online application to plan/communicate. Mario was especially great at communicating lead times and schedules for the various flooring options we explored. We were under a tight timeframe, and Mario and his team were able to get everything done in one day. The basement was a tricky job with uneven flooring, so my wife and I were very impressed with how well the basement flooring leveling/repairing and vinyl flooring turned out. Would definitely recommend!

I couldn't be happier with MRDC Solutions' remodel of my Condo. After renting out my condo for 6 years I had decided to sell and badly needed a refresh. The kitchen had never been touched and a lot of other features were dated. Mario (the Owner) specializes in make over renovations and served as a skilled guide in all decision making. He was not only able to help assemble the scheme I was looking for, but provided access to many products and price points. I asked him for a turn key solution and he delivered in every aspect. Most importantly, he helped me maximize return by not going over board. He's very approachable, patient and cares about his craft. I'm looking forward to working with him again on all my projects.

We LOVE our new kitchen! Mario was great. All new cabinets with pull out drawers, hidden trash, beautiful countertops and backsplash. Project was finished in under 2 weeks and we couldn't be happier. We already have another project planned for MRDC. Great work -- Great price -- Great people!
