Even tho it was on a weekend, they came immediately, knowing it was one of the hottest days of the summer. They took the trouble to acquire a special part and installed it the same day

Joe was the only HVAC company to ask me specific questions about my issues over the phone. He spent over two hours running diagnostics and trying to fix the problem. We ended up deciding to get a new condenser unit and he was so committed that he completed the install on a Friday night since we were having a barbecue on Saturday. I would highly recommend his company.

Very customer oriented

Upon my initial call, the owner promised me a technician would be to my house within a half hour which was extremely quick and quite then nice surprise because other companies I called could not get there until tomorrow. When a technician that was currently working near our house was unable to get to us by the promised time, the owner left the office to get to us to keep our scheduled appointment. He was extremely knowledgeable and detailed as he checked out my entire system. He taught me several things and even stood patiently in my attic (which had to be over 105 degrees) as he explained the different options I had while showing me exactly what he was talking about. When it turned out that my air flow problem was user error on my part, he waived the $75 diagnostic fee and only charged me the $50 appointment fee. I will definitely call him again and I highly recommend this company.

Our AC went out on a Sunday afternoon (on a 90+ degree day). We had no sooner hit submit on homeadvisor when the phone rang from JDL. They were able to come to our home in less than 1 hour and did so. When they arrived, they quickly diagnosed the problem, gave me several options to fit my budget and fixed the issue quickly and courteously. I would highly recommend them for all HVAC issues.

Very fast service

My old Heat Pump went out during a long hot spell and AC contractors were very busy. JDL HVAC promptly gave me several estimates and we agreed on a scope of work and a price to replace my heat pump. He was booked up in the mornings but worked on my job Friday evening and Saturday to get it installed ASAP. They ran into several unexpected problems but worked through them to get the unit installed at the contract price.

My air conditioner was taking forever to cool the house. The first company I called came and took one look at the outside hvac unite and told me I needed a new unit that would cost $5k - $10k. I wanted a 2nd opinion and called JDL hvac services. The person I spoke with was the owner and he spent a lot of time with me on the phone discussing possible causes. The owner was the person who came to my home and first he checked the temperature of the air from the ducks and saw that it wasn't as cool as it should be. Next he checked the air filter and saw that it was ok. He explained that both of these are possible causes of the problem. Then he checked the unit outside and saw that the condenser coils needed to be cleaned and the coolant was low. He cleaned the coils and added coolant and the air is working great. Because he wasn't able to get to me until 2 weeks after I called him he gave me some good discounts. I received great service from the owner who spent a lot of time answering my questions and explaining things to me. A company w/great customer service and work ethic and will not try to rip you off.

I had someone at my home within 30 minutes. Although they could not fix the problem the same day, they were back very early the following day and done within 2 hours or less. The technician was extremely professional and gave recommendations for preventive maintenance, which was appreciated. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely utilize their services in the future if needed.

Very thorough, explained the problem and solutions carefully and thoroughly. I needed an immediate solution so I wouldn't be without a/c which they provided. I need a new HVAC system and have chosen JDL HVAC Services to do the installation because of their knowledge, professionalism, fair pricing and overall customer service. My project was replacing a 50 year old through the wall AC unit. I received four quotes and JDL was the most reasonable by far. The team was prompt and courteous, and dedicated to getting the install finished right. I can't speak highly enough of my experience with Joe and the team. Thank you, guys. So I hired JDL as an emergency hire when my AC went out, they came right away. They charged me for a diagnostic and a travel fee. They misdiagnosed the problem and said I needed a new compressor/motor. And it would be $700 for the repair. They came the next day and put in the new motor and said it wasn't working and my entire unit was shot and needed replaced, which would cost thousands. When they left they took my old motor and left the unit disassembled so it was impossible to even get a second opinion. In their process of checking my unit. They drained all my Freon. Making it even more difficult to get a proper opinion. I had to have my new contractor tell them on the phone that it was their responsibility to leave my unit as they saw it originally. They sent a random guy who could barely speak English the next day to put in the old "broken" motor. So after all the hassle to get them to fix the damage they caused. I ended up calling BGEhome and they got the unit and "broken" motor running fine. For a fraction of what JDL quoted. So I'm down The diagnostic and travel fee. With nothing but bunch of not needed stress. If you want to be over charged for problems that don't exist these are the guys

The service I received from JDL HVAC Services was exceptional. They diagnosed my AC unit the same day of contact and immediately started searching for the part that was needed. They found the part, based on the manufacturer's suggestion, and installed it the next day. No guess work--JDL HVAC Services diagnosed the problem accurately. I am very appreciative that they explained the problem and why it happened, and provided information on how to prevent future AC failures. JDL HVAC Services also cleaned my AC unit and checked the freon level. I didn't realize my AC unit was dirty--I was so, so wrong! Regularly servicing my AC unit could have prevented this problem. Thanks JDL HVAC Services for your knowledge, your concern for your customers and your friendliness! I'm cool now.
