They came fast after the first call. Gave a very fair appraisal and got to work. Removed all water damaged walls and carpet and replaced it all. It looks like it never happened. Great work and will recommend you call them first and donâ t wait for anyone else!

There were minor issues with scheduling conflicts to get started on the work, but once they started, I was very happy with the final product. Julian worked closely with me and he was super helpful throughout the process. I would recommend their services.

VIP Restoration has been one of the most responsive, flexible, and acquiescent contractors. It started with my frantic call to VIP Restoration with a flood in my basement and I was greeted with a live person, not an automated system to frustrate me more while in panic state, who immediately took my pertinent information with courtesy and care. I received a call from a VIP employee within less than forty five minutes and they willing to come out ASAP. The contractors came prepared based on my assessment of the problem. During the mitigation/clean-up process the communication with some of the contractors was initially poor and challenging. However, after providing my feedback to the company owner the level of communication increased and became progressively better - honest and good follow up. VIP willingness to accommodate the customer to the best of their ability in such grievous conditions has been appreciative, welcoming, and pleasant. Overall experience has been great. I definitely would contact them again if faced with a catastrophe with regards to my home

Julian helped me with a flooded basement. He showed up promptly on a weekend to get started and had his team here a few days later to get everything fixed real quick. Would highly recommend!

Mr. Julian is a wonderful man to work with, he has a great customer service skill, however, the project took way too long to be completed.

I called them and the CEO called me back within 5 minutes. We talked about all the details including insurance and my location and they came in about 30 min and started working immediately. He was more concerned about the safety of my self and my pet than he was for money which was surprising. He moved me out immediately to a hotel while work took place. He was very professional and very friendly. I am surprised how well they treated me and how they dealt with my situation. Excellent service.

Read the contract carefully. Julian was hired to repair fire damage at my father's house. My 89-year-old father was told by his children not to sign anything. Unbeknown to us, Julian had him sign the contract which stipulated all insurance monies were to be paid to him. Even though he never completed the job he went after my father's estate to be paid for work that was never completed. In all fairness and to keep it honest, my father did owe him a final payment for work that was done, but Julian refused the payment he was owed because he wanted all of the insurance money, even for work he lied about completing. Julian Iwendu talks a good game, but be very careful. Also, be leery of these five-star ratings. Anyone can post a rating if you know what I mean.

Just want money and then do a little work and then go away for a couple of weeks.

Update: VIP Restoration sued me, we went to trial, the judge ruled in my favor and showed disgust at VIP Restoration. Yea! Background: I hired VIP Restoration to replace drywall and baseboards in two closets and part of the main area that {Redacted} had removed in remediation and agreed to pay $1620. After the work was completed, I received an invoice for $3352.85. I paid $1620. VIP Restoration sued me for 1732.85 plus 150.92 in interest costs. In the revised estimate, VIP charged me $670.66 in overhead and profit charges that were not disclosed to me when given the original estimate. They charged me $805.12 for replacing drywall and baseboards in a laundry room that does not exist. That is, I do not have a laundry room. They also charged me for $95.02 for drywall and baseboards placed in a utility room that does not now or has ever had any drywall or baseboards. They charged me $253.20 for an emergency service call, yet there was no emergency as he did not work for over 2 weeks after I first contacted him. He charged me a $181.32 electrical labor minimum although he did no electrical work. He charged me $158.26 for 3 wall covers that were frayed chipped around the edges with strings hanging off that look like he got them from a dumpster. He raised the charge for a hollow discolored unaligned door from $139.56 to $332.71 plus $39.72 for allegedly painting same. On February 12, 2019, I brought all of my evidence to court including photos of the rooms and closets and the original and revised estimates. I also brought the estimate and floor plan drawn by {Redacted} showing no laundry room, and the floor plan of VIP adding a laundry room. I was able to cross-examine the owner and have him compare the items in the original and revised estimates, confirm that very little additional work was completed between the two estimates, yet he doubles his charges. The judge was outraged that VIP considered my request to put electrical outlet covers on the outlets as *electrical work* and charged me several hundred dollars in overhead and profit, and the $181.32 electrical work minimum to do the same. Do not hire this company. By the way, there was $500 in fraudulent charges in my original estimate which I paid. That is, I did pay $79 for water remediation, when {Redacted} had removed all of the water before VIP started work, $340.26 for work on a laundry room that does not exist, and 89.37 for drywall and baseboard in a utility room that has never had drywall or baseboards. I guess that he felt that he did not rip me off enough and was going to rip me off more in court. Thus, do not hire this company as VIP will bill you for work that they did not do, double the original bill by adding fraudulent items and expect you to pay it, and sue you if you refuse to pay. You will prevail in court if you keep good records but it is a real hassle. Better to hire someone else.
