Julian and Joe, were great! Their crew did a wonderful job with the biohazard remediation. They worked with us on the scope of work and were flexible when we needed to make changes. Considering the scope of work the job was completed in a timely manner. We are very happy with VIP-Restoration, Inc.

I can't thank Julian and his team enough. Once my basement flooded, he came over that night and started the water remediation process, tearing up the carpets, looking for where the water had traveled, and placing fans around the basement to dry it. After that was done, they fixed my AC unit and started work immediately after it was dry. The work was done in about a week and a half and I can't thank his team enough for always being responsive and being on time. Once the project was finished, it was almost as if the damage had never happened. I would greatly recommend this company. I don't write reviews often, but I have hired Julian for future work and anyone would be lucky to have this company help them.

Very little communication with this merchant. I paid ahead of the work and after that I kept getting the run around. Ultimately the merchant did not complete the project and admitted to taking on another project that competed with my timeline.

We hired this company to perform mold remediation and general contracting services. They did not complete work on time, even though the completion date was selected by the owner, Julian. The work they performed was shabby and not workmanlike. The owner of the company was difficult to reach and only because responsive when it was time for him to get paid. In addition to performing poor work, Julian used pressure to get my husband and I to pay him for substandard work.

I hired VIP Restoration for water damage remediation, pack out/storage, and the renovation of my condo after it was flooded. When it came to competing for my business, VIP Restoration did a good job: they were responsive, communicative, and informative. Once they secured my business, that's when problems started to happen. The water damage remediation service they provided was good. No complaints there. During the packout, they damaged several of my personal property items, and some of my personal property magically disappeared with no real explanation as to what happened to my stuff. And they billed my insurance company over $7K to provide this "service". The project schedule slipped big time. The company said the renovation would be completed in 3 months. It took almost 6 months for the renovation to be finished! The subcontractors working for them do questionable work - example, one painter they use painted my bedroom wall like 4 times and still didn't get it right! Several tasks had to be redone because the quality of the work was so poor. After the project schedule slipped, it became difficult to get in touch with the project manager (Julian). I got the feeling that he was dodging me. Further, whenever we would arrange to meet, he was typically super late. One time, I told him, in advance, that I would be unavailable to meet at our scheduled time due to unforeseen work demands and that I wanted to reschedule the meeting the next day. Instead of rescheduling, he camped out at my place for several hours and called/text me incessantly over the course of those hours to pressure me to come home and meet!! It was absolutely unacceptable. Lastly, they did a piss poor job with the cleanup. They placed a fire extinguisher without the pin in a box with my personal belongings and it exploded all over everything. They never cleaned up the resulting dust. In fact, I did a good chunk of the cleaning after the renovation even though they billed my insurance company a lot of money for this service. In short, VIP restoration does not live up to its name. If you hire them to do a job, do NOT pay them in advance - pay them in installments after tasks are completed; this way, when there is an issue, you can withhold payment until the issue is addressed.

Julian and team were very on the ball. Wonderful company and very professional services which I will recommand them to anybody if there is a problem in your house.

As soon as I hit submit my phone was off the hook, I reluctantly picked up and on the other end was a calm voice that patiently listened to my concerns, I told him the struggle I am having with my insurance, he assured me that he has worked plenty of times with my insurance company and he take it from there... the crew arrived I paid my deductible and work began like a movie... I like what is going on now, if I change my mind I will let the world know...

We placed a project on home advisor during the Ellicott City storm. Our posting was late at night, around 10 pm and we were contacted by VIP Restorations within minutes. Julian was very knowledgeable and helped me out considerably. He showed up at my house the next day (Sunday) to begin dewatering and always answered me back within a decent (see below) amount of time. There was an extensive amount of work that had to be done and Julian continually worked with me to make sure that everything was taken care of and anything that I had any issues with were fixed. He even added in a couple of extra projects that I wanted and they didn't impact my projects time frame considerably. I have recommended his company without hesitation to others that need work done. Positives - Very knowledgeable about the insurance process and was able to calm our fears during work. - Quality of work was excellent. - Quick to accept the job and get started (very important since it was during a disaster) - Adjusted work to include extra projects without adding time on the project. (added a trench drain) Areas to Consider - Timely communication (sometimes it would take days to get a response) - Keeping schedules (would say workers would be there and they wouldn't show that day)

They responded the same night after hours and began water restoration services immediately. They were friendly, fast and continued to come back daily until the work was completed. They sent in ladies to clean up the mud left from the water damage after the rooms were dry and they had begun the removal of damaged drywall and floorboards. They also worked with us on inventory of our damaged and salvaged household goods for the insurance company claim, packaging and storage in a facility in order for the restoration process to begin which we decided to also contract with them to do to restore our house for the contracting portion of the work. It was a seamless process and they were careful to take excellent care of all our goods as if it were their own. Our items were completely safe with them. Julian Iwundu worked with us and developed a relationship with us throughout the entire process keeping us abreast of the progress and inquiring on our satisfaction. If something was not to our liking, they went out of their way to fix it immediately. They even brought everything back in excellent condition from the storage facility when the work was completed. We could not be more pleased with the entire job from start to finish. We were sad to see them go when everything was done that is how happy we were to have them around during the time they spent working on our home. We will definitely contact them again if we need any recovery, cleaning, contractor or moving services because of the level of trust they inspired in us.

I called these guys in to repair some water damage. Like any job with any contractor, there were challenges and disagreements. It was really no big deal. I voiced my concerns and Julian listened. He accommodated me where he could and made compromises when needed. In the end I got two sweet floors and my house looks beautiful.

I had a fire damage that destroyed my entire house, I was fortunate to find VIP Steemer Inc, the gave me an upgrade, I was truely happy with them and highly recomend them

Our school got flooded and we got refereed to VIP-STEEMER,INC by one of our staff, their were extremely professional, arrived on time, was sympathetic to our damaged school,, and I was happy from start to finished, their dried out the entire school, replaced carpet, painted the walls and billed our insurance... very very happy job

I had an extremely difficult time meeting with Julian, He was never contacted me throughout the restoration process, and when I tried to meet with him he did not show up or was delayed. I actually met with him one time. Other reviews looked good this assignment was a disaster.
