What another company tried to charge me $550, JDL said the service was not required.

Isak was of great help in servicing our 15 y/o forced air and heat pump furnaces. He described every step of the service, taught us how the units work, and where to look for early failure. Isak also helped install and properly program our Nest thermostats so we have an efficiently running house and HVAC system. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for help!

Diagnosed issue that others did not. Jeremy Allen is top notch. Identified a faulty safety switch that burned up, preventing power to the water heater. Not only did he quickly diagnose, but he procured the parts needed locally and completed the replacement the same day. His overall know how, from electrical and plumbing, was truly impressive and got the hot water back on. Thanks Jeremy!

Leron Xavier was great!!! He was respectful and had amazing customer service. He walked into my house with a mask and shoe covers on. He was very knowledgable about The status of my furnace and also provide good key advice. He was also able to enlighten me with other services that JDL can provide. I certainly plan on doing business with JDL in the future and would hope I have Leron as the technician again.

I found JDL on Angie’s List and they were rated very highly. JDL was the 4th contractor I had contacted and got a quote from. I had contact other Home Depot approved contractors who were just rude and quoted me extremely high prices for sub-par systems. Isak from JDL was extremely professional and extremely knowledgeable and recommend services based on what I needed not on what he had to sell. They showed up in time and the work was just pristine. One of the biggest reason I chose to go with JDL is their service, it was extremely easy and fun to deal with these guys. They installed a new hvac system from Carrier which works great. I would highly recommend using JDL for any HVAC needs, these guys are true professionals.

IRE YUSUFF from JDL HVAC SERVICES LLC. was Extremely Professional. Serviced our furnace for the winter, checked everything from every wire to every part to air input/output etc... IRE answered every question and explained a part that needed replaced. He showed the old part and it's voltage that was deficient then the new part and the proper voltage for our unit. He was Extremely Professional and Knowledgeable. We even decided to have him/his company to return again in the Spring to service our air conditioning. We found them through HOME ADVISOR and within 10 minutes of me requesting a quote for maintenance/service JDL HVAC SERVICES, LLC was calling me on the phone. They set up service for the very next day which was a SUNDAY. I would totally recommend them to anyone in need of through/excellent service. THANK YOU!

Ire just left my place and immediately knew what was wrong with why I was not receiving heat in my unit in a condo building. He was very polite, and wore protective gear. He answered all of my questions because I had doubts about the smart thermostat I had installed. Ire was able to determine that it was not the wiring, but the piping that runs through my building. He also double checked the wiring and was very familiar with ecobee smart thermostats. I highly recommend JDL HVAC Services. Ire was prompt, knowledgable, and overall great.

My outside HVAC unit was no longer working, however, everything on the inside of the house was. Isac W. was able to diagnose and solve the problem in a short amount of time. I have used both Angie's list and Home Advisor and submitted requests for quotes for other work I have needed. JDL is the first company that responded right away. I got a text within 30 sec to 1 min of clicking submit. Followed VERY quickly with a very nice, very professional person who scheduled my Apt.... next day. Tech came on time. Was super professional, knowledgeable, clean and respectful looking. I got a text that he was on his way, so I was prepared. My problem was quick, but he was courteous enough to talk to me and answer my questions. I will definitely be using JDL again as needed.

The call was placed on a Saturday, and technician Isak was sent the same day. He quickly diagnosed the problem as the thermostat and replaced it the same day for a reasonable price.

The JDL technician gave a detailed analysis of the problem and recommendations.

Tech was straight forward and to the point. Knowledgable, fair price, and got it done quickly.

Isak was fantastic. He was able to diagnose the problem and order the parts. The next day - everything went in and we have cool air again! I really appreciated his great communication. He was great about wearing a mask and social distancing while doing the repairs. Thank you

Do NOT hire this company! They misdiagnosed my HVAC, said I needed a compressor, but I only needed a fan. What should have been less than $300 ended up costing me $4,500. I had them come back, because my systems were not cooling. Another $800 later and no improvement. I hired another company, they correctly diagnosed and fixed the problem for less than $500 and, I finally have Ice Cold Air Conditioning. I called JDL for a credit, and I was told to send them an e-mail with a copy of the new repair bill. I sent them a nice e-mail, which was a waste of my time, because they replied that they don't give refunds.

JDL was prompt, reasonable and very professional. Isak arrived on time and was efficient and knowledgeable - offered advice in choosing items that NEEDED to be done and some that didn’t leaving the choice to me. Not pushy but informative. Job was complete in about a half hour, system back on line - even discussed “next steps” and how we’d plan for replacement of the equipment when the time comes - and I’ll definitely look to JDL for any future HVAC needs.

We returned from vacation on a Saturday night to find out that our A/C system had died on us while we were gone. I put in a quote request with JDL and someone contacted me within about 30 seconds of my request. A tech was able to come out on Sunday to assess the situation. Ire was extremely courteous and professional, explaining everything along the way. One minor problem was that we needed a new motor (which died while Ire was here) and they had to order the part, which he said they would do first thing Monday morning. While they did, it was going to be another day before it arrived. I asked if there was something that could done, but unfortunately they needed to wait for the part to arrive. A bit later, Ire called me back to say that they were going to drive way out of the way to pick up the part and get someone to our house later that day, avoiding both a large overnight shipping fee and another brutally hot night in our house. Isak showed up and was courteous and professional as well. He explained the work and explained that our system was working, however inefficiently. He explained how we could fix the issue, and laid out the costs for us. We had to decline as it was out of our budget, which Isak completely understood. I'm not sure about other reviews, but at no time did I feel pressured into buying a product or doing something unneeded. I really appreciate the work they did, their customer service approach, and their overall knowledge and professionalism. We are likely to hire them back based on this service.
