This was my first time using this company. After returning from a trip,, I noticed that my AC's performance was not quite right. I found this company through Angie's List and Google. I requested an appointment on the website after normal business hours and was contacted immediately. Ire showed up on time and was extremely professional. He took the time to explain the issues and offered recommendations to avoid them in the future. I am definitely adding JDL HVAC LLC to my list of service providers.

Initially I was very pleased with this company. The people on the phone were very pleasant and helpful. It was a bit of wait, around 10 minutes, but they were super friendly and helpful. I told Olivia when she did the intake that I had a coupon from JDL's own website for $50 off. She then asked me to bring it up when I pay for the service. Fair enough. Then I'm told a $30 deposit is required but it is credited back at the end. So where things get dicey is when I am given an estimate, Isak comes out to the house, very professional and pleasant. He says the outside unit needs a new coil. He said he'd come back Friday 7/24. He comes back then and now there's an issue with the indoor unit, the temperature gauge. So then he says Monday. Joe (owner) handled the call because he said the billing people weren't there yesterday. He was trying his best but he even admitted he doesn't normally handle billing. It's a good thing we called at 12:30 pm (my window was 7am-1pm) because I was then told no one was planning to come out because I supposedly hadn't signed the estimate. Joe jumped into assumptions and said "Ma'am, you opened it 3 times so you can't tell me you didn't get it." I never said I didn't get it. What was not explained to me is that apparently you need to sign off "Approve" in the estimate. But even Joe couldn't find that button and if he couldn't find it how can a customer? And how would a customer know if it was never explained to them they must sign off before anyone will come out? Joe then admitted he will do better next time and tell customers they must e-sign the approval before a technician will come out. Factor came on Monday and was also very nice and did thorough work. I now have A/C so I am super grateful for that and I even told them that first off when I called back. He was very prompt, came at 2 p.m. practically right when we got off the phone. I was very impressed. I am super thankful to have A/C. I asked Factor if he knew about how to apply the coupon but he didn't and that's okay, I figured that since he doesn't work in billing. When I called and spoke with Olivia, she explained my coupon could not be applied because it's after the fact. Even though I had mentioned the coupon several times prior when calling. I did get flustered and yes I'll admit I forgot to mention at the time of payment. However, Joe doesn't work billing anyway so it could not have been applied when paying. That's the part where I think they need to work with me on. I know my situation was unique and I appreciate all they've done for me, but blocking me from speaking with management is not the appropriate step. I think Olivia could at least pass on a customer's number when they request to speak with management. don't believe in spreading bad juju so I would use them again, BUT, I think they need to a better job of communicating.

In the summer of 2019, during the hottest part of the season, our air conditioning stopped working. I am a senior citizen with asthma so I was very uncomfortable. After several calls to other companies including BGE we were told it would be at least 5 to 10 days before anyone could come out. BGE did come out and the estimate would have required a an incredible amount of money and still could not have been done in at least 5 days. I found JDL on Home Advisors . A gentleman came out that afternoon, gave us a great price and said it could be done the next day. Oh the relief. Everyone was very professional and so friendly. I have only great things to say about them and would not hesitate to recommend them to others and I have.

It can be difficult to find skilled home repair professionals that are also considerate and accommodating. This is the second great experience that I've had with JDL HVAC Services and I plan to keep using them for my HVAC needs.

The technician was very forceful and if I didn't make the decision on the sport he threaten to leave. I was looking for an estimate I was never given that. They also said there is no warranty on their work. I felt like was forced to do what the technician said was best. I was never able to recheck any of his work either.

They came out and put in some kind of capacitator. The system worked for an hour after they left. He mentioned that he thought the motor was going out but said he was only able to fix working parts. He said I cant tell that you how long it will last. I asked for a refund after it only lasted an hour but they refused to refund. I called to ask for the owner and I was told to Google it. They refused to give me an estimates and to help me. I spoke with Olivia and Joe the manager. They sent over an estimate for $9800 for entire system and we felt that was price gouging. The workers were pleasant but the office staff were rude and unprofessional.

It went well. We lost our A/C in the middle of a heat wave and they were able to get us going within a few days while others would have taken longer.

Our air conditioner stopped cooling on a Friday before a heat wave and by Saturday afternoon it was fixed, and not as an expensive emergency service call. Isak did a professional job accurately diagnosing the problem and fixing it in short order. Very happy with the service.

Exceptional service, from the first interaction to the completed service. I got a return call immediately after submitting the query. Isak arrived within 90 minutes and completed the work within about an hour. He was knowledgeable and effective, he clearly enjoys his work and JDL is lucky to have him. He fixed the problem, gave me appropriate updates, and even added value by explaining to me how to handle a (self-inflicted) complicated wiring situation. My day was not going well when we didn't have heat, but JDL and Isak made it a great day after-all. Would definitely rehire. Professional, courteous, and customer-focused.

Isak was so great! He was informative and kept us in the loop of what was being done and what will need to resolve the issue permanently. The electric company could not get out here until next week, while JDL has already fixed the problem and got the heat going!

Wow factor exceeded! Xavier was prompt and called to advised on the EXACT time he would arrive. He was efficient and kept me informed along the way. I was impressed with the amount of time that was needed to provide a diagnostic and fix. When service like this is received you definitely have to spread the word! .

Service was great! Mr. Ire solved our [thankfully] minor issue -- he also showed me everything he was doing and every step of his process was well documented in shared photos! Polite, professional, knowledgeable. We will be scheduling with this company for regular maintenance. Thank you Ire!

We recently moved into a new home. We wanted to be sure our HVAC systems (Gas, Electric, and heat-pumps) were operating properly. After requesting quotes on a weekend via AngiesList, JDL contacted us immediately and came the next day. Our technician Ire was really knowledgeable, took the time to explain each part of our system and discovered some issues that needed attention. He tuned up different sections of the system, showing me the diagnostic numbers and required/ideal measurements. He was fantastic and JDL was on point from the moment I submitted a request to Angies List. What a relief to have a company and tech like this helping us :)

JDL HVAC Services technician Isak Waktola called to inform me that he was in route, arrived on time and did a wonderful job cleaning and servicing my HVAC system. He provided a detailed analysis of my system and offered recommendations for my consideration. He was friendly and professional. I will definitely be using JDL HVAC services again in the future.

After 4 visits to my house and over $950 in repairs, the same problem remains. My furnace is still blowing cold air for hours when the thermostat is set to 73 degrees F, and my house is currently 65 degrees. I attached a photo of my current thermostat readings. The temperature continues to drop while my furnace runs for hours ineffectively. They originally diagnosed the problem as being a failed control board and blocked air flow. They addressed both, I paid for both, and the problem remains. Now, they won't come back to look again without charging me. They charged me almost a thousand dollars, and from my point of view, nothing has changed and I still have a non-functional furnace and have to call a different company to address the problem. They say they will charge me if they come back because everything is working normally, but how is it normal for a furnace to blow cold or room temperature air for hours and be 15 degrees below the thermostat setting? They were punctual and professional but they can't and won't solve my problem. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely phenomenal service today (Saturday). So happy I signed the service agreement with this company.
