The owner (Jim) came out personally to discuss my vision and options for the patio and provided a quote. Miguel and his crew who worked on my property were unfailingly polite, respectful of my property, diligent workers. The work was done within budget and within the stated time frame. I have no complaints about either the price or the work and will hire this company again when I'm ready to put in my shed. Excellent work and excellent customer service.

We had a floating door on our new construction and wanted to be able to enjoy the outdoors asap. Our carpenter was very professional and worked long hours even when it was still really cold outside. Our deck is 12x12.5, so he constructed it by himself, and he was meticulous. The materials used were cost effective and high in quality and construction. The deck is built sturdy with attention to detail. Now that it's warming up, we're really loving sitting out and grilling on our beautiful new deck! We look forward to having the team work on our next project.

The quality of the work was outstanding. The professionalism of Jim Sarazin and his entire team, led on site by Miguel, was of the highest quality. From the beginning, Jim worked with us in coming up with a plan and scope of work as we had several projects that needed attending, but with limited budget. A huge oak tree fell during a windstorm, damaging our garage, fence, and patio cover. We also had deck stairs and banister damaged from rot rebuilt. Jim answered many questions, provided clarifications, and provided timely and relevant input to assure we were able to meet our goals, within our budget. We went through a few iterations in the draft scope of work until we were comfortable with every detail, and Jim was very patient with us. Deck and Shed Pros expertise and experience helped us make good decisions. Jim and Miguel were responsive to calls, texts and email. They checked in regularly, communicated as needed, and responded promptly. There were no big surprises. The garage and fence rebuild look better than new. The patio cover and stairs are sturdy and beautiful. The carpentry in our front banister is detailed. They cleaned up and hauled away debris as promised. Our house looks great!! I’m so happy coming home. We won’t hesitate to use them for future work. We were looking to put in a large shed and ran into issues with the county permits. So I needed a company that could just take care of everything from beginning to end. Jim worked with the county to get the permits & approvals and brought in a company to pour the concrete foundation. They explained the different styles and answered my questions about the shed construction and what would be best for our yard. He brought in the guys that built the shed and they put it up fast but it is a good solid construction. We really like it! Jim was easy to talk to and his office answered my questions quickly.

Deck and Shed Pros did an excellent job of repairing my back deck, where a large part of a tree had broken off and landed on it. Most of the railings needed to be replaced, as well as some deck boards. The owner Jim was terrific to work with and his team did an outstanding job. They were very responsive to my concern about not damaging a hedge that had grown around one of the railings that had to be replaced. The team worked meticulously to replace the broken railing without harming the hedge. Jim was also very responsive when I had follow-up questions after the project was completed. Overall they were a pleasure to work with and I would definitely hire them again.

It went very well. Work completed on time and bridge is sturdy and attractive. Excellent workmanship. Jim was responsive and easy to work with. They cleaned up everything afterward.

When we contacted the company, they got back to us quickly. They provided all the different shed options and guided us through what we needed. Once all the specifics were selected, they provided an approximate timeline for installation. Although the exact date shifted a bit, they stuck to the original estimated timeframe. When they did come in, they installed everything extremely quickly. Jen was very quick to respond to questions and issues, and proactive in reaching out to ensure we got what we wanted. It was great to work with a responsive company and we'd hire them again.

We had a huge tree fall onto our old shed during heavy rains in May. Jim, the owner, was one of the companies I called for an estimate. He was personable, polite and responsive. The estimate was detailed, which was helpful moving forward with our insurance company. The other estimate we received was more expensive and too simple to make our insurance company happy. We then went back-and-forth with our county gov't for awhile before settling on the best way to proceed. Jim was super helpful and responsive during that process! Finally, the gravel foundation was laid and the shed was expertly built by a wonderful team! They also repaired our fence where it was broken by the fallen tree. We are super impressed and thankful we chose Deck and Shed Pros!

Jim was very helpful and responsive to our needs. He sent a crew who reconstructed and rebuilt our shed and also finished it with siding, soffits, installing doors and a ramp. We were happy with the work they did

Jim was quick to respond to my request for a quote, which was very competitive. Great communications throughout the process. Quick turn around from go ahead to begin to commencement of work. The workers were friendly and did a thorough cleanup of waste material. I recommend Deck and Shed Pros.

The man identified specific problem I was facing. He stated that, while he would be happy to take my money, the job was really less than what his co. did, and said I should get a "handyman" to do the work. I truly appreciated his time and his honesty with me, and I would certainly hire him for a major project. (My "handy" son-in-law did this job a few days later; his labor was a gift and he charged me for materials only.)

The job was performed in an efficient, timely and professional manner. The concrete walkway was well constructed with a broom-swept surface texture to prevent slipping, and a series of steps to accommodate the walkway to the slope of the ground. I intend to add a railing with a secondary handrail to the walkway to accommodate one of the tenants who is handicapped. Since I am very pleased with the outcome of the walkway project, I intend to ask Deck and Shed Pros for an estimate on the addition of a railing.

Work looks great. Done fast and efficiently. Neighbors already commenting how good it look. Had wooden front porch replaced with all purpose, all weather, composite decking.

We are happily enjoying our new deck. Jim was professional and responsive to all questions and concerns. He was willing to work with us throughout the whole project to make sure we got the deck we wanted. We will recommend Deck and Shed Pros to others.

Repair was done as expected and I’m happy with the results.They did some extra minor repair that wasn’t included in the contract. They did a great job. Jim was very helpful and was straightforward with the repairs that needs to be done.

A gentleman called me the day after i requested a quote on his way to vacation. I was told he would have the secretary get back to me about the Baltimore county zoning laws and then to send the property plat. No one ever called and he never followed up. Apparently they don't need the business and feel its not necessary to get back to potential customers. Save your time and look elsewhere.

One word, amazing! I have to hand it to Deck and Shed Pros for their professionalism, flexibility and responsiveness. I mean that's above and beyond the quality work and pricing that was on point! Jim has been an absolute pleasure to work with, kept me updated at all times and was very thorough with the work done even with small details that i wasn't even able to pick up he pointed them out and made sure the work was done correctly. I am glad I have found them and i would use them again in a heartbeat!

I can't sing the praises of Jim at Deck and Shed Pros enough! The deck on our 6 year new home was collapsing due to the builder not installing the deck correctly. Not only did he come to our home and give a quote right away, but he took the time to draw pictures and explain in detail. Then he followed up with detailed information to help us prepare for possible legal action against the builder. Because of all his work and help, the builder agreed to re-do the deck free of charge for us. So, in the end I did not use the services of Deck and Shed Pro but they will be the 1st ones I call if I need a deck in the future! This company CARES about their work and about people. A rare quality in a contractor these days.

Everything about our experience with Jim was A+. He returned my phone call promptly and met with us to provide a safety check on our deck. We were afraid that the deck would require a pricey repair but Jim assured us that the minor work it needed could be done by a handyman! He was very knowledgeable walked us through the safety check point by point! He left us a professional safety check certificate that we can show a home inspector if needed. I highly recommend his services and plan to call on him again as we plan to build a new deck at the home we're in moving to.
